Fairy Tail Fun~
WHO: Lucy, Natsu, + Wendy/Juvia/Levy + my npcs :3
WHAT: Unwinding at the Beach
WHERE: the Beach in Fayren
WHEN: 3 Days Post Event
WHY: Stop asking so many questions!
NOTE: Actionspam or Prose away, no big! Threadjack with whoever, have fun! :3
Three days since the spirits were banished back to wherever they came from; Lucy slept throughout those days, with no sign of waking. At least until today. Natsu had been at her side the entire time, it seems. After he helped her to breakfast, they went to check in on the two kids that their past ‘selves’ all but adopted, and she decided, rather than stay goofing off at home, to that they could go to the beach, and have a nice lunch cookout.
Spur of the moment maybe, but what was the harm in that? Before heading out though, she left a note on Wendy, Juvia and Levy’s doors to let them know she was awake and going to the beach. If they wanted, they should come join them!
After preparing for the trip out to the beach, Lucy and her possee sauntered on out to the beach, where she was determined to have some fun and possibly work on her tan. She’d been cooped up indoors for so long, after all! The two kids that accompanied her and Natsu were almost Wendy’s age, if a little bit younger, and with THEM was a happy, year old retriever mix who was all too happy to jump in the water and then jump out and soak everyone all over again. Joy!

The letter was good news to Juvia, who had packed her things soon after waking up to read it. The past few days she had poked her head in once or twice -- each time having found one of the mages inside sleeping, and the other standing vigil. But Lucy was out of bed now! A time to relax and unwind at the beach was just what they needed -- and in true Fairy Tail style. These feelings that made it easy to celebrate with one another -- after another battle won, that was what made the guild always seem so warm.
By the time she arrived she was already in her polka-dotted bikini, supplies under one arm and smiling brightly. But by the time she approached, the noticed the children and the dog running along the sand.
She approached Lucy, looking out towards them. "It seems you weren't the only one that decided the beach was a good idea, Lucy-san," she started, assuming they were with another party. "You look as though you're feeling much better."
          SWIMMING!
A water was a place where Juvia had always felt comfortable, for obvious reasons. Breathing under the surface was never a problem either, and so she frequently took long dives below, navigating through the water with ease.
Feeling particularly playful thanks to all the good feelings in the air, she surfaced alongside the first pair of legs she saw, breaking the surface with a tame splash in the owner's direction. "Ah ha! Juvia got you!"
          DAYDREAMING...
Well, if there was anything that could have made the day even better... it would have been an appearance by Juvia's one and only. From her place on the sand, she had laid out her towel and lounged on her stomach, her legs swishing back and forth and leaned her head on her upturned palms.
Wouldn't it be wonderful? To have gone to a new beach with Gray-sama... Juvia is sure that he must have a stylish new swimsuit, and ah! Gray-sama in a swimsuit, Juvia may not be able to contain herself!
It was probably easy to guess at what had her eyes-half closed, inducing that dreamy look on her face.
JUVIA-SAN
"Yeah -- Ah, actually they're with us; Natsu and I. I've been wanting to introduce you to the kids - Nev! Justyne, come over here a minute!" She waved a hand to get the children's attention.
Nev, the younger of the two, hurried along the hot sand to where Lucy was sitting, as she hadn't yet changed to go swimming. His sister made sure their dog was following before she jogged after him, both children looking curiously at Juvia while the dog padded over to give her foot a sniff.

THE KIDS!
The cogs in Juvia's mind took a little while to start turning, but in no time they were spinning in her mind as her hands clapped down on her cheeks, her supplies falling to the ground at her side. THE KIDS! NATSU AND LUCY HAD ALREADY TAKEN THINGS THAT FAR?! Images of the children's births and various milestones conjured themselves up in her mind. JUST HOW LONG HAVE NATSU AND LUCY BEEN IN THIS WORLD?! The kids that were surely closing in on ten years old, at least!
"Na-NATSU AND LUCY'S CHILDREN?!"

"No! NO no no! It isn't like that! We just - we look out for them, that's all~! We rescued them from something when we were here the first time, and they got kind of attached...!"
Although she had to admit, Natsu was -really- good with the kids. But the thought of her having a family with him just ...made her blush really badly. Nevermind the kids wanted to get the not-mom and not-dad together as much as Juvia might
though for her it was to eliminate rivalness.no subject
"Well it's not like you can't tell I mean neither of them have my salmon hair or anything like that. Doesn't make them any less important though." Natsu said as he walked up close to lay down the blanket on which their surprisingly large group would be eating on before going for a swim.

