ESCAPE ROOM DATES
WHO: Anyone who signed up for this event (sign-ups are now closed).
WHAT: Escape Room Dates, brought to you by Aphrodite's Matchmaking!
WHEN: Friday, July 8th around 3pm.
WHERE: Nova City, some warehouse-looking building.
WARNINGS: See individual scenarios for information.
All of the people involved in the escape room dates will arrive in what looks like some kind of abandoned warehouse. Everyone there is then broken up into the following pairs and walked into the warehouse, which looks a lot nicer inside. A couple of NPCs lead your characters to the right areas, then explain the scenario.
Once the scenarios are explained, the doors are locked and the scenario begins! RP with your characters and when your character decides to investigate one of the key items (listed in the scenario under your pair's thread) at which point put the item indicator letter in the subject line along with how your characters decide to interact with the key items! I'll reply with what information they can get from the item or what happens to the item based on whatever your character does.
"Special" events may happen throughout the course of the thread without prompting, so watch out for replies from Emerald. I'll be putting up the scenarios, but once your pair's is posted you're welcome to start the thread.
PAIRS LIST:
Peridot / Konoka

Luke / Adela
Bakura / Gale
Smoker / Relena

Peridot / Konoka
After calling in a favor for a friend, Peridot and Konoka visited Dr. Revivus's neighbor to deliver some forms. Hearing strange sounds, they investigated the door reading "MEDICAL OFFICES OF JEREMY REVIVUS, MD." They take a few steps in too far and the door shuts on its own, locking. At that exact moment, the phone rings and goes directly to the answering machine.
"Hello hello. It looks like someone's been snooping around where they ought not be, hehehe... well, I suppose that's fine. I'll be back in an hour, hang tight until then. Then we'll see about you paying for breaking and entering. I do always need new lab rats!"
Konoka and Peridot have 59 minutes to explore the room and find the way out using clues in the room to locate the key, before Doctor Revivus returns and uses them as lab rats.
In the room to explore, there are a few things of interest:
A. A number of syringes and vials, strange looking things with eyeballs in jars, and a bunson burner.
B. An air conditioner vent.
C. Books detailing the nature of some of Doctor Revivus's experiments.
D. A large door with a caution symbol on it. It appears to be locked.
E. Letters from Doctor Revivus to someone named Maribel.
no subject
"Aahh! We're locked in!" Konoka flailed about for a moment, but then stopped, trying to calm herself down. "Ahh... this isn't what I had in mind for a date." Old habits meant that she was wary of trying magic at the first drop of the hat, so for now she wanted to play along. "But we should at least find a way out. I don't want to stick around for some scientist's experiments."

Jefferson / Crystal
Oh man... Jefferson and Crystal must've drunk far too much last night! Somewhere along the line, they both passed out. When they woke up, the smell of the ocean (frighteningly realistic for being in a warehouse) hit their nostrils like a hard smack to the face. They are both tied with ropes around their wrists tight enough that they're not easy to pull out of without breaking a thumb or two.
The door bangs loudly and suddenly, followed by an even more jarring guffaw as a man in a peg leg saunters through the door, seeming bigger than life itself. He's got long, unkempt hair, an eyepatch, and worn clothes that look as though they've been stolen from a military man and turned to the dark side. Atop his head is a huge hat, bucaneer-esque in nature with a bloodstained feather. The man has a huge scar going down his cheek and smells like he filled his jacuzzi up with rum instead of water. There are a sword and at least two pistols visible on his body.
"Yaarharhar! There be quite the bounty on yer heads. It looks like you two upset t' wrong man last night. I'll be doubloonsin' in, you two sit tight and don't cause trouble. I wouldn't want t' doubloons halved because one o' you took a shortcut t' Davy Jones' locker. We make shore in an hour!"
The pirate captain walks out of the room, the door locking behind him so Jefferson and Crystal are left to their own devices. They have 59 minutes until the ship gets to shore. In the room that they're in, the following key items can be seen:
A. A desk with 9 drawers.
B. A large barrel. Maybe there's rum in it?
C. A strange circle with lines and a ball. Upon closer examination, it appears to be one of those rotateable ball mazes.
D. A lit candelabra.
E. A rope loop on the ceiling.
no subject
He promptly decided that Captain Hook had nothing on that guy.
Only once the threat of being shot in the head or stabbed with a sword was no longer present did he notice Crystal there with him. He squinted at her for a moment before realization hit him. Was this supposed to be a date? He hadn't known it was possible to feel stupid, embarrassed and worried all at once until then. If this was the kind of thing going on with everyone else what the hell had he gotten Dave and Airy into? He bit his lip to refrain from cursing.
"I'm guessing this probably tops the list for the worst date you've ever been on." He looked at Crystal sheepishly, feeling completely horrible that she had to be in this mess with him of all people.

