[ there's a little boy out of the streets of Genessia. he's close to all of the shops and looking for handouts...except, you wouldn't know he's a boy at first glance. he just looks like an injured little girl who has both her hands over her eyes and is crying.

he's just trying to get someone's attention at this point. when he isn't noticed after a moment, he crosses his arms and gets up looking more than annoyed. the kid has no shoes on and his feet are black with blisters underneath ]

I wanna go home... I'm so hungry...

[And there's another boy absorbed in his book copy of Hamlet. Actually it's not his, he found it. But he's too engrossed in it, so he's not paying attention to his surroundings until he accidentally walks into the other boy and falls over him.]

Whoa--!

Hey--!

[ and he's toppled over. he grabs the book though, pulling it behind his back ]

Watch what you're doing!!

Sorry, I didn't see you. Can I have my book back?

[He notices the stray tears, and immediately surveys him for injuries. He notices the feet and crouches down to get a better look.]

You're at risk for infection.

[Without asking, he tries to grab his wrist and drag him back to the place he woke up at.]

S-Stop! Don't touch me! [ he pulls himself up and tries to get away from the other. there's a fear in his eyes as he gets up to run away. he doesn't get very far though, especially with how hurt his feet are.

how long had he been running before? he couldn't remember. but he woke up in someone else's house. had Elyurias made it possible for him to get out of that prison? and he was taken here? it didn't make sense. but he wasn't going back! ...and he wasn't giving that book back either! ]

But you don't want it to go septic! Wait--!

[he runs after him, and it's not hard since this girl is injured. he stops a few feet away from him and takes off his shoes and socks, tossing them to him.]

Wear these for now.

I don't want your Number 6 garbage. [ he says it with so much disgust and picks up the shoes to throw them back at the other ]

I just want to go home... I want my Gran... [ he does, however, keep the socks. and he starts to cry, his dirtied face just looking even worse with tears streaming down it ]

They're not from Number 6. I found them. ...Didn't you figure out we're not there? [Why did he hate Number 6?]

Did you wake up here too? [He cautiously approaches him, holding onto his shoes.] When I woke up I was alone. We should probably call the police to get back home.

No, you don't understand! They won't want to help us! They'll just...take us and put us somewhere else.

...You said...you woke up here too? Why? Why are we here? Are we dead?

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be in physical pain if you were dead. I don't know. I think I was kidnapped.

[He pulls out his videophone to show Nezumi.] This was with me, so I think someone planned this.

What is that? Who gave it to you? [ he looks afraid. like it might be a taser or something ]

So they...did this on purpose... They knew I would escape. [ he pauses. he's never begged for anything in his life but ] Please don't tell them. Don't tell them I'm here.

I don't know. There's no record on it of someone besides me using it. Actually...that's the thing that makes no sense. Someone who claims to be me has used it in the past.

Are you in trouble with the authorities? I won't, but your escape is no good if you're too delirious to run. I don't want to let you die.

... [ he scoffs, looking away from the other. but he ends up biting his lip. maybe he should let him help? ] Y-You're just a kid, you can't help me.

[He smiles wryly.] You're just a kid too but apparently you can "take care of yourself". Besides, would you rather trust an adult?

Be realistic. No one is going to take me as seriously as they would an adult. So isn't it safer to trust me?

[ he frowns, looking more like a pout and looks away from the other ] How do I know you aren't lying?

[he looks up thoughtfully.] Why would I lie? I have nothing to gain from helping some girl who yells a lot.

[ Nezumi goes to open his mouth to object... but whatever. this boy didn't need to know who he was in the first place ]

You've probably been offered a reward, I'm not stupid.

[Pause.]

Well, I'm using it because I found it. I don't even know who you are. What good would a reward be?

[ he pauses, looking down and thinking. the boy wanted a name. well, he did think he was a girl after all. that might be why he's trying so hard to help him. the kid looked wimpy, if something happened, Nezumi felt that he could take him out in an instant ] I'm... My name is E... Eve.

Where I woke up. Maybe it's not mine, but...I'm using it because it's there.

That's not a very good reason. Shouldn't you say that you need it or something?

[ he gives a nod, looking down at his feet. he realizes he still has that book and holds it to his chest ] Well now you know my name... So you can go now.

I do need it. But I need to get out of here more than that.

[He looks down.] You're staying here?

What? Don't like your new home as much as you thought? What's back at Number 6 for you anyway?

...Yeah! So, you better get going before you die out here. I'm tougher than you are, I'll manage.

I don't think the place you're kidnapped can be called home.

[Yeah we'll see about that. Shion tries to tackle Eve, just to see how his reflexes are right now after being in the cold, barefoot for so long.]

Hey! H-Hey!! [ Nezumi gets mad and tries to fight him back. he's quick, like he's used to fighting people. he gets Shion onto the ground, holding his arm up against the other's neck ]

You're not taking me to them! I know what you're trying to do!!

[ Liv had been in the process of heading home when she spotted him. ]

Hey, are you lost?

[ And.. homeless, she's guessing. That's not good. ]

[ he looks up at the other. his face his dirty and there are still tears on his cheeks. he goes to wipe them off with his hands ]

Yeah, kinda... This doesn't look like my home.

[ And Tay decided Liv should be involved in this event too so Liv looks like this right now, as a side note. ]
