What: Tea Party --> Slumber Party
When: August 25, 2015
Who: These Guys, also known as the Cute ApocalypseNames to be coming I promise Please join in, just start at the tea party so you can get invited to the apartment unless Koishi is dragging you along
Where: Teanie Teas --> Luke's apartment
started off simply, because when you're fourteen and you just think you'll have an afternoon with friends and their friends that's how most plans start. Some tea and snacks, a time to talk and meet new people and get an idea of how everyone has been doing, feeling, that sort of thing. Luke is always happy to let people use his tea shop, happier to share his tea, and happiest to share his tea shop while sharing tea with friends--that was his absolute favorite.
So Luke would think nothing of inviting a few friends to the shop on a quiet Tuesday afternoon. The store was never busy on Tuesdays, and the weather was supposed to be gloomy. A cup of tea and some pastries from the bakery would be a lovely way to spend the afternoon. If they went to meet Suna and let their various pokemon meet at his flat later, that would be even more fun, right?
Luke just didn't think the weather was supposed to be that bad. He didn't realize 'gloomy' was going to turn to 'thunderstorm' and then to 'flooding', which resulted in quite a few unexpected guests sprawled in various places in his small flat. Luke also didn't consider the connotations of having several young women in his flat (someone--not Weiss--will have to explain that to him later as well) overnight.
Altogether the cute brigade is going to have a lot of fun with their misadventures. There will be tea! There will be pokemon! There will be snacks! There will be makeovers! There will be snuggling up in astranger's Luke's flat!

Tea Shop
The sign on the door to the shop is turned to 'closed', but Luke is clearly puttering around inside and the door is unlocked and actually cracked open to allow the cool late-summer breeze in. He's got his sleeves rolled up to his elbows as he meticulously arranges pastries on a tray. They ought to look neat, since he's not just having customers but guests, and that's quite different. He's humming to himself as he places and then moves (and then moves again) a scone, carefully considering the tray in front of him.
Guests are welcome to seat themselves. The table has enough seating for everyone--he's pushed the smaller tables together so there's plenty of space for everyone at one table--and most of the necessities are already set out. Clearly it's just the little touches that need to be finished before the party can start!
Re: Tea Shop
Still, Mamoru walked into the Tea Shop, "Hello! Is anyone here?" Mamoru called out before he noticed the table, and he couldn't resist the urge to sit down, he was a bit tired from training with his Pokemon, and he wondered at how nice this Tea Shop was. "Amazing, this place looks so nice...Do I really have enough money to afford to have tea at a place like this" Mamoru said, wondering as he looked at the rather paltry sum of Genessia's currency he had, he had saved the amount he had when he first arrived, and he did get a little bit of an allowance from the Children's Home.
"Well, Maybe they do have something I can afford...I wanted to come here to hopefully talk with someone and meet new friends if someone comes here, as well..."
Re: Tea Shop
He's holding a jug of milk and a sugar bowl, and sets them both on the counter. "You must know somebody who's coming, right? I know lots of people but not everyone--it changes so often is hard to keep track! So I said everyone ought to invite friends!"
He appears from behind the counter and approaches Mamoru, tupping his hat enthusiastically. "I'm Luke! And it's a party so yoy don't have to pay--that'd be terribly rude!"
Re: Tea Shop
Mamoru tried to smile again though. "It's nice to meet you, Luke-kun! I'm Mamoru! Mamoru Amami!" Mamoru said warmly as he stood up and bowed to him, which was a little awkward with the toga and all.

Re: Tea Shop
Despite it being gloomy with a chance of rain, Anastasia considered it a "nice day," only because the sun is not out to cause her any harm. So she was out and about without a parasol this time on her way to the tea shop.
When she arrived to see the sign reading "Closed," she was confused. If the door was closed, why is it opened slightly? For a princess who wasn't allowed to wander her home city much, she didn't have much exposure to businesses. She approached the door to Teanie Teas and slowly pushed it wide enough to poke her head in and look around.]
"Hello? The sign said 'Closed' but the door was open."
Re: Tea Shop
Luke smiles widely, clapping his hands together after setting a sugar bowl on the table. "Come in! I wanted to invite people to afternoon tea, but I didn't know where everyone lived so then I just told people and said they ought to invite friends--"
Stop rambling.
Clearly the apprentice is glad to see her. He pulls out a chair for her, smiling. "If you'd like you're welcome to stay! The shop is technically closed for business but I tried to send an invitation to you."
Re: Tea Shop
[When Luke pulled the chair out for her like a gentleman, she smiled and curtsied.] "Why, thank you very much." [She twirled a 180 and took the seat offered to her.]
"I'm sorry, Luke. I guess I never told you where I was staying when we met at Koishi's home? I reside at the K&H Home for Children, and thank you for inviting me. I may not have gotten it, but it must be Pankosmia's doing to bring me here at just the right time."
[It was very rare for Anastasia to mention her world's supreme deity. Though, she wasn't aware she let that slip. She was a girl loyal to her faith, she just wasn't as vocal about it as the priestesses were.]

Look at that excited little face. "Afternoon tea is usually a little earlier but this was the best time to close the shop and set everything up. It's close enough!"

She paused in front of the door before carefully hooking her foot around the edge, pulling it open and then quickly shouldering her way in. Her arms were completely full... with the cutest goddamn dragon in the whole world, Azalea. She also had a faintly chirping brown paper bag and a cardboard box secured closed with brown twine. The bag contained a rather large multitude of crickets and various other similar insects for said dragon, and the box was a rather inelegantly packaged present. There was no colorful wrapping paper in old hell, after all.
"Luuuke!" She set Azalea, the bag, and the box down on the nearest table and zipped over to give the human a hug (likely seeming to appear out of nowhere.) "I missed youuu!" It hadn't been that long, but needless to say, she was already starting to float up, spinning him around so quickly his hat nearly fell off.