Bucky / Hikaru
The room that Bucky and Hikaru step into is completely dark. The door shuts behind them and there's nothing- no light whatsoever, not at first. Quietly, so quietly, a soprano voice starts singing. The song seems a little sad, longing. After about 30 seconds the lights start flickering rapidly and the voice grows louder and louder until it becomes a deafening screech and the lights brighten on so rapidly that they burst, glass shattering and falling to the floor.
The room goes silent, red back-up generator lights coming on to dimly light the room. It looks like Bucky and Hikaru are in a recording studio. With the red light, it's hard to tell, but it looks like there are splatters of something across the walls. Blood splatter, perhaps?
It doesn't look like there's going to be anyone to introduce the scenario, but it's pretty obvious looking around: They're in an abandoned, haunted recording studio. Written on the wall in what looks like blood, a message says ONE HOUR TO LIVE.
The backup generator lights flicker again, but seem to stay on for now. Bucky and Hikaru may find a few key items in the room...
A. A recording booth with a microphone in it and soundproofed walls.
B. A TV. It appears to be off.
C. A keyboard that seems to be missing a few keys.
D. A file cabinet with four drawers. One of them appears to be locked.
E. A floor vent that's too small to crawl through.
no subject
Well, it couldn't hurt, right? Besides, Hikaru knew well that she was too much of a workaholic lately. So, she didn't really think too much on it. And, who knew? It could turn out to be rather fun. She agreed to go along with it and prepared herself to have a fun time at this date.
...That was until she realized the circumstances they were in. The Protector turned around when the door closed abruptly, only for darkness to settle in. As the voice started to sing, she didn't quite know what to make of this whole situation other than to remain calm and focused. Her hands rested on her ears, covering them to block out the screech while instinctively ducking when the lights shatter.
It doesn't take her more than a few seconds later that Hikaru stood upright, muttering a small incantation under her breath. In an instant, her hand was illuminated in a bright light to help the two of them see even more.
"Sir, are you okay? Nothing's injured, right?"
One hour to live, hm? Well, she's faced worse odds in her life.
Tony / Satsuki
It was just a dare and Tony and Satsuki? They weren't scared. People said that the wax museum was possessed or something and at night the wax creatures came to life, but there was no way. So here they were, in a hallway of wax figures with only the strip lights on the floor lighting the room. Those never turned off, even after they shut down.
Something seems to move in the corner of their eyes, but when they get a good look, it's just a bunch of eerie looking wax figures staring back at them. Looking forward, they notice that all of the wax figures seem to be smiling at them. Were they doing that before..?
There's some thumping noises behind the wall, but it's hard to see what it is. Once Satsuki and Tony travel further into the hall, when they look back they'll see that the entire door now seems to be made of wax instead of a real door. The doorknob falls off and rolls across the floor to their feet.
When was it that it was rumored that the museum came to life to make more living wax figures for the museum? Midnight? A look at the clock says it's 11:02. Better hurry and find a way out... Maybe something in this room can help. What key items are Tony and Satsuki prepared to investigate?
A. The clock.
B. A wax figure of Elvis, who seems to be clutching something in his hand.
C. One of those push-button record boxes that provide information to museum goers. All but one seems to be off.
D. A crack in the wallpaper behind the Nat King Cole wax sculpture.
E. What's that in the corner? It looks like Chucky, only made of wax..
Contrary to popular belief I do, in fact, live.
Strangely enough she isn't upset as she should be (though rest assured she has no intention of letting this mystery go unsolved), as the chosen location is something she's somewhat interested in anyway. It also helps that Tony seems to be an interesting enough guy- It's actually not a problem for her to deal with people who talk a more than she does.
She's adorn in a fancy kimono with a kanzashi decorating her wrapped up hairstyle.
Anyway, the Wax Museum trip has taken a turn for the strange and since she suspects it's Tony's doing she's more annoyed instead of properly spooked- it should be obvious she's far too serious to appreciate pranks. The 'rumors'? He may have started that as well.
Satsuki may be confusing poor Tony for Troy here.
Even after looking around she's still a little suspicious of him as they look around, and eventually murmurs. "So where do you think we should investigate first?"
She decides to 'play along' for now; really.. What's the worst that could happen?

