[ When the video turns on, it is at an odd angle, hushed voices being just picked up. ]

"Is she gone yet?" "Not yet. Wait a sec."

[ And then the sound of a door closing, followed by mischievous giggling. The angle of the feed changes, this time showing a Lucy, smiling happily, brown eyes bright. ]

Hello everyone in Fayren, Genessia and more! If you don't know me, I'm Fairy Tail's Lucy, and I'd like to wish each and every one of you a very happy Valentine's Day. Of course, wishes aren't enough, so today only, I'm offering a free kiss to anyone who responds to this post! Aa, but if you see me on the street then you can collect on that offer of a kiss too. It's a special day for lovers, after all!

[ And she winks, coyly. ]

[ Lucy would be found in Genessia City mostly, picking up flowers to decorate the newly build Fairy Tail guild hall. She's also clueless to the massive, massive trolling that a certain Spirit just caused. She's in a pretty good mood, if a little jumpy at times. Distracted too, mostly with thoughts about the day and a certain person. In her other arm she carried some foody type ingredients for cooking. She's never too busy to say hi or make a friend though! ]

[ OOC: So yeah, Gemini decided to play a prank and copy Lucy's form while she was out. The actual Lucy will be a very confused summoner if someone takes Gemini-Lucy up on her suggestion though. By which I mean, feel free to harass Lucy, mwahaha. ]

[Well they would overcome that hurdle when they got to it. Honestly having to explain stuff was so troublesome. ]

[Is there something else LUcy wanted to say. Hmmmm Oh maybe it's that!]

Oh I know. It's probably best if you don't go outside again today. Who knows how many people saw that message.

[ It was! She wished she didn't have to explain anything to anyone at all. Whatever it was between them after all. ]

I - [ Wait what? OH. Ohgod she'd actually forgotten about that message. ] You can't be serious - I can't just hide in here all day.

[ Actually she can. It was cozy, and she had a few books - and more importantly Natsu was with her. Though she could hardly expect him to stay with her. He wouldn't want to be cooped up in the room all day.

[He growls under his breath closing his eyes tight with a frown as he tries to think.]

Mmmmm but I don't want anyone pushy coming up to you asking for that kiss.

[Once again a bit too blunt with that stance.]

But if you really have to go out again, I'm coming with you, at least.

[ Extremely blunt. She could easily take as him just being as protective as ever, but.. she can't quite hide that slight smile nonetheless. ]

You don't, huh... [ She murmurs faintly. That bluntness - she didn't know what to do about him sometimes. ]

Well... I don't have to go anywhere yet, anyway. [ She glanced down at her lap, absently, almost nervously, pressing her hands against her knees, trying to ignore that blush that kept coming up. ]

I'm glad that you found me first, though. [ Found her first and responded first. She could ignore everyone else. ]

[Now if only he'd be like that with EVERYTHING.]

[He heard her murmur but he was a little puzzled by her shy shuffling and even her heartbeat was quickening a bit. It's his turn to reach shyly though when she says she's happy he found her first.]

I always will. No matter what.

[ If only! .. wait, that would make it even harder for her to deal wth him. She glanced towards him at his words, her smile warming. ]

I believe it. [ She took a breath, telling her heart to stop the rapid beating. Not that it ever listened to her. But she got up off of the bed. ]

I have something for you. [ Chocolates! And not store-bought, but the kind she made last time. Which...might be part of why she's blushing so much right now. ]

[How so? At least it would all be in the open, all the pieces of the puzzle for someone else to put together.]

You do?

[WIth all of the commotion he'd kind of forgotten what day it is. Either way he's both interested and a little unintentionally hopeful about whatever Lucy has for him.]

[ That someone else would take less time to put the pieces of the puzzle together than them. Lucy grinned. That reaction was cute too, honestly. Padding over to where she'd left the chocolates, she pulled out the heart-shaped box. She didn't specifically pick it out that way. HOnest! It just happened to be heart shaped! ]

Yeah. Here!

[ She reclaimed her seat next to him, box in her hands. She studies it for a moment or two, thoughts elsewhere, nods a little to herself, and ...sets it aside instead of giving it to Natsu. She's a CHOCOLATE-TEASER. ]

[Probably. It's easier for an observer after all. He saw the heartshaped box but given this wasn't his first valentine with Lucy he wasn't as confused. He's about to accept the box from her when she decided to just put it aside for the moment. Lucy is supposed to give that to him so he doesn't press it.]

So that's why you were out shopping.

[ She might want to give him something else first. She paused, sheepish. ]

Actually . . . those are because I wanted to buy flowers for the guild, and the chocolates for Erza. .. I made yours. I know you like it hot -- spicy. And since they don't sell something like that ...

[ Well, more like she wouldn't allow someone else's chocolates be used for his Valentine gift. ]

[His eyes widened a little when he heard Lucy's answer.]

Wait you made the chocolate for me...yourself?

[To say that he was touched would be an understatement. Something made by Lucy would always be more special than anything.]

[ Oh gosh Natsu that reaction. Lucy's smile widened, and she nodded at him, for some reason feeling shy to admit that. she shouldn't - she cooked for him all the time in Exsilium, and she made chocolates the first time too so... why did it feel different now of all times? ]

Yeah. It was.. I didn't want it to be something bought from a store, for you.

[ She studied his face for a minute longer than she needed to, dropping her gaze quickly. Aagh, she's losing her nerve. ]

[Yeah she always did cook. But that didn't make this any less special. ]

Oh. I bet it's really good then. After all you made it with your own hands.