Azalea had tried to protest, because she worried about getting sick again. But she couldn't get away from Koishi, who carried her all the way, just as she had when Azalea had first arrived. So she shivered in Koishi's arms the entire time she was carried to the party.
Once they got inside, though, the place didn't look entirely unpleasant. Azalea was at least grateful for all the insects that Koishi had brought for her. She stayed perched on the table when Koishi set her down, and just observed what was happening.

"Hi--hi Koishi. Hi, hi--!"
When he's set down he wobbles, a little dizzy from the enthusiasm. One hand reaches for the hat that's no longer there, and turns looking for it. He sees it atop the small dragon and huffs.
"Oh--I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!" Luke hurries to the table where Koishi set Azalea and gently lifts his hat, brows furrowed. "Are you okay?"

She stayed perched on the table next to the bag of insects, where Koishi had set her down. There were still a lot of people she hadn't met, so she was unsure how they'd react to a dragon, even a tiny one. But she was still easily noticeable.

She's hesitant of getting too close, afraid of just...anything really. This was a nice gathering. No need for bad things.

So there is a tiny jeweled wings child peeking in curiously. At least she has enough manners not to just open the door and come in?

"MISS CHIMES!" Though no-one was visible to Flandre, only one person had ever called her 'Miss Chimes.' And that person in question appeared in a smudge of green and yellow, mid-hop before she was assaulted by the warmest and cuddliest of hugs.
"Miss Chimes! I didn't know you were here. Just Miss Bats and Miss Maid." Nuzzle nuzzle. Koishi's third eye drifted up, squishing itself against Flandre's cheek. "I'm glad you're here though because we can have lots of fun together. Not many people here are good at danmaku and sometimes I get really bored so we can have lots of fun in the future, okay?"
And there were the tentacles, winding around the blonde and tightening the hug a bit. At least Koishi's calming aura would help prevent anything too disastrous from happening... maybe..

Pet Meeting (Apartment)
Which is great, since Luke has brought over quite a few people to meet the fennec fox. Who is quite the attention monger, chirping at the crow of people and rolling around on the floor. The peach-colored fennec fox will romp around the feet of anyone who is still long enough for her to do so, sniffing and yipping to get attention and then hopefully be pet. She's very friendly, bumping her nose into hands that reach for her, gently curling up at people's feet and in laps. Attention is great.
Luke's Tepig, on the other hand, is a bit more shy. She takes a bit of encouragement to coax out of her cozy spot--on a pillow set by the window--but she'll come over if encouraged, sniffing newcomers cautiously.
(ooc: Since pet-meeting is how Luke ends up inviting everyone over for the totally-not-going-to-be-a-slumber-party, go wild here! Bring your pokemon! I tried to keep this starter vague!)
Pet Meeting (Apartment)
This also meant that they were the only ones Koishi brought to the party. Still, the little bulbasaur and ralts were fine additions to the group. the bulbasaur especially. He just wanted to see everything and meet everyone!
Koishi, during this time, was surprisingly calm, sitting on the couch and brushing Suna's nose with a feather from some large bird before quickly pulling it away. Where she got a feather was anyone's guess. She might have just had one in her pocket. Who knows?
Makeover (Apartment)
But honestly, he's been standing here as they've been poking at his hair for a few minutes now, tugging and pulling and chattering about brushing this way and that and clothes and makeup and frankly he stopped listening.
Altogether, Luke thinks he looks just fine. His closet is full of blue sweaters and white shirts and brown slacks because they match well and blue is his favorite color, any why fix what isn't broken? The only variation are the two outfits he's worn to Weiss' big parties--one pair of black dress pants and a black vest, a red tie and black hat with a white button-down shirt. He's also got a charcoal gray suit and vest and a navy blue tie.
Sorry. Not a lot of variation to be found here, if a makeover is really what you're looking to do...you'll have to get creative.
Games! (Apartment)
Someone will know that you play games like truth or dare, and have pillow fights, and never have I ever, and board games. Someone will know that you don't sit quietly and chatter and solve puzzles all night before bed.
Right? Someone knows that. It just isn't your host.
(ooc: Since your host isn't privy to your party games, you'll have to make starter threads for those! Please feel free!)
Other Stuff (Apartment)
Luke will serve whatever food he has. Despite his very miniature size, have no delusions that the boy has a miniature appetite. He's got plenty to go around and will happily share. There are plenty of snacks and drinks--especially tea!
He has a small television that came with the flat, and should anyone be interested Luke has discovered the allure of movies. He's not got much of a collection but he's borrowed a few from the library to watch.
There are puzzles everywhere. If you want a puzzle just ask the child and he will give you a million.
Sitting and chatting of course is also fair game!
no subject
Which is why it's become a bit of an issue to accommodate so many people.
He's already offered up his bed, and his couch, the two available soft surfaces. He's dug out every blanket and pillow he can find, using them to create more places to sleep, moving the small table in the sitting area out of the way to leave space to get cozy. It's not altogether bad, a big mass of blankets and pillows as everyone tries to get comfortable for the night.

To be honest, she didn't seem tired. A few tendrils did slide out from her sleeves and wound around, supporting one shoulder and her head, but her eyes didn't dim. Two little beacons in the semi-darkness. She seemed content enough where she was at least.