She clasped her hands together, looking genuinely happy. "Juvia is pleased to meet you," still, even if the children weren't theirs naturally, the roles they assumed spoke volumes to someone like Juvia, who looked back to her fellow mages -- and blushed deeply.
"J-Juvia didn't realize how far your relationship had come, how wonderful..." and that's when she started her fantasizing again, this time inserting herself and Gray over the previous scenes she'd just moments ago imagined. "Raising children together... Gray-sama, someday, ahhh, Juvia can't wait...!" Her hands clasped over her cheeks as she feigned embarrassment, wriggling from side to side.

Too bad though! Both children smiled politely, though Justyne was a bit more reserved in her greeting. Nev, bold as brass, grinned up at Juvia. "You're silly, I like you." He glanced at Natsu, "Dad you've got a lot of funny friends..!"
Justyne elbowed her brother. Nev, rubbed his side, glancing at the other girl, and then startled. "Oh I..mean, Natsu." Cough.
A second time, Justyne elbowed her brother, whispering to him. "You're not supposed'ta say stuff like that about people! It's rude." She turned to Juvia, "Nice to meet you ma'am." Ah...nd then Juvia started fantasizing and ..whatwhat?
Lucy put a hand on Justyne's head, but her cheeks were dark pink, "Wait a second! It isn't like that! We aren't raising children together -" ahgagh. "We just invited them along to the beach - they already have someone that looks after them." Regina just hadn't accompanied them since she'd wanted the Not-Parents to spend time with the children and bond again.

"Yeah we just drop by for visits as often as we can. Not like there's a problem with that."
ota~ (can do either prose or action!)
Ever since Lucy first mentioned she wouldn't be able to make it to the Cloister of Trials, Wendy worried over her condition. She visited the Celestial Spirit wizard's room each day to check up on her—and to make sure Natsu was eating properly and getting enough sleep.
Needless to say, her face beamed when she saw the note on her door. After a trip to the clothing store—she needed to get a swimsuit, after all—Wendy headed over to the beach. As Natsu and Lucy came into view, a smile crept across her mouth. She began to approach them, only to stop at the sight of the two children. The young girl remembered them from the job she had taken a while back; it was good to see them here, too!
As Wendy reached her two friends, she smiled and waved at the children.
"Nev-san and Justyne-san are really cute!" Her smiled widened as she turned to face Lucy. "I'm glad you're all better." Though she wanted to know what happened that made Lucy fall into a brief coma, she decided to refrain from doing so for the day.
(b. ice cream!)
As much as she enjoyed being at the beach, Wendy couldn't handle high temperatures. If not for the occasional cool breeze, she'd be roasting by now. Fortunately, where there was a beach there was an ice cream stand! The perfect treat for a hot, fun day~
She turned back to her friends and smiled. "I'm going to get some ice cream. Anybody want some?" It was only polite that she ask first before she went over to the stand.
(c. making a sand castle)
To Wendy, swimming or building sand castles was a must while at the beach. The former appealed to her most; however, she quickly changed her mind after dipping her toe into the cool water. She sought out a place where she could build a sand castle without it being destroyed by a crashing wave, and began to gather sand together.
Her first attempt resulted in a tall, pointy mountain. But that was okay; building sand castles wasn't something she did often! Wendy flattened the sand and tried again. Her next creation was a little better, but it still didn't really look like a sand castle—or anything, for that matter. She continued destroying and rebuilding a sand castle until, finally, she managed to make something that looked like a castle's tower. While not a full castle, Wendy felt proud of her creation. Hopefully nothing bad would happen to it...
(d. training)
Though Wendy was having a fun time at the beach, she couldn't help but occasionally think about the spirits. Even though it was likely bad things seldom happened—she was told Genessia was fairly safe, after all—she wanted to be prepared should something else ever happen. Plus, there was a chance she'd return home at any time. No notice, no chance to say anything to her friends, nothing. Given how things were going, Wendy had a feeling she'd be fighting not long after she arrived back on Earth Land.
Perhaps a little training session would help temporarily dispel her worries. Wendy didn't plan to do it for long—she mainly wanted to enhance her magic abilities so that she could use more attacks and cast more enhancements or healing magic. She thought about asking her friends for some assistance, but she didn't want to impose, especially when they were supposed to be having fun.
After signaling to her friends that she was going someplace, Wendy sought out an empty space for her to train. She wasn't too far from the beach—in fact, if one were to glance over in the direction she was training, they would likely see winds ranging from gusts to cyclones coming from the area.

((OOC: Feel free to come up with your own scenario or combine two or more of the ones above!))
A of course~!
"Aren't they though?" Lucy don't get proud, they're not your actual children. She ruffled Justyne's hair lightly, then smoothed it again, "It feels good to be out and about - and awake - again, haha~!"