Angelo / Yui
Old man Tanner from the scrapyard has finally lost it.. with all of his scrap metal and junk, he figured out how to put together a device that controls the weather! And he's darned tired of Nova City being the hottest city. Angelo and Yui were on a date at a fancy party when he announced his plans.
"Hah! You whippersnappers are going to just have to learn to deal with the cold! This heat is bad for my bones, get ready for eternal winter!"
Angelo and Yui must make it to the roof to stop old man tanner from activating his machine. Luckily, they have some time because he has to charge it first. (He never was good at thinking ahead.) Unfortunately, the first thing they may have to do is find a way to get through the crowd of party guests and find a way upstairs. The elevator is shut down and the stairs are guarded by some of Tanner's goons and attacking them will alert the whole gang. The best way to do it would be to cause a distraction and sneak past them, but how to do that...
There are a few key items that Angelo and Yui may take a look at to help, before Old Man Tanner plunges Nova City into eternal winter in about 59 minutes.
A. The chandelier in the center of the room. There seems to be a chain that follows along to the side of the room.
B. On the other side of the room is a break-in-case-of-emergency box with a hatchet and a fire extinguisher inside.
C. The buffet table. The top is mostly filled with food and empty champagne glasses.
D. A mysterious looking man with a cloak over his head lurking in the corner of the room.
E. 6 Flower pots located around the room.

Anubis / Levy
"Come out with your hands up and put your weapons on the ground!"
After being mysteriously asked to change into catsuits and armed with water guns, Levy and Anubis were quickly introduced to their scenario. The room they are in is clearly a vault of some kind, with piles of gold bars. Their 'third team member,' a woman with red hair in the same cat suit as they are, explains.
"We got in here to steal this gold... damn, I can't believe our getaway car abandoned us and the feds caught up."
A heavy knocking from the outside of the vault is made before another insistence that they surrender. The woman sighs and does some gymnastics to get up to the air conditioner vent on the ceiling.
"I'll buy you two some time.. try to find a way out of here before they break in and make it to freedom. I'd say it'll take them about an hour to drill through that vault door. The vents only lead into that room, I'll take out as many as I can."
It looks like there are a few key items in the vault besides the gold. Let's see what they've got..
A. A bag left behind by their third partner.
B. A strange panel that seems to be rusted shut.
C. Some smaller vents in the upper corner of the room. They're not big enough to climb through.
D. The vault door's inside panels.
E. A manhole, but it's hidden underneath the heavy gold bricks. It may take some time to get to it...

He feels as if he should approach the other person. He approaches Levy, but still keeps his distance, hugging the water gun to his chest. When he speaks, it's in an ancient language. Levy may or may not be able to understand him depending on if she is open to understanding him.

Luke / Adela
What a vacation! First they explored the local city life, enjoyed local food and museums, then they hiked to the top of a pyramid. They felt like they were at the top of the world until Adela accidentally leaned against a loose brick in the structure. Suddenly, a trap door opened up and swallowed them both! They fell down a stone slide like something out of Ducktales (ooh-woo-ooh!) and landed in a 10x10 room lit by torches, with sand padding their fall.
There's a door to go through, but it's dark and impossible to see what lies ahead. The tour guide ahead had mentioned something about the Pharoah for this pyramid being very crafty, creating traps and all sorts of things to keep pillagers out. And then there was the curse, but who believes in those?
Footsteps can be heard in the dark corridor ahead.
Who.. believes in curses, right? It's better to just find a way out of here... Let's check out what there is to do:
A. The door.
B. Behind where they landed, there seems to be a series of eight stones and it looks like one fell off, leaving it just short of a square. Who knows where it went... There are markings on each stone, many of them cutting off at the edge of each stone.
C. The torches.
D. The wall is made of the same stones. Maybe they can feel around and see if there's another one that'll let them out?
E. The sand pile they landed on.
no subject
"Miss Adela! Are you all right?"
He scrambles to his feet quickly and offers his hand while looking around the room, the small frown on his face growing. "...this is inside the pyramid, is it?"
He swallows. "The Pharoah's...erm...cursed pyramid."

