[Ken has been here for a little while, has gone through the documents, tried to make sense of things - but honestly, there was only thing he was really worried about.

Or rather, someone. Someone that he knew was with him shortly before he woke up here.]

Wormmon? Wormmon, where are you?

[Because he knows that the Digimon was an over protective little digital insect and wouldn't leave him alone unless something happened.

But Ken couldn't remember what that something would be. He sighs before he suddenly remembers the device in his hands and looks down at it, slightly startled to see that it's apparently recording?

Huh.

Well. He might as well take advantage of it, right?]

Ah, excuse me. My name is Ken Ichijouji and I'm looking for a little green worm called Wormmon. I don't suppose someone has seen him?

Then do you remember where the Bay is? I'll meet you there. it should be easy enough to find you there.

[She was already moving anyway, so she figured it wouldn't take her too long.]

That's not too far from here, I don't think.

[He nods.]

I'll be waiting then.

[She nodded slightly as she started to head off, switching off the feed. It really didn't take her long before she came around and waved slightly.]

Hi, nice to finally see you in person.

[ As soon as she cuts the feed, Ken pockets his own device, making his way back towards the Bay to wait for Hikari. It doesn't take long of course, and he raises his hand in a greeting of his own as she approaches, before giving a small bow. ]

You as well, Hikari-san.

[ Even if it's a bit weird, considering that they were the same age and now they're not. This was going to take some getting used to. ]

[She just smiles slightly, it was odd to her as well, but in a very different way than what the other thinks really.]

Now follow me and I'll show you where I live.

[As she walks, she had been considering moving due to where her work was after all.]

Ah, thank you, Hikari-san.

[He follows quietly, taking a moment to take in their surrounds before returning his attention back to her, before he asks her a question.]

Have you encountered anyone else from home here?

Ah, yes. Mimi-san is around.

[She got a very similar reaction out of her when she first saw her as well. It was strange on her end.]

But apart from her, I haven't met anyone else.

I see.

[ Which meant no Daisuke, Miyako, Takeru or Iori. His interactions with Mimi-san were rather limited, since the older girl spent most of her time in New York. At least during the time he knew her. ]

Do you know what time she comes from?

[ Is she from Hikari's or closer to his own? ]

Well, she wasn't from my time, so I guess closer to yours.

[Because she was different than when she remembered her.]

Does... that actually help?

A little, I suppose.

[He gives the other a small smile.]

Not that it matters, since you're still Hikari-chan, no matter how old you are. Although it's a bit surreal to see you this young, I will admit.

So... Am I no different now than I am that you know?

[Curiosity has pinged her to know a little about what she might be like in the future.]

Well, I guess you are a bit different. I haven't really known you as long as the others, like Takeru-san or Motomiya. But the things that I've noticed about you - they're still the same.

[ He won't mention the Darkness, though. He doesn't know when she encountered it and if she hasn't yet - he doesn't want to have to tell her about it. ]

[Well that was a little bit of a relief that she wouldn't have changed much or if at all really. She figured that was a good thing at least. She turned the corner, she knew her place was at least close by.]

Do you see this apartment block? That's where I live.

Do you live by yourself?

[ Not that Ken didn't have faith in her, of course. He had heard stories about the group's trip to the Digital World the first time around and knew that they could take care of themselves. ]

I'm the only person, yes. But I have pokemon as well.

[Hikari had learnt how to take care of herself a tiny bit before going to that world considering her mother would need to go out every now and again when she was ill.]

The pokemon are really nice, so they won't hurt you.

[ He nods. He doesn't really have much experience being on his own - unless you count the time he spent as the Kaiser, when he had moved to the Digital World on a more permanent basis. Then again, he had had Wormmon watching out for him, as blind as he been to it at the time.

He still had so much to make up for. ]

Everyone seems to have them, I noticed. Are they native to this world?

They are not.

[Quick and right to the point.]

They arrived and stuck around the cities, but left after a certain amount of time.

Ah. But then some of them stayed.

So long as we had the right items for them, yes. I managed to keep four myself.

Items?

[ You're just making him even more curious, Hikari, good job. ]

It was discovered that you needed an Everstone and an object that can go with the pokemon in question. I was lucky enough to find four items and everstones that kept them here.

What sort of objects?

Something that would work with them. Like TM's which was a way for them to learn attacks and such is just an example.

[ Ken raised an eyebrow, growing even more confused. If he didn't know any better, he would think she was doing it on purpose.

But this was showing him that there was more to these Pokemon then he thought. ]

So they're not like Digimon in the fact that Digimon already seem to know their attacks, but can't use them until they evolve.

Or level up, sometimes.

[If she was honest a lot of it was confusing for her to say the least.]

There is a lot I want to learn about them never the less and now I have my pokemon friends, I hope to learn all I can.
