[ She waves, giving a brief smile. ] I'm Yuri, or Yurippe, but if you try to come up with another nickname for me I'm not going to respond to it since one weird nickname I'm already used to is enough. I just got here and I want to be a kindergarten teacher. [ She's got experience with schools and kids. Not necessarily teaching kids, but it can't be that hard. ] I impersonated a teacher once, I've spent more time in a school than anyone I've ever met, and am older than I look. They're not going to turn me down are they?

[ Never let it be said she doesn't get down to business. ]

Do people end up here if they think really hard about moving to a foreign country and can't decide which one they want a lot?

Nothing good ever came from your involvement. Now we're going to find a way to squish the bad down, then you're going to think about what you can do to try to make up for things.

That is impossible. It will only ever end with my death. And even then, humanity has been influenced far too much by evil. The same evil that allows someone like me to exist.

[tenminutes]

My boyfriend essentially brought me back from the dead by making a wish and a deal with a cat girl. "Impossible" is the stupidest thing anyone could ever say. I'm not saying we're going to make everyone happy or that it's even possible to get close to making up for what you did. It's still really important that you try though.

I blamed myself for my brother and sisters being murdered in front of me. If I'd never done anything, I would have been condemned to the afterlife until I went completely insane. I know a thing or two about at least trying.

If anything, the idea that resurrection is possible is discouraging to me. In the previous world I was in, I had thought that I could finally die. And then I was told that even if it were possible, the Initiative would simply bring me back to life.

[ He doesn't even know how that is possible. In his own world, bringing the dead back to life is a very tall order, magic or no magic. ]

I'm very sorry that happened to you. [ And he is. Zeref isn't without sympathy. ] But so long as I live, the world will never be at peace.

I know. I'm telling you, the world won't be at peace whether you're in it or not. So you might as well be a part of it if you're in it.

[deathsought]

[ Zeref paused for almost a full minute upon reading that. Several things started returning to his mind. Memories that have been haunting him ever since he awoke in this world. "People hate, and evil causes conflict." The words started ringing in his ears again. "But I'm looking forward to a new age that will purify all of this." ]

I've thought about that, before.

[ Zeref wipes his face off on the back of his sleeve, and continues typing. ]

But I guess that doesn't matter, here. This isn't my world.

I've seen hundreds of worlds. It never stops because of one person, even if we'd like to believe it could.

But you're right, it's not your world! So stop being mopey, we're going to figure this out and then I'm going to visit your campsite.

[deathsought]

If you are really going to insist on this, I won't try to stop you. I only ask that you be careful. You'll know what I mean once you see the dead trees.

It'd be pretty laughable if I was afraid of dead things.

You should be more afraid of how they died.

Pain doesn't bother me either. The only thing that does is exactly my number one motivation for wanting to help you control your powers.

[deathsought]

My magic usually doesn't cause pain.

[ It's actually more of a 'dead before you hit the ground' kind of deal. ]

But if you are going to insist on this... I guess there is little I can do to stop you.

[tenminutes]

There isn't, so don't worry about it too much. I just do whatever I want most of the time.

Thanks, but I don't like relying on luck. Luck's the one thing that never works out.
