Should she go into the daylight?! Should she stay where she is? Okay look, she's terrified and just considering her options here and also stepping to the water isn't a good idea; 1) her clothes are getting soaked and 2) if she's trying to be quiet, walking there doesn't really help and she might as well scream. She's definitely not screaming though, that'd be too much noise considering she has no idea what's going on.

Really? What kind of magic if you don't mind my asking? I come from a really small and quiet town in the countryside myself, so even Genessia is a culture shock. It could be worse if I hadn't gone anywhere from home... I guess I should check the other cities too, and I will, but Nova sounds like a great place to start.

[Let's jump to her favorite topic, or at least it's her favorite when her work as an engineer is concerned. She could be surprised that people here don't know what it is, but then different worlds and all and she still doesn't know that it's only called that in Amestris.]

It's a term for automotive armored prostheses -- or prosthetic limbs, that act much like the person's normal arm. That's because automails are linked directly to their nervous system, so anyone with them can move theirs at will.

They're good for showers and bathing as long as you dry them well afterwards. Swimming in deeper waters is impossible though, you would drown very soon even with the lighter models. So please no swimming with them. I'm really, really sorry.
