[Levy goes above and beyond to make this party amazing. She has even hired someone to cater it which she is thankful for because her skills with cooking usually extend to reading directions and boiling water. She makes sure to have a mixture of drinks both alcoholic and not, very much the Fairy Tail idea of a party. Of course there are decorations all over the outside and inside of the house and a few sprigs of mistletoe that wait unsuspecting in doorways to ensnare guests. Of course kisses on the hand and cheek count just as much as kisses on the lips.

Knowing that the house might be to small Levy's set up a fire pit outside, allowing people to enjoy the warmth of the flame while surrounded by the cold air. The party is scheduled into the evening and eventually stars will dot the blanket of dark that covers the night sky. Levy has also planned fireworks which can't possibly go wrong!

Holiday music plays inside mostly from a CD that she bought and people are welcome to dance if they want to. Most of the songs are slower though there are a few quick ones in the mix. She set up a few games hoping that it was enough to keep everyone happy and entertained. She might be trying a little to hard for things to go well.

In the main room there is a large excellently decorated tree. Beneath it Levy has put her gifts to her friends. It's definitely worth checking out however everyone will discover they got books for Christmas. They all suit who they are address to but they are books with a card tapped to the brightly colored wrapping that expresses holiday greetings. A few of her close friends have special gifts though Levy has them stashed away for later.]

[ Liv gives him a thousand yard stare for a couple of seconds, but ultimately decides if he agrees to something, she'll agree to it. ]

If you're OK with me calling you every morning for the next week making sure you're not craving brains.

No, but I'm a huge worrier right now and I may very well make you kiss me twenty times so I can get a good selfie of it. [ At least she's smiling now that he reminded her of that. She's not 100% sure but there may be some anxiety involved in this brain. ] You deserve harassment-level phone calls for this. Come on.

A new personality quirk, I take it? Well, you do look amazing. I guess I couldn't complain if we had to share twenty kisses.

You could call it that. I'm guessing that compliment you were talking about while someone else's life was flashing before my eyes was you hitting on me too?

[ She's going to lean over and kiss him on the cheek, holding her device up to take a photo as she does. Sure enough, the second that she looked back at it, her hand went up to David's shoulder as she tried again. And again. Then fixed her hair. One more time. Nope- This probably looks really weird for her to keep doing this, it was bad enough when it was just her trying to do this. ]

I told you, it's not coming out right. [ Here we go again. He really might want to stop her at some point and take it himself or do something to just get her to calm down and stop focusing on the camera and just focus on him. ]

{David chuckles a bit and he reaches up and grabs camera.]

Relax, Liv. [He lets go of the camera and it floats in the air.]

Just look natural and I will snap a ton of pictures. I'm sure you will have at least one or two that you will actually like. Think you can fight past what you are feeling and do that?

[ Liv reaches for the camera as soon as it's out of her grip, but seems to give up once he's floating it in the air and gives David an unconvinced stare for a couple of seconds before sighing. ]

No, but I can try.

[ Liv takes a deep breath. Sometimes being reminded that it's just the brains, not her helps. She can identify the behavior and at least try to stop doing it. Even if it doesn't always work. ]

Just focus on me. You rule you, Liv. Not some silly compulsion. [He gives her time to give him another smooch before he starts snapping more pictures.]

Your sense of humor astounds. I'll laugh when you've eaten a schizophrenic and start arguing with a horny bag of chips or...

[ Liv quiets down for a moment. She's not even sure she was the one who did those things. The way all the tests are coming out, she's pretty sure that Balthier and her theory was right. Her lips linger on David's cheek, a somber pensivity in the motion before she pulls back. Whether she believed David or not, she was fairly certain she wasn't sure who "you" was in this case. At least he got her mind off of the camera. ]

[Once he takes a couple of pictures and she pulls back, he floats the camera over to her.]

I know what it's like. I've suffered from Dissociative Identity Disorder. Different people, different personalities, back stories and powers. [He motions to the device.] Check the pictures to make sure they came out well.

[ She's not sure that's comforting. Having a disorder like that is something different- she knows he's trying to comfort her, trying to be there for her and inspire her, but Liv chooses to eat brains. She intentionally uses them, intentionally lets them take over who she is. She suspects it's why hers is often so much worse than some of the other zombies she meets. Because she can't keep living like this without some form of purpose- another reason Genessia's been feeling like it's eating at her lately.

Liv takes a quick breath, then grabs the device back and puts it away. ]

If I check, we're going to be here for another hour. I'm going to trust you. I can do that a lot better than fight brains.

[He just wants her to understand that he knows what it is like to have something that's not you take hold of you and force you to do things you don't want to do. His mind was a literally battlefield of personalities fighting for control so they could kill, take over or destroy the world.]

So what have you been up to? Feels like I've had a hard time getting ahold of you lately.

Just work. Things. And work. I haven't been avoiding you, don't worry. Have you had any champagne yet?

Of course. I opened up the first bottle tonight. [But don't think you will side track him.] You do remember that I'm psychic, right?

I remember. Hence the not-avoiding.

[ There's a definite dry smile. She is trying very hard not to think about the blood test results right now. To the point of thinking about not thinking about the test results. It's pretty self-defeating. ]

I'd really like to not ruin Christmas for anyone.

[ It's not an avoidance question, it just sounds like one. ]

[He raises an eyebrow.] March 21st. Why?

A year since September.

[ The wryest smile pulls to Liv's lips. That's the closest hint she wants to give. ]

Just let me get through the New Year before I have to say anything.

You know what whatever it is, you can trust me with it, right? I mean you trust me with with..you know. [The whole zombie thing. Though she didn't have much of a choice in the matter.]

[ Liv shakes her head, looking in his eyes. ]

It's about you, and me, and everyone else I took blood samples from-- we used a forensic technique used to find out the approximate age range of victims, usually within about 10 years. [He thinks on that for a moment or two.] Are you saying..everyone's age range is showing well below what it should be? As in something like the time of our arrival up to the point where you took the sample?
