ACTION; at the dream docks
[ The first thing Weiss had done when she woke up, after just sitting for a moment, had been to check her phone. Mayu's text was the first thing that she saw about Torchwick, so that was an issue she had to address as soon as she could. A look back at what she'd missed made it clear that he was going after Ruby and Weiss wouldn't let that happen. She needed to go home and see everyone. Now. She needed to make sure that when she walked in, she'd still be able to see the faces of those they'd lost.

Then.. then she'd figure it out. Weiss didn't have the luxury of sitting home crying, not here. She had work to do. She had to find some way to fix this. Aaand she also needed to make sure that the City Guardian's office hadn't gone to shambles because she left it in the hands of her Deputies who had just met that day. She couldn't mourn. She'd have enough time to do that alone, at home, back in Atlas.

Here she just had to find the people she cared about and protect them. If that meant coming down on crime a hundred times harder than normal, then so be it. Weiss too a deep breath, not checking if Sun and Jaune were awake yet, and turned her device to post. ]

This is Nova City Guardian Weiss Schnee speaking.

As of this moment, Roman Torchwick is considered a wanted fugitive. I'll offer level 5 payment as a bounty, direct from the City Guardian office. I would encourage other City Guardians to list him as a high-profile criminal as well. Torchwick's list of crimes includes murder, theft, kidnapping, torture, evading the law and that's just from his previous experience in Genessia. Back home he's done much, much worse.

If you do not have experience fighting, do not approach him. Keep in mind that to keep him alive, you'll need to break his aura but not go beyond that except to disable him. I don't care what state you bring him in provided that he's alive and secure. No one's getting paid for killing him because killing him still means he's free. Anyone found aiding, abetting, harboring, or hiding information about Roman Torchwick is considered a criminal and will be dealt with appropriately.

ACTION; Open to Remnant House / Anyone who wants to visit?
[ Once Weiss had left the Dream Docks, she went home to change clothes and check everyone's rooms. Chances were, those who didn't know what was going on would've just been going about their lives normally, maybe at work or off doing whatever errands, but she still just wanted to see if anyone was home. She wanted to see anyone. She wasn't even bothering with privacy, instead just peeking her heads into doors as she knocked. ]

[ She pauses briefly, sighing. ] Dracula's the closest thing to someone who's been causing real problems lately, and he's... I don't know. He's tried to help me before.

Doesn't mean they won't or haven't already popped back up again you know?

As for Dracula...well it's nice that he helped you out, but from what I heard of the news surrounding Everglade...I don't think he's someone we can really trust or rely on.

Again, aware of it. But you're going to get paranoid if you constantly assume that Torchwick has allies everywhere.

I'm not saying we should trust him, but I get the distinctive feeling he wouldn't be likely to side with Torchwick. Even if Torchwick's definitely one kind of monster.

To be fair, from the fact that a lot of us seemed to have come out badly injured after...whatever happened? I'm going to assume some pretty bad shit's gone down.

Well that's good to know. Though having two monsters to have to deal with doesn't make it any easier.

[ She nods in agreement. ] We'll figure it out, Yang.

[Yang nods as she pulls Weiss back into a hug again, though at least she's minding her strength this time.]

I'm just glad that from all this, you all seem to be alive. [Not okay, alive. Okay can be worked on.]

[ Nope, Weiss is done with hugs! ONE AND DONE, YANG, ONE AND DONE. You've exceeded your hug quota. ]

I'm both alive and okay, Yang. I'm not jumping for joy but it's everyone else I'm worried about at this point.

Well...don't forget to look after yourself too. No sense in getting everyone else worrying over you if you overwork yourself.

With the number of people who tell me that before I actually do anything, it's literally impossible.

[Yang nods her head as she moves to pick up the apple and knife again, peeling the fruit casually.]

Good. I know you Weiss. If anything you'd probably try to push yourself into your work if only to distract yourself or to try and fix it alone.

Heh...you're kinda like Blake was that way with the whole Torchwick search.

I'm nothing like Blake when she goes full-Blake. [ Full-Blake: The act of driving yourself completely nuts over something you have zero control or responsibility over to the point of looking like a sleep-deprived psych patient. ] Believe me, I have plenty of fun, I don't cut myself off, and I may work a lot, but it's because it's my job to. I didn't get elected as City Guardian to take spa days every time I don't feel good. If everyone would kindly stop assuming I can just goof off all the time no matter what mood I'm in, that would be great. I've been here for two years and it's getting a little annoying that everyone thinks I can't handle myself.

Perhaps not, but if everyone's assuming it, there's gotta be some measure of truth. We're not saying go goof off and spend all day doing nothing but spa treatments. [Or at least invite Yang along.] I just mean that sometimes it feels like you simply throw yourself into work and don't give yourself time to relax even if it's just to go to the park or have a nice meal.

[A shrug and Yang's now got a peeled apple she's biting into.]

But hey, if you're good, then I'll trust you. It's what teammates are for right?

[ In Blake's defense, Weiss grew up with her father causing the worst trouble but still not cutting off her friend's arms. ]

Name the last time you actually saw me overwork myself and not give myself time to spend time doing other things. Because I can guarantee you it's been a long while. And the last time something bad happened people kept intentionally shoving work at me to try to keep me distracted.

Don't ask me. I've only been here for a few months. Others have been around longer and know you for longer.

Like I said though, if you say your alright I trust you.
