[The video begins with Jaune looking very confused about something.]

I just saw someone I know which doesn't make any sense because it hasn't been that long since I saw her.

Uhm. Hi, name's Jaune Arc. [There's no need to panic because he did that already. He tries to smile and look confident but the fact that he's soaked and the way his smile twitches like he's barely holding it together kind of detracts from his effort.]

And I guess I'm here. Like...everyone else who's here!

Does anyone here know Weiss Schnee? We go to the same school, which is why it's really weird to see a hologram of her and find out that she's running a company here. Is there anyone else from Remnant here too? Otherwise, I guess I'll look into employment. Yeah. There's no reason to freak out over it or anything. I'm definitely not doing that right now.

[He turns off the video and his expression becomes much more obviously unsure as soon as he does. He leaves the Bay, attempting to use the map to navigate to Schnee Company. He's glad to have his weapon and shield on him, regardless of what Hologram Weiss said. Eventually he starts aimlessly wandering through Genessia. It's not that he can't read a map he can ~~easily~~ read a map. But he's distracted by the fact that he's in a different world. Feel free to run into him.]

[Narrows eyes because classy, suave looking man saying that.]

Are you...like someone who works for her?

[He smirks, raising an eyebrow slightly.]

No. No, I do not.

[Oh. Now his eyes grow increasingly wide, but he perseveres.]

Are you friends?

[He is really enjoying watching this guy squirm way too much.]

More like acquaintances, really.

[Only acquaintances? He tries to relax but that's easier said than done.]

I get it! You know her because she's famous here.

She was running for, and won, the Guardianship of Nova City. I live there.

Oh. Good for you.

[He means it. Weiss will be the best Guardian ever.]

[He shrugs.] We'll see, I suppose. I voted for her competition.

[Horrified gasp.]

How could you.

[He has no idea who her competition was.]

I felt she had a more compelling argument.

[And a lucrative offer.]

Do I detect a sense of loyalty? We are discussing the leadership of an entire city. If you found someone more suited to that task than Weiss, would you still vote for her?

How can you be sure someone else is more suited to the task of leading? Because they're better at talking about what a good leader they are? There's no such thing as a perfect leader, but I trust Weiss. I know she's a good person, and she's responsible. She can handle it.

Being a good person rarely lends to one being good at holding a political position.

I get that you have to be more than a good person to be a good leader. But Weiss is smart. She's driven, and she probably knows a lot about running stuff since she runs a company here and some sort of research place. All being a good person really means is she'll put anyone here before herself. So I'd still trust her before someone else, no matter how nice their speech is.

Running a government like a business is foolhardy. [He shrugs.] To each his own, though, I suppose.

I never said she would run the government like a business. Fair enough.

What do you feel gives Weiss the experience necessary to protect an entire city from itself?

She's been here for two years, so I'm sure she knows how everything works. How long have you been here? If we're going just by experience, that should be enough since City Guardians are from different worlds anyway. And maybe you shouldn't run a government like a business, but it shows Weiss is intelligent and organized and that she can work well under pressure. I actually don't see what there is to criticize her for. If you're wanting to vote purely on experience, then maybe you might find someone else more qualified, but I don't see experience as the most important qualification because you can still screw up no matter how experienced you are so Weiss is still the best in my opinion.

I just got here. Today. And I just found out Weiss is a Guardian and I still only basically understand what that means. And I'm trying to learn as much as I can about this world so...

It's not like I was here to vote before.
