There are dragons in this world.

[ Captain Obvious's voice is heard before the feed even finishes turning on. Zeref himself has always been rather camera shy, so he's not actually in the feed; instead, it's being broadcast from the library, again. There's a few books open, on the table, all of them about dragons. ]

There's no shortage of information here about them, but I can't find anything about Dragon Slayers. At least, not about the type of mage. [ A bit about people who have killed dragons with swords or bows and the like - a ridiculous idea in the context of his world - but nothing about people who literally eat certain elements and use that power to kill dragons. ]

I don't suppose any of you have encountered one?

I didn't find anything that useful. It read like a tabloid. [ Well, not like he has any room to judge, anyway. Just look at Sayla and Kyouka. ]

I wanted to compare the dragons of this world with the dragons of our own world, though I wouldn't say that I was looking to actually meet one.

My own experiences with dragons and Dragon Slayers aren't memories that I enjoy having.

You also only read one magazine. [ Sure some of them read like a tabloid, but there were others less so. It was just. 90% of the magazines were fun gossip rag types. It was a guilty pleasure SHUT UP DON'T YOU JUDGE ME ]

Well the dragons of this world seem more akin to the ones that were willing to coexist with humans at the very least. [ Considering none have come to destroy the villages. ]

Even if I read more, I doubt it would tell me anything about what I am looking for. [ JUDGES YOU FOREVER, LUCY. ]

I hope so. I've only seen two Dragon Slayers here. [ No, he hasn't met Gajeel yet. ] I have ways of dealing with dragons as well, but none of them are pleasant. I would hate to have to resort to that.

You've only seen two -- there are three Dragon Slayers here. Natsu, Gajeel and Wendy. [ She wasn't sure how the conversation would go if he spoke with Gajeel though. Oh dear oh dear. ]

I wanted to compare the dragons of this world with the dragons of Earth-Land. I don't want them to become a threat. Unfortunately, these books aren't too helpful.

Gajeel? [ That's a new name. Obra He saw him in action during the Grand Magic Games, but he's never met him. ]

Three Dragon Slayers... and who knows how many dragons, here. I hope for everyone's sake that these dragons are different.
