[Fai had everything ready, he was carrying a small bag on his person as he had made sure to set people up in the right spots and had told them where to meet him. Re: Protecting the City
A few locked step behind Satori, while others marched to their own rythm. United together by happenstance and good fortune of their being a battle to fight, Satori's calmness reflected their chaotic desires. And a few of these formidable beings could be seen flanking her. An Oni and Kijo fell in behind her, both roughly the size of a human, with exception of the horns that peeked out from their heads. For their size, these smaller specimens were surely as strong as a hundred humans, alone. To the youkai's other side was exactly the opposite type of body. A lanky, yet muscular beast of an Oni let a growl pass his lips. And further behind, one that was practically a giant of its kind, horn partly broken, entirely a wall of flesh and muscle. The ranks behind those three varied in size and agression, but each one of them was hell-bent on marching against their shared foe. Oni were simple creatures, Satori thought. Predators and natural enemies of whatever a proud man cherished, eaters of flesh and raiders of villages.
In her homeland, humans had a name for such a thing. Fearful tales where predatory youkai would cross mountains, forests and even settlements. If anyone was to gaze upon that baleful march, they would surely be their next victims. Even if there wasn't a hundred of them, she'd convinced this band of Oni, despite their kind's wariness about the satori youkai. That would have to be - and was more than - enough. Once the chanting and howling from afar finally stopped, enough to warn all others of their presence, Satori took up a position on a hill and stood her ground. One of the larger Oni leaned down to speak with her. Satori wasted no time replying.
"I must have part of your number guard the humans. Protect them with your lives, and make sure no harm comes to them..." The couple-dozen of the Oni seem to re-organize themselves. Some of the stronger and more monstruous ones gather to form an advance party. "As for the others, you should alter your path here, slightly, enough to meet the golems head-on. Neither those golems nor their masters must be given an inch, are we understood?" The formidable Oni leader offered a firm nod.
And so, the warband divided itself into two groups in widely different directions. One to fortify the defenses and protect the refugees from Attleton, while the other moved with force and purpose towards their destination. Satori could only hope that Gilgamesh's advance would be halted at any cost, even if the Oni saw fit to crash directly into the enemy lines. When a certain Golden King stuck up like a nail, Satori had brought an impressive hammer. All that's left would be to see if they'd strike him down.