As she turned back to Lucy, Wendy's smile shifted into a small frown. "Everyone was really worried about you." Natsu especially—she considered commenting on their closeness, but it really wasn't appropriate. "Anyway—" She smiled again. "It was a great idea to come here!" It was a perfect day, and a great way to readjust to a (somewhat) peaceful life again.

"I know right? Nothing beats a party at the beach. You get to eat your fill and then once that's settled get to swim too. It's perfect!" Natsu agreed with Wendy's sentiment entirely.

Neither of the children knew what the more serious talk was about, which was no doubt why Nev reached over to tug on Wendy’s arm. “Hey Hey! You have magic like mom an’ d.. Like Natsu and Lucy, right? Do you eat fire too?”
no subject
She turned back to Lucy and smiled. "If it wasn't for you—and Natsu-san—the spirits would probably still be around." Honestly, had she been in Lucy's place, she would've done the same. The people living here—especially those who couldn't fight—were more important than her well-being.
But enough about the serious talk! The young Dragon Slayer turned to Nev. "Ah... I can use magic, but I can't eat fire like Natsu-san!" ...Well, she probably could—after all, if Natsu was able to eat other elements and utilize them, then she should be able to as well! "Would you like to see it?"
no subject
"Wendy's pretty damn strong though. Being a sky dragon slayer has its perks after all." Natsu said after he finished laying out the sheet and supplies.
no subject
Probably! But Wendy had offered to give up her memory if needed. Lucy didn’t, and would never make a sacrifice like that. And knowing that subarchways were made by having memories ‘thrown away’ like that made her want to not have anything to do with them. It was bad enough that she knew Levy gave up a memory - it was just… WRONG.
Preferring not to think about that though, she grinned faintly, “Maybe. Though I wonder if the Guardians are going to do anything about that Vlad.” She gave a shrug. She’d voted for Mavis, not the current Guardian, and she wanted to stay out of ‘politics’ anyway. “Here Natsu, let me help,” she crawled over to him to pull out some supplies.
Nev glanced at Natsu in surprise, and then back to Wendy, his jaw dropping. “Sky Dragon Slayer? Does that mean you can fly?” GASP that is so cool! “Yeah yeah! Show us!”
no subject
"I'm sure they will." Though the current Guardians seemed pretty nice, she had no doubt they would not be so forgiving to troublemakers.
"E-Eh? I-I'm not really that strong...!" Though Wendy was happy to receive the compliment, she still had trouble believing it to be true. "You want me to fly?" Oh boy. How would she explain it without making them sad? "Um... I can't fly like a bird, but I can stay up in the air!" She hoped she could, anyway.
The young Dragon Slayer ran away from the children. Once she had enough momentum, she jumped high into the sky. When she started descending, she unleashed a gust of wind below her. It propelled her upward, but for only a brief moment. Wendy repeated the process a few more times, then finally used the wind to bring her safely to the ground.

Getting the note made Levy smile. She had also been checking in on Lucy and Natsu to make sure that Natsu wasn't over straining himself and that Lucy's condition wasn't getting worse. She had felt exhausted after everything and having to give up a memory has made her feel a little strange. The idea of going to the beach for the afternoon was just perfect.
She slipped into her bathing suit and headed out with a back of a few things. She caught sight of the group and waved with a smile as she walked over.
"Hey!"
Reading
Levy loved the beach and she loved water but she also loved reading at the beach. There was something about falling into a book with the gentle crash of the waves complimented by the bright rays of the sun that made her smile.
It was comforting.
She had made sure she had suntan lotion on when she went to lay out her towel. She stretched letting the ache in her limbs relax before finding the most comfortable position. It wasn't a text book but a romance book that she had decided to bring to the beach. She just hoped no one would be able to glance over her shoulder at some of these chapters.
Re: Open
"Hey, Levy! I was wondering if you'd be joining us!"
Re: Open
She smiled and as her gaze flicked to the children she laughed. It was cute. She takes a seat next to Lucy, laying out her towel to lay down next to her friend.
"How are you feeling?"
Re: Open

Levy lays out next to her with a wide smile. This is the fun simple Fairy Tail life that she remembers. Her smile grows with each passing second and she slowly begins to feel more at ease, even with the memory having been given up.
"It's great that there is a beach so close." She looked over at Lucy letting her front soak up the sun. "I hope you plan to take it easy for a little while." She didn't want her friend over exerting herself and she thought it might be tame for a few more days now that the crack has been settled.
Re: Open

Everything had happened so fast that she’s trying to remember who Lucy was talking about. It took a moment longer but then her expression shifted. “Oh, yeah. I meant to tell you.”
Levy shifted to her side and smiled at Lucy. “Thank you for being worried about me.” Lucy had tried to stop her from helping and while Levy was sure that she should keep what happened there to herself, it still meant a lot to her that Lucy cared about her so much.
