[When Gohan initially woke up, he was worried. He didn't know where he was, and didn't know what to expect. He immediately pushed his power level way down so as to avoid attracting unwanted attention while he figured things out.

Though if something had managed to bring him to an unfamiliar location without him realizing it until after it had happened, then it had to be more powerful than even he, a martial artist who had discovered a level even beyond that of Super Saiyan, was. As difficult as that was to believe.

When Gohan walks out of the bay, he's greeted by the hologram. After listening to what it says, he leaves the area, trying to find this welcoming agency. He's still not sure what to think, so rather than risk flying, he decides to walk. Best to look casual, even if you're wearing formal clothing.

He eventually arrives, and immediately begins trying to figure out what to do. If you happen to be there that day, you'll find a preteen boy walking around with a somewhat lost expression on his face and wearing a suit and tie, occasionally asking people for help.]

[Later, after Gohan gets some info, he decides to try his luck asking people about what to do here. He turns on the video feed.]

Um, excuse me! Can anybody hear this? My name's Gohan, and I just got here, and I don't have a place to stay. Can anyone help me with that? I mean, I'm still a kid, so I can't live on my own or get a job, so I don't know what to do.

[ Well Gohan, you're in luck here, because you're about to run into a girl whose's running around and doing some martial arts practice, punching at some invisible enemy before she stops and notices the kid in the suit.

... Actually, that doesn't exactly help you much at all, does it? But still, it gets Vivio's attention, and she looks over at him with a little bit of confusion on her face. ]

... Umm... did you just wake up here?

[It's an interesting enough sight to get Gohan's attention. He's never before seen another child his age into martial arts, so he stops and watches until she addresses him.]

Um, yeah. I've been here less than an hour. Can you help me?

Umm... I can try? I'm not sure how much help I'm going to really be though. I've only been here for a couple of days myself...

[ One of which was spent hiding in the bay after seeing an attempted monster attack... but maybe mentioning that right away wasn't really all that smart. ]

Better a couple days than no days, though! You've still got a head start on me.

[Someone sure is optimistic.]

Umm... I guess that's true.

[ Nevermind that she spent most of her first day here hiding. That was just... yeah. Not much help. ]

So, what do you want to know?

[Where does he want to start?]

I guess the first thing I should ask is, what are we supposed to do here?

... Your guess is as good as mine on that one. No one's really explained that part of all of this, so I don't think anyone actually knows.

Really? Huh. You'd think there'd be some kind of reason to bring people here. What have people been doing, then?

... Mostly working. At least, as far as I can tell.

[ There was at least one person their age who had a job, after all, so it didn't even really seem like school was much of a thing here. ]

What about school? I've gotta stay on top of my studies. And we're too young to be working.

I haven't really seen or heard of them yet, but I'm sure they have to have them here somewhere. I mean, it's pretty important.

[ She'll... not comment on the too young to be working thing, since she had brought it up to other people herself. And well... had kinda sorta been a part time librarian sometimes back home. ]

Maybe there's tutors?

[Which Gohan mainly thought of because he was homeschooled back home. A tutor would be more natural to him than going to an actual school.]

Still seems like something that would be mentioned.

Yeah. I'll... have to ask around again.

[ She was kinda distracted by the whole monsters when she first showed up to really care about that too much. ]

I'm surprised no one mentioned it already. Are there just places that don't have school?

Well... I mean, this place did bring us here for no reason and sometimes people leave also for no reason. It might make getting those our age here in school pretty hard to do...

Maybe, but it's a city, right? There has to be some schools somewhere.

Or at least tutors.

Yeah. You're right. Getting a tutor here shouldn't be too hard...

[ Other than paying them but she's pretty sure Nanoha-mama could take care of that. It couldn't be that expensive, right? ]

So, um. What other stuff is around here? This looks like a pretty big city.

Well... I think I saw a place that sells candy a while ago, but... like I said, I haven't really been here all that long.

And there's a lot of other cities too, and I've been living in Nova City with my Mom the past couple of days, so I haven't really gotten that good of a look over here.

Oh, yeah! I heard a bit about that already. What's Nova City like?

... Honestly, like something out of a sci-fi story set in the far future.

And that's really saying something coming from me. I kinda come from a place where going to another world for a vacation is pretty normal.

...Wait, what?!

[That was not something he was expecting to hear. What would be the point in taking anyone who could dimension hop at will? However, that brings up another question in Gohan's mind:]

Wait, does that mean you can get home?

Umm... no. At least I don't think so.

[ She paused for a moment. ]

I mean, I don't know any spells that'd let me teleport to another world, but I'm pretty sure my Mom does and if that would work she wouldn't have been here when I showed up. Also, something weird seems to be going on with time here, so if we tried it there's no telling when we'd actually get where we were trying to go...

Something weird going on with time? What do you mean?

... Umm, well, according to my Mom, I'm a couple of years older here than what she last remembers.
