[Video] If you need something taken care of we'll get it done.
Greetings Genessia and associated realms.
My name is Erza Scarlet and I represent the Fairy Tail Guild. We are a group of wizards, identifiable by this mark...
[She shows her left arm which sports a small stylized fairy emblem.]
In light of last week's attack, from today onward we shall be offering the services of our guild in exchange for proper compensation. [She doesn't say 'money' because she would be okay with being paid in strawberry cake. The others probably want money though.]
If you need something done please don't hesitate to submit a request. We will take on jobs both simple or difficult, however we reserve the right to turn down any request at our discretion. As a lawful guild we will not accept assassination contracts or any other task which would violate the laws of this world.
If you have any questions, I will do my best to answer.

No, we have an apartment in the main city but I've been earning money by hunting monsters in Fayren. It's what I was trained for back home.
[And she enjoyed spending time in the fantasy realm. It was like something out of one of the books she'd enjoyed so much as a child.]
Hm.. come to think of it, you're the first people I've met here who live in one of the subcities.
[Well, there was the Attleton Guardian but she'd never met the man, only his thugs. She didn't much care to either.]

[Then again Blake doesn't look that much younger than Erza, so perhaps it she shouldn't sound surprised. She is surprised to here about the living arrangements.]
Really? Is it that rare to live outside the central city?
no subject
Yes, all of us were to some degree before we were brought here. Technically, we're still considered in training.
[Admittedly being a member of the White Fang, monsters weren't her primary targets. No need for Erza to know that though.]
It's uncommon, but I suppose most people just find it easier. I simply prefer to stay close to my team, myself.

[Lucy had told Erza that Ruby was a huntress-in-training, so it made sense that Blake was as well. Don't worry Blake, your shady past remains a mystery to Erza.]
I suppose we decided to stay in Fayren because it feels a little bit like home.
[She leans out of her window to watch the streets.]
We've taken up temporary residence at the Cat's Paw Inn south of the palace.
no subject
I've felt the same way myself.
[And she smiles just a little bit at the name, privately amused. The Cat's Paw Inn. It figures.]
I'm familiar with it.

Ruby seemed to use a form of guns magic utilizing a type of ammunition I've never seen before.
[She smiles.]
Perhaps our two worlds might not be so different.

[Erza isn't the only one curious. Blake isn't as much of a weapons nut as Ruby is but it is an area of interest. And the chance to see real, actual magic in action was a tempting one indeed.]
If you like, I can meet you there and let you take a closer look. I wouldn't refuse the chance to see this magic of yours first hand either.

[Does she sound more than happy to have company? Yes, yes she is. The others were out doing their own things so the redhead was left alone with her boredom and only solitaire with which to entertain herself.]
To Action Tags!
[She knows the feeling well. Even while Blake was happy keeping to herself with a good book, there was something to be said for having friends nearby.]
[She knows Fayren well by this point so it isn't any trouble for her to get to the inn once she crosses the Archway. Just a little while later she's downstairs in the Inn's common room and looking around for any sign of the redheaded wizard.]
Been having some electricity issues orz
Ah, I hope I haven't kept you waiting.
No problem-o. It happens
Not that it mattered after only a few short minutes of waiting. She turns to greet Erza when she arrives.]
You didn't, I've only been here a few minutes.
[That parcel of hers gets a curious glance. Had she gone out to pick something up?]
no subject
Please have a seat.
[She gestures to one of the sofas.]
I hope you aren't allergic to strawberries?
[Erza opens the box and a sugary aroma wafts from inside; strawberry shortcake! The redhead steps away for a moment to retrieve a pair of saucers and forks.]
no subject
I'm not. [She waits a moment until Erza returns with the utensils.] Thank you.

[Erza summons a small silver blade, perhaps too ornate for cake cutting, and proceeds to slice even pieces for them. Erza smiles and hands Blake her own slice before taking a seat beside her guest.]
This is my second sampling from this bakery, it feels like such a long time since I've had a good slice of strawberry cake.
[Excuse her while she digs in. Between savoring every crumb she glances over at Blake.]
So have you been here long? In this world I mean.
no subject
... It was almost somehow anticlimactic that it was then used to cut a cake. Oh well.]
[She'll wait until Erza sits down before starting in on her cake with small, even bites, and quickly makes a note to ask Erza which bakery it came from later.]
For about four months now. From what I understand, I was one of the first to appear after the city "reactivated."
no subject
[That seemed like such a strange word to use when talking about a city. It's almost like Blake is describing a machine. Blake's reply about her length of time in Genessia makes Erza a little melancholy.]
Four months? That's a long time to be away from home...
[When she thinks about the seven years she missed in Earthland coupled with her time spent in Exsilium, it really begins to add up. Just how much time had she really gotten to spend at home recently?]
no subject
[She shrugs a little bit. It was a strange choice of words but it was what she'd heard from people who had been here for a long time.]
... I suppose it is.
[She frowns a little bit, looking down at the cake.]
I guess I haven't thought of it much. The truth is, with my team here, there isn't really anything for me to miss back home.
no subject
I must say that I'm quite envious; even though I have Natsu and Lucy with me I miss the rest of my friends who aren't here.
[She continues eating her cake.]
We've been thinking about building a guild hall on the outskirts of the city.
no subject
It sounds like a better alternative to creating an Archway. So you're really planning to continue operating here?
no subject
[Even the bad ones.]
For the time being, yes. It will be a good way to make ends meet until we discover just why we were brought here.
