[He can’t say he is really surprised with the outcome of any of the elections. Though he didn’t really prepare any sort of.. speech or anything.]

Congratulations to all of the Guardians, new and old. And thank you to those that put their faith into me by voting for me. To those that didn’t vote for me, I hope that I can make you think better of me by the end of my term. If not, then no big deal. It should be an interesting six months.

[He's got a few things in the works for this place.]

Feel free to contact me if you have any problems, and I will do my best to solve them. My communicator and door will always open to those in need or otherwise. To you other Guardians, I hope we can work well together over the coming months.

I see the guardians like... I guess the government one might have in certain countries. But usually they do have people who also have there own opinions and help that person rule. So I guess that is the idea you had in mind since that way people might have more of a say, rather than what the guardian says goes... which might not make everyone happy.

Now that I think about it, you job will be tough. I don't think I could do such a thing.

Yeah. As it is now, anyone that doesn't have the people's best interest at heart can really mess things up. I wish the whole system could be changed to something like that with a council, but in the end it's up to the Guardians themselves.

It's not a job for everyone, that's for sure. But I've handled worse, so I think I can do it.

But I believe you do, or you wouldn't be even thinking about something like that. Unless you are thinking someone who was elected doesn't?

Handled worse? It might seem a little more than rude on my part to be asking this, but what is worse?

It's always a possibility. They haven't done anything that makes me think they don't, but in the end, time will tell.

I've had to track and defeat one entity that was hellbent on destroying an entire race of people, one that wanted to enslave the world and one that would destroy the world. All of this while trying to protect my people, better the world and help it to accept my people.

At least here destroying the world hasn't seem to happen, or at least as far as I have noticed.

I didn't accomplish all of those things, though. I didn't manage to better the world or to help them learn to accept my people. [But the other things were good enough in his book.]

I don't think there is much world to destroy here. Though, if they really wanted to do it, that fact probably wouldn't be enough to stop them anyway.

Better at least trying is better than simply doing nothing at all, don't you think?

I guess, but there are people who are more than willing to put a stop to it f they ever try.

Yeah. But I still wish I could have accomplished more. [But there was nothing he could do about that in the end.]

I hope so. This place needs defenders.

There is only so much one person can accomplish, so long as you believe what you have done can make a difference to others, then that should be enough.

[At least in her mind anyway, but that was just her.]
