Who: Wendy Marvell + Open
When: March 31st, 2014
Where: Anywhere
What: Wendy wakes up to an unfamiliar world and unfamiliar smells and tastes. She doesn't quite know what to do and she's severely injured and drained of magical abilities for the time being.

In the middle of this place somewhere, appears yet another Dragon Slayer, tired, exhausted, and unconscious. Her clothes were torn and ripped in various different directions. No one could say that she didn't put up a strong enough of a fight. All she recalled in her consciousness was the fact that Charle and her were able to stop Face. That was all it mattered. They did what they must in order to save the world, yet somehow the air smelled different.

It smelled different, and it tasted different. The air spoke of many different things,and she slowly cracked an eye opened, though she wasn't expecting a wash of sunlight to temporarily shine in her face. Where was here? It didn't smell like her world and it wasn't Edolas. It was a whole different place. The girl stayed where she was for a moment, unsure how to get up, while looking at the sky.

They did it right? They stopped Face?

"Charle...?"

"L-Lucy-san?"

Her voice was weak, but Wendy, managed to pull herself together and sit up, wincing a bit, due to the injuries. It wasn't something she couldn't heal, once she recovered her magic. She was relieved to see Lucy if anything, though Wendy's eyes darted around the unknown vicinity for Charle. Where was Charle?! She couldn't possibly have-- could she? Wendy's relief suddenly became a bit more concerned.

She could also smell Natus as well as other scents she recognized after waking up.

Alerted her by suddenly standing up, hands on the table and sniffing the air. He then told Regina to look after things and promptly dragged Lucy after him even if she was going to follow. It was faint but the scent was unmistakable. However the closer the got the more he could pick up another more worrying scent. That of blood.

He rushed onto the scene and quickly followed the scent he rest of the way until he finally came across her. "Wendy!" He cried out and quickly ran over to her, holding her up gently since it looked like she'd barely managed to sit up straight.

Like she wouldn't follow! Still it was a good thing he did drag her after him, she would have probably been left behind as the pace he set. She thought the urgency was because he missed seeing their friend, but when she reached the bay and actually saw Wendy's state...

"Wendy! Wha-What happened!?" Was she injured by Jackal too? Wait no, questions can be answered later - more important to get Wendy safely home where she could rest and recuperate.

"N-Natsu-san..."

Her voice was still weak, but it was easier to sit up with his help. She heard Lucy and then she saw Natsu not too far from Lucy's voice. She smiled weakly, content to find that Lucy and Natsu were safe. That also meant the other members of Fairy Tail were okay too right?

Still, in this situation, her eyes were still darting around trying to find Charle. She felt really uneasy that her Exceed was nowhere to be seen.

"F-Face...Charle and I-- we..." she winced. Everything was hazy when she woke up but it was starting to come together again, "Charle--where's Charle?"

Natsu couldn't help but frown worriedly hearing her speak so weakly. Face and Charle. Though the most troubling thing was Charle since like Happy it appeared she did not accompany them to this place. As a Dragonslayer he knew how much that could hurt but he also knew it would be even more painful for Wendy since they had been together for so long whereas Natsu always had the others in the guild as well as Happy.

"Take it easy, Wendy. We'll explain everything after we get you back to the guild." Natsu said and moved to pick the little dragonslayer up in his arms.

It hurt to see Wendy in that state, and her voice - Lucy glanced quickly at Natsu, then back to Wendy as he picked up the younger girl. "Shh, save your strength Wendy. Charle .. I'm sure Charle is just fine. But right now you need to rest - like Natsu said, we'll explain things when we get back to the guild." And she was resting on a bed and not a stinky ol' pod.

Not to mention Charle and Wendy had activated the Destruction Spell to destroy Face. It made it harder for her to remain calm thinking about that, because they promised to always be together and Wendy wasn't prepared to part from that promise, yet. Clearly, she was in too much pain to argue. If Natsu and Lucy said they would explain, she would trust them.

She was too weak to struggle, so she stayed there, fragile in Natsu's arms, only nodding her head to Lucy's words. If she said they were okay, Wendy would believe it. She didn't think that Natsu and Lucy would lie to her. They were her friends, and her family. She bit back tears.

"Okay..."

She might have tried to hold her tears back but he could smell them right there on the brink of spilling down her cheeks. It only served to anger him really. But he kept it in check as he made the journey back with her at a brisk and quick pace.

