Intro Post
WHO: Blake Belladona and anyone who wants to run into our new arrival
WHAT: Disoriented, confused and trying to make a game plan. (Sorry RWBY people, she's going to keep her head down until she thinks it's safe to reveal herself because she's Blake. >_>)
WHEN: Late evening, Feb. 14th
WHERE: Fayren,The Drunken Monkey
WARNINGS:N/A
[Blake kicked open the pod she was encased in and wasted no time jumping out, Gambol Shroud at the ready. She tried to stay focused, but with everything she'd been through waking up in a pod in some strange cave was the last thing that her nerves needed. Her hand was shaking on her weapon. Her last memory was of the shame and self-blame for what happened to Yang eating away at her until she had come to a decision.
She had to get as far away from everyone as she could. She knew that Adam had been turning into a monster for some time, but she had never imagined that he hated her this much or that he would go this far. Every one of her friends had a target on their backs so long as he had a score to settle with her. And she couldn't take seeing anyone else hurt because of her. So, she had fled. She had no plan on what to do or where to go. If Adam had become this insane he may already be planning to have her tracked down and there was no way in hell she was letting anyone else get dragged into it this time. She felt a cold stone settle in her stomach as she realized that he might already have found her. She still had no idea of how she had ended up in that pod. Or what town or city she was even in.
*An hour later...
She was still shaken up by seeing Weiss of all people on the video. Her heart had felt a stab of something that almost felt like homesickness and she had to clamp down on her impulse to contact her friend. She almost had, then like a coward, snapped the device shut. She just couldn't face them right now. And besides, who knew who else had been brought here?
And so, she was sitting with a stone necklace on and no plan after grumpily assuring the dubious bartender that she did indeed, really just ask for a pint of milk. She winced as she sipped her drink, a sharp pain reminding her of the parting gift her old comrade in arms had left her with. At least it wasn't bleeding. ]

Blake's eyes tracked the orb as it moved on instinct. She tried to ignore the instinct and focus. "Just because people have their own idea about what a monster is, doesn't make them right. But I'm glad you feel that way."

Koishi was close again, eyeball nudging her shoulder again. The blue skin had rather tough leathery texture to it and the sphere itself was firm but had a small amount of give. Like very rigid cartilage. It seemed to have a very faint air around it, both chilly and calming, and was likely the source of her power.
"Well, I mean, many of us are creatures literally born from and feed on the pain and fear of humans in various forms. If that's not a monster, I dunno what is. But the though is sweet. I like you, Miss. You are sweet and you have a pretty mind."

Blake's brow crinkled with concern as she asked that question. "It seems out of place for a monster to appreciate things that are...um...sweet and pretty."

"Well, not always pain or fear. But there's almost always some sort of negativity that creates us. But that's also not all we are. Like... I'm a satori. I am the fear of getting lost in the mountains and attacked by carnivorous beasts or monsters, but I'm also the protection of those who live and work on the mountain and know how to respect it and I am the merrymaking and storytelling one experiences around a campfire." A small laugh. "And then I bend my own rules so I can be more civil. That's why I like the bay. I find people who are lost, ill-equipped, and alone. Everyone new. But I like helping them instead. It's more polite."
She at least had calmed down quite a bit now, drifting down to perch on a stool. Now that she wasn't floating it became even more apparent how short she was. Oddly enough those around her hadn't really acknowledged her presence. You'd think someone would have a fit a child-like creature was in a bar, but considering how difficult it had been for Blake to see her initially, it might have something to do with that.
"You seem to have a lot of thoughts about monsters though and how they should act. Are there monsters where you come from?"

That was why she had joined the White Fang before they became so extreme. She wanted to protect her people and change the world into a place where humans and faunus could live in mutual respect. When Adam began to become more and more violent, she would look at brochures of the schools for young huntresses and hunters and wonder if there was something else she could do, a way out of a life that was starting to conflict with her ideals. Beacon had just been the closest. She never imagined it would have the impact on her life that it did.
"The monsters in our world are called Grimm," she explained. "They have no soul and though they are drawn in my negative emotions, they most certainly would never help anybody and they don't exactly inspire merrymaking. In fact, that's the kind of thing they'd try to destroy."

Koishi turned a little, blinked, and looked down. She spun once around on the stool giggling. "Well I don't have a soul either Miss. But I am a spirit creature so I suppose it would be awkward if I had one since I don't really have a 'body' either. Our souls are our bodies and vise versa."
She held out a hand, catching herself on the bar and turning back toward Blake. "Those monsters sound really awful though. More like rabid beasts than anything else. If a monster wants to feed on fear they just need to scare some people and spread rumors. Maybe attack someone and let them get away so they 'think' they barely got away with their life. Sis and I used to do it. It worked really well."