Bakura / Gale
Welcome to Atlantis, the safest sunken city in the world! This five star resort is located miles under the ocean and has transparent walls so you can see all of the sealife around you. With amazing food and activities, there's little question that Bakura and Gale will have anything less than fun!
That is, until a whale is attacked by sharks nearby and runs right into the glass, cracking it and causing water to start pouring into this underwater paradise! Everyone is evacuated to their waterproofed hotel rooms, leaving Bakura and Gale alone in a one-bed hotel room as the city sinks as if it were straight out of a legend. The PA system says that the rescue crew should be there to help everyone out shortly, but after hours the oxygen monitor on the wall turns red and starts a countdown. 00:00:59:34 is what it reads, and it doesn't stop going down.
The two quickly rush to the brochure and realize that there's an emergency scuba kit just down the already flooded hall but in lockdown mode it's impossible to get out of the room... It doesn't look like anyone's coming though, it may be better to find a way to the surface on their own. Maybe they can find something around the room to help them.
A. The bed, located right in front of a window through which fish and water can be seen. While it once looked beautiful, the depths of the ocean seem a little more nerve-wrecking right now... Is that a shark? At least the rose petals on the bed's sheets look romantic...
B. Paneled wall-drawers (4.)
C. A mini-fridge.
D. The oxygen control panel, which seems to be connected to the intercom, door controls, and thermostat as well.
E. A chest in the corner of the room.
no subject
He lazily glances around the room while he stayed leaning against a wall, his arms folded over his chest, looking pretty disinterested. He knew he was capable of drowning - that creature in Fayren back in January proved that to him - but... at least he was calm about it?
"Hey kid, any ideas?" His tone seemed to be dripping with annoyance and... boredom? "Not that we have much time to think about it."
He could check the control panel himself, but... hey, he'll see how useful his 'partner' is first.
sorry for late tag, I fail (E)

Smoker / Relena
It looks like Smoker and Relena have been brought to medieval times. The room they're in is made entirely of stone, unswept. It looks like it's abandoned, many of the stones cracked. They're dark, and wet with something. There are no lights in the room, but the sound of something viscous dripping down. Smoker and Relena can't see much, so they're going to have to feel around. Occasionally, they may bump into something hanging from the ceiling- thick, wet, oozing. This is probably whatever has slicked the floor.
A loud scream breaks out, screeching like nails on a chalkboard that somehow moves from one end of the room to the other. The sound of crying can be heard on one end of the room, like a small child sobbing. There seems to be a window on the opposite side, but it's been boarded up so no light is coming through.
There are a number of key items to interact with in the Dark Tower...
A. Follow the sound of sobbing.
B. Check out the window.
C. Whatever is dangling from the ceiling.
D. The walls may be worth feeling around.
E. Whatever's dripping on the ground.

Namur / Airy
Namur and Airy woke up side by side in what seemed like the inside of a train cargo car. They were surrounded by boxes and the air was warm, stale. But it wasn't a natural awakening, it was from a loud noise. The car itself seemed to be being shoved back and forth by something, the sound of hands pounding against the outside of the car.
Breathless growls and the sound of chomping jaws are dulled by the thick metal. It looks like they aren't alone though, as someone else woke up with them.
"Sorry for crashing your train, but the zombs were swarming last night. I'm Angela. The only way out of here is to bust out though, it sounds like they caught up and are going to break in soon. I'd give them about an hour.."
Angela pushed her hair back over her head, sighing. "Alright, after me-"
Except as soon as she opens the train car, a dozen zombies grab her ankle before she can do anthing. She quickly grabs ahold of the traincar's sliding door, trying to pull herself up as the zombies munch on her legs. She screams out in pain, and the door slams shut again. The door is moving though, so Airy and Namur might want to hurry up on finding a new way out of here and maybe securing that door before they break in again.
From zzz's to zombies, maybe there's a key item that Namur and Airy can find that would help.
A. Cardboard boxes.
B. A crowbar.
C. A pile of scraps.
D. A rat, crawling around the train area.
E. A wooden crate.
Namur / Airy
Before she could question or even move she saw the woman push the door open and the daunting figures grab onto her. Zombies, really weren't so bad. Hordes of them were bad but when you think about it a horde of anything is bad. You wouldn't want to face a horde of mosquito's or werewolves if they were coming after you.
Airy pushed the distracting thoughts away and looked around. Her eyes landed on her companion and she distracted herself again. Do Zombie's eat fish? She pushed the thought away and looked around again.
"We need to get out of here..." Just not the way the woman had gone.
Airy pursed her lips together and then picked up the crowbar. It wasn't perfect but she was used to working with a bow-staff so it's sort of similar. She then turned to the wooden crate and tried to open it. She ended up putting her full body weight behind it because she is very small.

