Birthday Party! [Open]

Who: GSNK cast + any of Mayu's friends + any of Mikoshiba's friends
When: August 8th, but it's a sleepover so overnight.
What: Mayu's Birthday Party! With a bonus of Pokemon.
Where: Manga House in Genessia
Warnings: None right now. Starter threads will be posted, feel free to reply to those or make up your own thread.

Visitors will be greeted by either Mikoshiba, or one of the other housemates. The decor is a bit different from other parties: there are pillows literally everywhere, in case Mayu wants to fall asleep wherever during the party. The recent arrival of Pokemon make it even more chaotic, though it depends on the Pokemon's temperament. Some Pokemon are good for cuddling, which is another reason why they're out. Everyone has been asked to bring their own sleeping bag if they choose to spend the night, but if they don't have one they'll figure something out (or just shove them at someone else to share a sleeping bag with).

Movies + Sleepover Time

Thanks to Yui's input, there will be several judo movies playing once things have kind of but not really calmed down, and all of the sleeping bags are set up. None of the titles are very familiar, and some are cheesier than others, but they're mainly for the judo instructor.

[ If it's sleepover time, Weiss is going to be occupying the bathroom probably longer than anyone has a right to. Sorry everyone, but she has a process and it involves brushing allll of that long hair and lotions and all sorts of things. Just about the only thing the process doesn't include is having actually been involved in a sleepover that wasn't a bunch of students-in-waiting who hadn't been assigned dorms yet. ]

[ ...isn't it weird that Nozaki is still up while everyone else is trying to get comfortable? HE'S CLEANING AND HE'S MAKING SURE EVERYONE IS WELL HYDRATED BEFORE THEIR DESCENT INTO SLEEPYTIME LAND.

of course, it doesn't take him long to get those things done. Mikoshiba is probably yelling at him to hurry anyway. so he is! he'll come back in there and lay down now, on his back, unlike everyone else... wtf ]

[Luke is still sitting with his legs curled up to his stomach when Nozaki returns to the dark room to watch movies and settle for sleep. He's not particularly good at sleeping away from home, and the amount of unfamiliar faces has him wide awake.

He waves quietly at Nozaki as the taller man gets settled, his voice soft when he speaks.]

Hi, Mr. Nozaki. Thank you for having everyone over for the party.

[ Nozaki tilts his head up at the other, looking at him upside down from where he's lying. normally, this would be really uncomfortable for people... ]

You're welcome. You're all Mayu's friends, so you should celebrate with him as well.

[ Chiyo, of course, has preemptively claimed her territory next to Nozaki-kun, with her cute bedding and pillow-- but now, with Nozaki-kun laying down, she's having second thoughts.

So, instead of getting settled down like everyone else, she's standing in the middle of the room, above Nozaki-kun and her own spot, trying not to implode from the idea of being so close to him while they sleep. ]

[ Nozaki looks up at her, wondering why she's not lying down or getting comfortable ]

What's wrong, Sakura? Are you hungry still? Is it too hot in here?

H-hungry! That's right, we need more snacks! [ And she's off, bustling into the kitchen to go make another bag of popcorn that they really don't need. Anything to calm her nerves! ]

[ he gets up to follow after her. he might need to let her in on a little secret... ]

Sakura-- [ and he's stretching in the kitchen, putting his hands onto his mouth as he yawns. he must be tired after today ] I needed to tell you something before you make more popcorn.

What is it, Nozaki-kun? [she freezes up a little. is this it???]

If you've already had some popcorn, you should probably not make anymore. You won't be able to enjoy the movie if you can't use the bathroom and your stomach hurts.

[ now he thinks she's fat. She dies a little inside- hunching over the counter briefly, before bouncng back in cool Sakura fashion. ]

It's not just for me! I thought everyone else might be hungry too!

[ OMG SAKURA STOP BEING A DRAMA QUEEN. HE SAID YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO POOP ]

Well, that's nice of you. [ he'll come up right behind her, reaching over for a piece when it's ready ]

Movies + Sleepover Time

[ Mayu tries to sleep as close to Mikoshiba as possible. Some Pokémon form a cuddle pile around him. For when he isn't asleep, the judo movies interest him.]

[Mikoshiba finds his feet more interesting than the movie. He's torn between wanting to cuddle with his boyfriend and being worried about people watching. Finally he makes up his mind. He wants Mayu to be happy tonight. He wants Mayu to be happy. Hands shaking with nerves, he pulls Mayu over to hold him. Actually, he's bordering on clinging to him. His face feels hot and he tries to pretend to watch the movie.]

[ there's the tiniest click from over in Umetarou's direction as a flash goes off. then he'll just lay there and pretend to be asleep.

[ This makes Mayu very happy. He has no problems with people watching him cuddle his adorable, sweet, lovely boyfriend. Actually, he's a little smug about it.]

[Mayu's words help ease some of Mikorin's anxiety. His heart continues to beat fast but also because he's happy and he tries to sound calmer than he really is.]