[He's smiling so brightly right now. He just can't keep it in how happy it makes him. Especially knowing he's the one getting her home cooked chocolate. And none of the tame stuff he got back in Earthland just for tradition's sake.

...

[ Ghk. That smile. He's smiling that smile again augh. Heart hammering against ribcage. She caught her breath slightly, glancing away from that happy smile she was positive was going to melt her into a puddle of spirit mage. ]

Natsu... [ She paused, picking up the box of chocolates, fingers toying with the edge and fighting with herself between saying something more or just shoving the box at him and leaving it at that. Because when he smiled at her like that... augh. ]

[He's never going to stop. Even if he knew he would still smile like that when happy. And Lucy does make him the happiest. So it's inevitable.]

mmm?

[He naturally responds to her murmuring of his name, tilting his head curiously.]

[ Unfaair. Well at least he wasn't smiling that to deliberate make her melt, and just because he was happy. And likewise he made her happiest so she really wouldn't complain about that kind of thing. Except... ]

I..

[ Except it made her want to do things she really REALLY oughtn't. Like reach over with her free hand to curl against his cheek, throwing caution to the wind and leaning forward to kiss him. ]

[He can't help it. Nor would he if he had the option. Fighting with people, hanging out with Lucy. These were the things he loved doing the most. Even so he can feel the atmosphere changing more than a bit. And the fact that Lucy is drawing out her message like that is only adding to it.]

What?

[He's a little confused but not put off by the change. Just puzzled and a bit lost.]

[ She didn't mind that he liked hanging out with her. She loved being with him too. Even during battles, or goofing off, and all. She glances away for a moment, looking down at the box under her hand. She's.. probably quiet for too long before settling the box on his lap. ]

Happy Valentine's Day.

[ All that tension for three little words? ... well, no. But he might be distracted from the box on his lap by her leaning over to act on her thoughts, one arm going around his neck and bringing her lips against his, ignoring that little voice flailing at her. She could have left it at the chocolates but..she just really, really wanted to kiss him just then, so. ]

[His puzzlement only grows from there until he feels the box placed in his lap.]

Oh th-!!!

[She completely catches him off guard but somehow that doesn't scare him off. She doesn't even have to pull him all that hard before he leans in so she can press her lips to his. It's a simple press of lips but it's enough to make him explode with the sensations running rampant through his body, His fingers flex and close for a few beats before relaxing completely along with his eyelids slowly drifting shut as he loses himself in the moment. He lifts his free hand up and gently touches Lucy's cheek, warm fingertips skirting over her smooth skin with reverent touches.

Somewhere in the spirit world there is likely a boss with a pointy nose watching all of this with a sly smirk.]

[ He certainly was. And looking so smug, pupupuning with self satisfaction. He was also giving Gemini headpats, traumatized or not, they still did good! ]

[ As for Lucy, well, she's relieved the sudden kiss didn't scare him off. She'd been fighting with the urge and worry about it until she decided to just do it and deal with what happened later. Of course when he reacted with relaxing into the kiss, and that light touch and his warmth in general it was hard not to relax against him in turn, fingers twitching slightly against the urge to curl into his hair. ]

[ Something so simple as a touch of lips and everything that came with it felt ...she didn't even know how to put it into words. And she was a writer! Yet when she finally broke the kiss to try and catch her breath, she lingered a little longer, wanting to stay close in that warm personal bubble from the one person that meant most to her. ]

[Indirectly so but beggars can't be choosers.]

[Natsu would've liked for it to last a little longer but when she pulls away he lets out the breath he'd been holding during the kiss.]

I...Is it supposed to start feeling better and better with each one?

[He asks with a slightly flushed cheeks and left a bit short of breath but not because of fatigue.]

[ She wouldn't have minded it lasting longer, but realistically she had to pull back less for the need of air, and more because she was worried she wouldn't want to stop. ]

[ That question. That. Question. She couldn't keep from blushing more, though she felt like a small part of her was pleased. Even though her heartbeat was beating loudly enough to drown out everything else. She could see the flushed cheeks in his face, but she wondered if he felt as deliriously dizzy and short of breath and tempted as she did. ]

U-um..

[ Stop. Stop staring at him. That's not helping. She blinked a few times, snapping the sense back into her brain, before smiling sheepishly. ]

In... In theory, I... guess. [ She should move back. Yes, that is a thing to be done. ]

That's how it is in ..some of the stories I've read, but you're... you're the only one I've ever... kissed, so...

[ Agggh awkward. ]

[That makes two of them. Even if he didn't mind if the kiss stayed as innocent and chaste.]

[That question is something he needs to ask. So he knows if this fluttering and burning heat inside is normal. He's uncertain but hearing Lucy's answer and once again knowing he's the only one to have kissed her.]

Well it is for me. What about...for you?

[He's just trying to make sure he's on the right track here.]

[ WHY must he ask questions like that!? Okay she knows why but still. WHY. At this point Lucy felt like she was going to be flushed red forever. Her mouth opens and closes a few times, with no sound coming out until she swallowed back a lump in her throat, nodding slowly. ]

... yeah. For... For me too.

[ She cannot believe she's having this conversation. ...well it's her own fault for kissing him, so karma? Though it was pretty enlightening in its own way too. ]

[Because he's Natsu and some things he just needs to be told and she's the only one who can.]

[However her answer has a bigger effect on him than even he expects. Did you have enough of that smile yet? No? Then here have one of the brightest ever.]

I'm happy to hear that. Really um happy.

[Words. Words are kinda eluding him and while he has a hunch he should be saying something more fitting he really can't think of anything better. For now.]