Eventually they arrived at the guild and when the others saw them coming through the main door they quickly rushed to their side seeing Natsu carry the young girl in his arms.

"We need to get her into one of the spare rooms and get her cleaned up and patched up."

They would never, ever lie to Wendy, that was for sure. As they made their way to the guild, Lucy kept casting anxious glances at the other girl, worried. She'd exhausted herself, physically, magically and emotionally that much was obvious.

WIth some rest she should hopefully be well enough to tell them what had happened, and they could tell her what was going on here, but that was taking a huge backseat to her condition. Regina was puttering about at the bar when Natsu came in with his charge, and she didn't question the request one little bit.

"There's a room next to Erza's that you can use," Lucy noted to the other woman, "I'll help you." Two hands working were better than one after all. Regina made no move to take Wendy from him - he'd probably prefer to carry her there himself, given how protective he looked towards the girl.

Even if he smelled it, she was trying to be strong for everyone, for herself, and for Charle. She wants to believe that Charle is okay somewhere and safe. She wanted to really believe that. She doesn't know where they're taking her but it will be a safe place. She could eat the air around her and quickly recover, but the injuries still would need healing. If she restored her magic, she would have to use it again to heal herself.

She curled up in Natsu's arms as they tried to find a room for her. She also noticed how Lucy was giving her really worried glances and she tried her best to reassure the Celestial Mage that she was fine.

Honestly given how torn up she was, he certainly wouldn't have thought any less of her if she decided to just let it all out and cry. But he could also tell what she was trying to do. So instead he just carried her up to the room Lucy and Regina prepared for her.

Regina was right no not trying to take Wendy from him. He always did feel protective of the little dragon slayer and she in turn had always looked up to him to some degree. It was about as close to a sibling like relationship Natsu had ever experienced.

Once the room was ready, Natsu walked in and laid Wendy down on the bed, gently.

Lucy smiled back at Wendy. She's knows you're trying to be strong - are strong - but she's still going to worry about you! She worries about her strongest nakama the most, even though they don't need it. They tend to get reckless, sometimes.

Once Wendy was settled on the bed, Regina started to bustle about, handing Lucy some herbs to brew for tea while she started to clean Wendy's wounds. Quick, efficient and silent - though Lucy opted to cheat a little. Instead of going all the way back downstairs and waiting for the water to boil, she fetched some from the sink and padded over to Natsu. Here, since your hands are now free you can heat the water for Wendy's tea right?

She knew that, but it didn't stop her from trying to be strong. She knew that her resolve was always a bit weaker than most. She would never really engage in anything violent unless she had no other choice or if she had to protect he friends and family. Not to say that Natsu and everyone else were violent. They were very strong and she looked up to them in more ways than one.

Wendy didn't understand the concept of what siblings felt like or what family felt like in general, but Grandeeney, Natsu, Lucy, and everyone else, they were her family and she was grateful for them and grateful for their understanding. Once settled in bed, Wendy took in her surrounding. The room was different and everything was different. She could smell the lingering scents of the people that lived here, including those she was not familiar with.

She sits up, seeing she could still do that. There was silence on her end, because she didn't know what to say. She was relieved to see that they were safe and sound. Wendy weakly returned the smile to Lucy moments later when she was tucked into the bed. She would at times wince from the disinfectants but didn't make any move to withdraw herself from Lucy as she did her work. While Lucy tended to her wounds, the younger Dragon Slayer started taking in the air around her, since it would at help replenish her magic.

"Lucy-san...Natsu-san, what's going on?"

She finally mused after a few moment of silence.

Honestly she didn't have anything to prove to Natsu or anyone else. Time and time again she'd shown the bravery and determination to honor and protect fairy tail. Even during the Grand Magic games and after that. But he could certainly respect her decision.

Still he had promised answers and that was exactly what Wendy would get.

"Well seems like we've ended up in another world again. Sorta like Edolas but not as much of a pain in the ass since we've got our magic working just fine."

With a nod, Lucy confirmed Natsu's words - Edolas. Jeez that seemed like years ago compared to what was going on now. "Erza, Natsu and I all got pulled here by...someone, no one seems to know who. But we've been here for a few months now. It's probably hard to believe though." She grinned sheepishly, "You probably just saw us only a little while ago, right?"