Dave / Ace
Mr. Melvin Mandible was a serious man of serious problems. So serious, in fact, that after a humiliating incident made him the laughing stock of the town. He refused to leave his house from that day on. Rumors around town are that anyone who visits doesn't leave either. Even the paperboy won't mess with Mr. Mandible according to the stories.
That's why Ace and Dave were given coats and deerstalker hats for their date, complete with a magnifier in the pocket. There's no record of a crime so the investigation is left up to two master private eyes. Only, once the two arrive and Mr. Mandible, looking rather ragged with wide eyes and what was once a very nice suit, let's them in, the door closes.
"I'm sorry. She needs to feed. Don't worry, it won't be long."
He looks around at the house itself, laughing nervously and backing away before running through a door and locking himself in a cupboard. Despite the laughter, Mr. Mandible was expectedly serious. The door knobs have all seemed to disappear completely from the doors, as if they were never there in the first place. There are a number of key items to look at around the room.
A. A journal atop a writing desk.
B. A strange painting of a group of people gathered around a fireplace with no faces.
C. An old cello. It looks like it hasn't been played in many years.
D. Two wooden chairs with thick arms.
E. A bookshelf with many old books.

Sans / Armin
Uhg... Sans and Armin wake up in a desolate room. The lights are on just fine, but everything is dirty. The ground seems to be made of unswept stone, there's a bunk bed, a toilet, and a sink. The walls aren't solid though- they're metal bars. They're both in prison. The warden comes by, tapping each of the bars with his stick intimidatingly.
"Y'all think yer some tough shit, do ya? You're gonna be rottin' in here long past yer due dates on life! The bus'll be here in an hour to take you to max."
The warden grins, all his teeth showing including a couple of gold teeth, then he leaves. It looks like he's not going to tell Sans and Armin what the charges are, but they'll be going away a long time if they don't bust out of here.. they didn't even hold a trial, so it's obviously time for a prison break!
The warden is gone now, it's time to look through the room to find something to get out of here...
A. The toilet.
B. The bunk bed.
C. The cat sleeping just outside of the bars.
D. The sink.
E. The small, barred window at the top of the cell.

"...if yer were a convict in a low security jail, where would ya hide tools for breakin' outta here? me? i'm gonna check out this cat."
[And so that is what he did. Sans went over to the cell door to try to make friends with a cat.]

Ted / Nora
"This is the Novaprise to Planet command! The ship is under attack from the Everfayttletonians! Most of the fleet has been taken out and this is the only remaining ship! We're going to jettison the escape pods and hope for the best!"
The whole room shakes as Nora and Ted are thrust into orbit, only barely making it into the last escape pod with seconds to spare. There's not much room- they may have to huddle together closely if they want any chance at not getting back problems during this exercise...
It's a bumpy ride but after long arduous hours (10 minutes of the room shaking and the clock running through 10 hours quickly), the pod crash lands on a nearby planet... in the middle of the ocean! At least the floaters are still working. The first step is to open up the pod before they can really see where they are though. Hopefully neither of them gets sea sick in the meantime. Maybe there's a key item in the pod that they can use to open it.
A. The display panel, a touch screen.

C. A screwdriver. It looks like maybe the maintenance crew left it behind.
D. Oxygen masks that pop up from the roof of the pod.

"Ah, you're that living lightning rod who does the..." A pause as he tries to remember what food blogging is.
"Live...eating. Pleasure to meet you!" And the introductions are all they have time for, as the melodrama unfolds. Ted would put his acting skills to work and played along, enjoying every moment. When he wasn't laughing about it.
"No! Those damn Everfayttletonians! They got everyone! Curse them. Damn them all to hell!" He pathetically pounded his fist on the uncaring metal hull. Ted didn't have much care for personal bubbles, and wouldn't mind terribly if he collided into Nora during the bumpy ride. It happens to him a lot on his daily walks.
"How, Nora? How can we go on living, knowing that the rest of our fleet, all we knew and cherished, is now drifting through the heartless void of space like so much trash and tinsel?" But eventually they had to get out sometime, so he'd go for the (C) screwdriver first, trying it out on the door of their prison.

