My extended trip to the Dream Docks is over. Considering it took me two hours to make it home after I ended up in a Nova City parking lot and some back alley in Everglade, I'm guessing something fun happened while I was gone.

I'm still not convinced I'm in the right apartment either considering my new roommate's decision to make his next start up an interior design firm with my entire apartment being his first experiment. Another 20 minutes just to find my blender that I'll never get back in life. [ At least that cayenne-chocolate milkshake with a sliced red pepper along the edge of the glass looks good. Worth it? Maybe. It's definitely making her feel better. ] I don't think anyone ever taught him about personal boundaries.

[ Liv takes a sip of the drink, which is already half gone. A week is a long time not to eat properly. ]

To those who saw me toward the beginning of the month: I decided the look just wasn't me anymore. I'm-

[ Is Liv just staring off into space for a moment? Yes she is. Oops. Liv's breath comes out like she'd been holding it, then she shakes her head. ]

Wow. I haven't had brain freeze since I was 14. [ A little smile pulls to her lips. ]

Anyone want to fill me in on what I missed? Or potentially have plans I can horn in on tonight? My schedule's relatively clear for the next couple days since I wasn't sure how long I'd need to take off from work for this.

Yeah, I know. Deals with the Devil rarely work out in anyone's favor other than the devil himself.

Do I need to be watching him here?

Without him there's no chance of ever finding a cure. The cure he and Major were given is temporary. It's less a deal with the devil and more mutual necessity. Chances are while he's here he'll end up like me again. Then we really need to watch him, because if he can change others he will.

I'll follow your lead, Liv. [That's all he really could do. It wasn't like the guy had done anything yet.]

But you know, what you do in your world..you do good work. You make the most of your situation and help help find closure. I think you're probably the first ever Zombie to do that.

Considering I'm one of the first ever real zombies in my world, I doubt I'll be going down in the zombie history books as a pioneer of my time. It helps me not feel as disgusting about myself and it lets me give something back to the victims I eat. I'm the only one who has the chance to. Everyone else is stuck on Blaine's meal plans.

That's probably a good thing. If there is a sudden increase in blond and pale "psychics", your secret could end up getting out.

From what I gather from Blaine, most zombies engage in rigorous spray tans and hair dye anyway.

So aside from the mundane details of my day-to-day, did we get anything about how the Dream Docks work?

From what I can tell, though you feel like you actually go back and live through that stuff, it is just memories being dumped into your mind. Connecting to your mind obviously got me the memories too, if I wasn't psychic, I don't know what sort of state I would be in. Your memories would just be so mixed up with my own.

I'm guessing it is all computerized some how, because it didn't feel like your mind was connected to any other person's.

Sorry about the memories, but thanks for doing that. It means a lot.
