Battle of Attleton
Who: Everyone

Where: Attleton

[OOC: I will post different sections which you can tag into. However I will do a post section in a couple of days.]
[Fai had everything ready, he was carrying a small bag on his person as he had made sure to set people up in the right spots and had told them where to meet him. After all he felt like it would be best to speak to them face to face before the whole thing. But he knew not to keep them. But for now he waited.]

Protecting the City

Anyone around?

[That's all the warning Yuna will get before bolts of lightning smash into the blind golems, breaking them into pieces. Standing further down the street is the source: a young girl with bright red hair wearing jeans and a superhero t-shirt. She gives a wave with one hand, the other currently holding another lightning bolt as if it were a spear.]
You holding up OK?
no subject
I'm holding up fine and I think I can for much longer. But thank you for the help, I am grateful.
[She stands in position in order to cast Thunder on another one and sent it to the ground.]
no subject
No problem.
[She chucks the lightning spear at another golem before calling up another one. Near her feet, a little laptop with metal legs glows blue. Suddenly a handful of golem are enveloped in similar light and crumble to pieces.]

Bullet!
[Her hands press together in front of her as the word appears in the air behind her only to shot forward like a hundred bullets being fired at the lumber creature.]
no subject
Nice shot!
no subject
Thanks.
[Her magic is versatile though it's not as strong as others.]
They seem to keep coming though. I'm trying to stop the damage to the city... [It isn't going so well.]
no subject
[She'll figure it out from there as she gets her guns ready to see if she will keep this sphere or change it.]
no subject
They are spreading thin, if you can help me we can funnel them into one area.
[Levy puts her palms together again before spreading her arms out to either side.]
Hole! [The word forms of the ground sending more than a few lumbering golems stumbling forward.]
That should hold them here.

End there?

[So she cut her way through the golems with her blade. But there were so many of them; it was unlikely that she'd be able to fight them all off on her own.]
no subject
I see your taking care of them over here. Glad to see.
no subject
Yes, these statues are no match for my blade. I can't help but wonder about the guy who summoned them, though. Wasn't he one of the Guardian candidates in the last election? He seems sort of familiar...
no subject
[See won't go into detail in how she knew that and instead jumped back to quickly attack a nearby golem.]
I guess he's being a big baby about not getting the job. Though he reminds me a lot of someone else that I'm not sure if you'll remember them, but Lucifer?
no subject
[He might have done the same thing he's doing now, and no one would have the right to stop him.]
It seems like he's betraying the people who did happen to vote for him. I guess you can never be too careful about who you're voting for...
[Her pondering is interrupted by another golem, which she quickly strikes down with her sword.]

He doesn't waste any time in casting his magic to create a wall of ice to surround some of the golems. It's making sure it stays reinforced for Juvia that's the main concern.
He looks tense when he looks her way, but also happier than he's been in a while, excited about the battle.]
Use your water to fill that, and then I'll freeze them in place.
no subject
Water Cane! ( she cried, her hands flowing out towards her first target, as a large stream of water followed suit. a pillar of water encased the first golem completely, ripe for freezing. )
They will never stand a chance... against Juvia and Gray-sama together!
no subject
[once the golem was completely frozen, he shot at the pillar, destroying the golem in the process.
he shot her a quick smile. he enjoyed being around Juvia times like this.]
We do make a pretty good team.

she moved with him flawlessly, turning so that she could aim her next attack towards the golems on his other side, her brow furrowing in concentration. ) Water Jigsaw! ( she cried, the sharp droplets from the cyclone that formed in her hands heading towards their target, spot on. but when she turned to the side this time, one of the golems had started to pull up a large chunk of the earth, hurling it towards the two of them.
unable to react in time with another attack, her eyes widened as her mouth opened to try and form a warning -- )

He needed to protect his guildmate--no, Juvia, so he didn't even hesitate to try and pull her into his arms, close to his chest, while running out of the way of the attacking element.]
Ice Make: Shield!
[With one hand free, he formed a shield to receive the brunt of the attack. But it was hastily made, even moreso since someone else's safety was involved, so it wouldn't continue to hold against the attacks.]
LMAO oh my god this is so hideously late........... im so shameless........
Re: Protecting the City
A few locked step behind Satori, while others marched to their own rythm. United together by happenstance and good fortune of their being a battle to fight, Satori's calmness reflected their chaotic desires. And a few of these formidable beings could be seen flanking her. An Oni and Kijo fell in behind her, both roughly the size of a human, with exception of the horns that peeked out from their heads. For their size, these smaller specimens were surely as strong as a hundred humans, alone. To the youkai's other side was exactly the opposite type of body. A lanky, yet muscular beast of an Oni let a growl pass his lips. And further behind, one that was practically a giant of its kind, horn partly broken, entirely a wall of flesh and muscle. The ranks behind those three varied in size and agression, but each one of them was hell-bent on marching against their shared foe. Oni were simple creatures, Satori thought. Predators and natural enemies of whatever a proud man cherished, eaters of flesh and raiders of villages.
In her homeland, humans had a name for such a thing. Fearful tales where predatory youkai would cross mountains, forests and even settlements. If anyone was to gaze upon that baleful march, they would surely be their next victims. Even if there wasn't a hundred of them, she'd convinced this band of Oni, despite their kind's wariness about the satori youkai. That would have to be - and was more than - enough. Once the chanting and howling from afar finally stopped, enough to warn all others of their presence, Satori took up a position on a hill and stood her ground. One of the larger Oni leaned down to speak with her. Satori wasted no time replying.
"I must have part of your number guard the humans. Protect them with your lives, and make sure no harm comes to them..." The couple-dozen of the Oni seem to re-organize themselves. Some of the stronger and more monstruous ones gather to form an advance party. "As for the others, you should alter your path here, slightly, enough to meet the golems head-on. Neither those golems nor their masters must be given an inch, are we understood?" The formidable Oni leader offered a firm nod.
And so, the warband divided itself into two groups in widely different directions. One to fortify the defenses and protect the refugees from Attleton, while the other moved with force and purpose towards their destination. Satori could only hope that Gilgamesh's advance would be halted at any cost, even if the Oni saw fit to crash directly into the enemy lines. When a certain Golden King stuck up like a nail, Satori had brought an impressive hammer. All that's left would be to see if they'd strike him down.

Once that wizardry runs out of juice, she calls forth what looks like bolts of lightning. Holding them in her hands, she starts tossing the energy at golems that get too close to the town's buildings. Dairine can probably manage by herself, even if she looks so young. But company is welcome.]
