⚒ FIFTEENTH - [ video / open to action ]
Private to Sayla
{ I will annihilate both you, and the humans. Such is my duty. The words still rang in his ears as the light nearly blinded him. It was typical of how he felt after coming out of the Dream Docks; hungry, in need of a bath, trying to sort out the dream from reality. Just continue waiting. The final battle between dragon, immortal, and humanity approaches. A wicked smirk. Spirits attacking the city. The thought of finally going home, and taking E.N.D. with him. Wondering if the spirits completely trashed Tartaros' headquarters in Everglade. A plan already formulating in his head. Mavis. Lumen Histoire. Suddenly trying to remember the rules of Rejenca. The scent of Sayla's perfume and the sound of a page turning.
The sense of vertigo fading, Zeref found the heel of his hand pressed against his forehead, and then to his right eye, trying to force himself back to the real world; or as real a world as a place like Genessia can be. When at last he felt lucid, Zeref turned to Sayla, his eyes adjusting to the light of the room. }
You've stayed here all this time?
{ A question she needn't answer. Of course she did. }
You know, it's... I think it's time I told you the truth about your Guild Master. And yourself. { She has more than earned the right to know by this point. }
OTA:
{ Zeref's face appears on the screen. He's in the city, the sights and sounds around him clearly identifiable to anybody who's spent any amount of time in Genessia City. He's heading down 14th Street, towards the Bay, the Dream Docks vanishing into the distance behind him. }
Something about this world has been bothering me.
{ Something about a big party is heard in the background, spoken between a couple sharing a set of headphones. Zeref pays zero attention to them. }
In my world, the majority of dragons view humans as little more than food. The reason why they were hunted nearly to extinction began with that fact. In this world, they keep mainly to themselves. Why is that?

...What are they like, anyway?
[video]
The dragons have been quiet since.
[video]
Then... Maybe they were like the dragons of Earthland before they turned bad and wish to live peacefully with everyone?
As for why they attacked... I wonder if it's because someone hurt them or did something that upset them.

{ He's heard of it, but it's not an easy spell to pull off. }
You can try. But I would recommend bringing Natsu with you, in case they are not so accepting of visitors.
[video]
[She gives an awkward chuckle.]
...If I brought Natsu-san, he might try to fight them. [That would not end well.]
[video]

[video]
{ Living for four centuries sort of messed up his perception of time. What counts as a long time to him is an eternity for a normal human. }
I did, yes. Put simply, Mavis was very kind to me. I was moved. When she asked me for help defeating a Dark Guild, I couldn't say no. I taught her and the others magic so that they could fight them, themselves. Little did I know that they would go on to found Fiore's most famous guild, and quite possibly the most famous guild in all of Ishgar.
{ Or that Natsu would end up joining them. No way that was a coincidence. }
Though, before you ask, no, I did not teach Prech--... Hades dark magic. At least, not intentionally. I was impressed by the level of affinity he had for multiple forms of magic, but how he came across any of my books is beyond me.
[video]
[video]
It was the perfect choice.
[video]
[video]
{ As for why he wasn't there before... it's likely he took a trip or two back to Alvarez, before they started wondering if he was dead or something. }
[video]
That's true. ...Though, would the guild's reputation really factor into all this? Fairy Tail isn't the sort of guild that cares what others think of it, and it's taken risks before. [Such as letting an escaped convict participate in the Grand Magic Games.]
I wonder... If everyone in the guild knew about how you were friends with Mavis-san and helped the founders, would that change anything?
[video]
{ Zeref shook his head. }
That matters very little, now. Least of all after the war with Tartaros.
{ And once he mobilized Alvarez' military and invaded Ishgar, most likely starting with Fiore and marching right for Magnolia, that would about settle it for good. }
[video]
[She blinks.]
What happened after the war? ...Actually, before that, what war are you talking about?
[video]
{ Zeref closed his eyes for a moment. }
Tartaros massacred the Magic Council and sought to kill all of their former members. Fairy Tail defended a few of them, but took severe injuries in the process. Naturally, they declared war on Tartaros, who was killing Magic Council members in order to unseal their other superweapon, known as Face. They wanted to use Face to erase all magic on the continent in order to unseal their Guild Master, E.N.D.
[video]
[One of the rare times Wendy actually raises her voice.]
Did... Did anybody from Fairy Tail...........die? [Please say no.]
[video]
Not... exactly. Tartaros slaughtered the Magic Council, and several former members. To my knowledge, nobody from Fairy Tail died. Though... many others did. At both Tartaros' hands... and at Acnologia's.
[video]
[She shivers as she remembers how terrifying the dragon was, how it couldn't be stopped when they faced it.
...Though, how was it that everyone from Fairy Tail survived if the dragon attacked? Could it be...]
Was it...defeated?
[video]
{ Zeref doesn't say what actually happened. If Natsu hasn't told her, then it isn't his place. Zeref never had any problem with the other mages of Fairy Tail. His fight is with Natsu, and Natsu alone. }
Though, for what it is worth... now I know that he is not as unstoppable as I previously believed.
[video]
[video]
{ Note that he said something, not someone. }
I have an idea of my own. When I awoke in the Dream Docks, I remember deciding that before I die, I am going to take that thing down with me.
{ He decides against adding 'along with the rest of humanity' from that statement. }
Acnologia's only real goal in life is to find an opponent against which he can go all-out. A true challenge. I intend to give him exactly that.
[video]
[If even Fairy Tail's guild master couldn't deal with Acnologia, then what—]
...Another dragon? [Maybe, just maybe...] Did Natsu-san turn into a dragon?
[He is the only one she can think of—aside from Zeref—who might be able to give Acnologia a hard time.]