She's stubborn, so it's hard to convince her otherwise when she sets her mind to it. Sorry there, Natsu. At least, she's not fighting them right now and letting them take care of her injuries and such. It's true that she has done all that, but Wendy wants to continue proving herself, because she wants to be just as strong as they are one day.

She looked up to them.

"A world like Edolas...but w-we can use our magic."

Wendy repeated, nodding her head. It explained the oddities of the smells and tastes of this world.

Edolas was so many years away, yes.

"Y-Yes, Lucy-san was fighting and Charle and I-- went to...Face."

She trailed off for a moment.

You found face?!" Natsu exclaimed surprised. After all the last thing he remembered was passing out after Jackal blew him up with his curse. But if she'd managed to find face then that only further reinforced that he somehow defeated that damn pointy eared bastard.

Lucy glanced sharply towards Wendy in surprise when she mentioned finding Face. But what really concerned her is what happened there - given Wendy's state and how worried she was about Charle..

Lucy flicked a quick glance at Natsu before turning back to Wendy with a warm smile. "That's great, Wendy! I know we could rely on you if you and Charle found it." Not wanting the girl to dwell on missing Charle too long, she added, "You're further along than either of us. There's something strange that goes on with the timeline when we're pulled here - time stops for us, sort of. The last thing I remember is going with you, Natsu and the cats to find the Councilman - and Natsu said he encountered that demon, Jackal."

"L-Lucy-san we--we didn't just find it. Charle...she put a self destruct spell on Face-- and w-we activated it together."

Wendy replied looking down. Charle had said their future was blank. Wendy didn't understand what that meant, but she knew that it would be the end of the line for them. They would get caught in the destruction, and she knew it was foolish to die for such a cause but everyone was trying so hard.

Charle and her were fine with sacrificing themselves to save the ones they cared about, even if it means they'll no longer be there to help them.

"E-Everyone?!"

She seemed shocked by the words that were coming from Lucy. She didn't want to believe it, but judging by what Lucy was saying, she wasn't lying.

"I see--Lucy-san you told me to find Face and Charle and I went for it while you fought off one of the demons."

Activate together and destroyed Face? That...didn't sound like a happy end and given how she looked away. She was hiding something. But for now he wanted to make sure of what her knowledge was limited to.

"So after you activated the spell, you woke up here?" Natsu would certainly not believe that wendy and Charle would die like that. No way in a million years.

Lucy wasn't liking the way Wendy was looking away either, to be honest. A self destruct spell... obviously Wendy would be worried about things. But she and Charle, they were both so strong together. Thinking that either of them could possibly have fallen -

Nope, not happening. "So that's how it was..." She reached up to smooth her hand over Wendy's hair, "You've been through a really tough time, huh?"

Something that wasn't really all that important, now that she was here. She hoped that Charle would be okay as well. She wanted to believe that and she wanted to have faith in her Exceed, that she would be okay.

"There was a huge explosion because of the spell. I don't...remember anything after that."

She nodded her head as she replied to Natsu. She didn't know what happened but Charle her definitely survived thanks to a certain someone but Wendy didn't know of that yet.

That was exactly why it seemed a bit strange that Wendy was concerned about Charle a lot more.

"...Lucy-san was a big help too. If it weren't for you, we wouldn't have been able to escape to find it."

She replied giving the older girl an embarrassed look.

"You're gonna have to tell us all about that after you heal up. The last thing I did before waking up here was get blow up by Jackal." And he didn't sound happy about that in the least. Why would he. Even if temporary, he was out for the count and that put Lucy in danger of making one of the cruelest choices in her life

"It's because I knew I could count on you and Charle." Lucy smiled at the other girl. That there was an explosion from the spell was worrying but... they were both strong. There was no reason to think the worst about it." She glanced at Natsu, grimacing a little at the reminder, glancing away again. "Natsu's right though. We can catch you up on what's going on here after you rest."

"Y-Yes of course, Natsu-san."

The girl replied nodding her head to Natsu's words. Of course, she would tell him what he needed to know, because she had no reason to hide anything from Natsu. For now the subject of her impending death was out of the question. She didn't know what happened after that but she knew she was alive now, so that was what mattered. She'll keep fighting until then.

"That wasn't too long ago."

She added to that comment. Wendy's face flustered a little at the compliment from Lucy.

"A-Ah, Lucy-san...thank you."

Wendy nodded her head as Lucy agreed to what Natsu saying. She exhausted herself a lot and sleep was calling.
