Episode 1: Arriving with a Yang! [Video]

The feed pops open to show the face of a rather fetching blonde girl with lilac eyes as she grins at the camera while standing next to the hologram of Weiss. "Yo Weiss! I'd rather you were here in person to get me instead of just a hologram, but I'll take what I can get here." She seems pretty optimistic despite being in a foreign world. Though having a familiar face like Weiss certainly makes it a lot easier as she's still looking around suspiciously.

"So...anyone know of a place where a girl can get a strawberry sunrise? And don't forget the umbrella."

"You do. Or you did."

Which wasn't very helpful, but he barely understood how someone could leave and come back without any memories of this place. That wasn't enough to explain it.

"I do...not really know you sorry." She says after a few moments of trying to figure out if she recalls mister dark-haired and scarred. "Mind filling me in, buddy?"

Don't try looking to her about it. Even if she did remember, which she doesn't, trying to figure out something like that was beyond her.

His scar itches. He resists the urge to scratch it, rubbing the back of his head instead.

"It would probably be best if someone else filled you in first. Has Weiss contacted you yet?"

"Hmm? Yeah, Weiss is on her way right now actually. Walking it though because she crashed a motorcycle." Not quite the thing to say to a girl's boyfriend. "N-not that she's badly injured! Her aura would pretty much soak up all the damage and I don't think she was even out of the driveway."

"She what?"

There's a groan that follows, but not necessarily one of worry. Zuko knows just how well her aura holds up, and not just because he once attacked her for show while he was masquerading as the Blue Spirit. It would take more than a bike crash to do substantial damage to his girlfriend.

"Why did she even try to— You know what? I don't want to know."

"Well...I think she was trying to bring the motorcycle to me. Since I had one back in Remnant."

Don't worry Zuko, Yang knows Weiss can handle herself well enough. "Not sure why she decided to try to drive it if she only drove a car before."

He rolls his eyes to the sky. Honestly, Weiss. Really? His world is still a few decades away from having that kind of technology and even he understands that a car and a motorcycle are to different things.

"Probably to surprise you."

"Well...she certainly did surprise me." Honestly, how could someone crash that badly just by getting on the bike?

"Maybe you could give her some lessons on how to ride a bike at night so there's less traffic? Unless you two are busy with...other lessons at night." She teases cheekily.

It takes talent. Weiss, clearly, has that talent.

"That's assuming I actually come from a world where motors are com—" Other lessons.

Zuko's good eye goes wide, his unmarred cheek growing hot. "That's— That's none of your business."

Yang is still grinning cheekily as she watched Zuko get flustered. "Oh don't be that way. I'm sure you two have a lot to teach each other." A beat. "It's probably why she got her room soundproofed."

Flustered and fiery— literally. Smoke oozes out from between clenched teeth as his annoyance simmers.

Yang's grin lessens a bit as she tries to placate Zuko. "Woah there. No need to get all heated up." Okay, maybe not the time for an accidental pun. "It's just a little teasing."

"Inappropriate teasing," he chastises. "And I thought you had no idea who I was."

"I thought I already said, I had been talking to Weiss already. She let me know she had a boyfriend here."

"And the first thing you thought to do was poke fun at something that's, like I said, none of your business?"

"Well, sorry bout that then." And she was. Humor was different for different people, and she doesn't know Zuko's personality, just that he's Weiss' boyfriend.