Alice N. / Danny
It doesn't have to be an igloo. Incidentally, it isn't. It's a car. It is ridiculously cold though, and that probably has something to do with this car being stuck under 20 feet of snow! That's right, Alice and Danny are caught in an avalanche. The heater has stopped working and now there's nothing to keep them warm but each other...
Calling for help would be the best bet, but that may be hard... Maybe some of the items inside of the car can help.
A. A cell phone- the batter is dead though.
B. A key ring with three keys, a panda head keychain, a tiny flashlight, and a pocket knife. One of the keys is in the ignition.
C. The back seat, which seems to fold down.
D. The glove box.
E. The pockets on the back of the front seats.
Re: Alice N. / Danny
Not so much the avalanche. Which, yes, could have been bad. If he wasn't a half-ghost who could just phase out of the car and through the snow at any time. Cold didn't really bother him either, considering ice was his core.
No, the problem was that he couldn't do any of that without letting the girl know about his being half-ghost. And there weren't any convenient places in this car where he could disappear for a moment either.
He turns to the girl sitting beside him and offers a nervous grin.
"So... any ideas?"

Arsene / Belle
It's a typical trope. Two beautiful people are on their way to the office, back home, the flower shop- it doesn't really matter where, but they're in the same building. They both need to get to another floor. Being an old building, Belle and Arsene were accompanied by a crotchety old woman who operated the old-style elevator, crank and all.
However, when they were almost to the tenth floor, the crank jammed.
"Dag nabbit. Hold on a moment."
She kept trying and trying until suddenly, the elevator jerks and locks into place between floors.
"Hold on. This old thing ought to be put out to pasture long before I have. It doesn't have a help button for the fire station. I'll be back."
The old woman takes her uniform jacket off and rolls up her sleeves, revealing a surprisingly buff pair of arms. She pushes up the door on the ceiling and lifts herself up. Before anyone can ask how she did that she nods down the hole and gives a thumbs up.
"Teri loves yogurt. That's my secret to strong bones."
She replaces the roof hatch and apparently starts climbing the elevator shaft. It seems like Teri's jacket wasn't the only thing she left behind. After an hour, the lights shut off. It looks like the building has closed down... could Teri have abandoned them? Maybe they should find their own way out.
A. Teri's jacket.
B. Teri's purse, which she also left behind.
C. A pair of sunglasses left in the corner of the elevator.
D. The elevator crank and panel.
E. The ceiling hatch.

The first thing she did was kneel down, going to pick up the jacket.
"Well we should be figuring a way out, so lets get to it."

Alice M. / Blake
Everyone said it wouldn't happen. Alice and Blake certainly didn't see it coming. They took shelter in the Nova City Disease Center, which locked down just after they entered in. The NCDC is a dangerous place though, and to protect the place from terrorists, the lockdown is set to self-destruct the building in one hour. There's no way in or out- however, there also seems to be some data on one of the abandoned desks that shows that a cure to the disease that's rapidly spreading across Genessia. They must get down to the lab area instead of the lobby and follow the directions to create the cure and escape with it before the building explodes.
The first step is to open the fire doors to get through to the lab. Looking around the room, Blake and Alice are able to locate a few things that might help if examined.
A. Waiting area chairs. Most of them look fine, though a couple have a few tears in the cushions.
B. The front desk. At it, there's a cup of pens, some drawers with forms and a clipboard, and a computer.
C. A custodial closet.
D. A strange-smelling spill in the corner of the room with a mop next to it.
E. A cell phone on the floor in front of the door. The screen is cracked.
B
Alice peered around the room, she only has one doll accompanying her this time instead of two, and it was making thinking gestures.]
"I'm going to check the front desk."
[And so Alice walked towards the desk, her little doll floating along beside her, leaving Blake to do whatever she wants.]

Karla / Demyx
Before the scenario starts, Karla and Demyx are required to drink two shots of tequila. For realism. Once they've done that, they learn that they were hiding in the closet after hearing someone they were avoiding. Unfortunately, it was just before close and the bartender didn't think to check the closet. They're locked in, but it turns out that the bartender was far more than met the eye...
Rather than keys, it seems that the door is locked with a cipher. Look around the bar for clues to figure out what the code to open the door is. Be careful not to set off the alarm or the cops will come and arrest both of them. The alarm will automatically go off if the cipher is solved incorrectly three times in a row. Karla and Demyx will need to search the room for clues to find their way out.
A. The booth in the corner, which looks a little cleaner than the others.
B. Behind the bar and near the cash register.
C. The alcohol display shelf.
D. The tap. It has 4 nozzles.
E. The peanut bowl.
Re: Karla / Demyx (E)
What should he check first? If some kook wanted to keep them in here it wasn't like he'd hide it in an obvious place. He could open a dark door as a last resort if things got too hairy, but who knew what effect that could have on the girl with him?
He poked at the peanut bowl. At least there's food.
