[The face on the screen isn't one that would be considered friendly. It's the face of a man in his late twenties with bags under his eyes that are so heavy it looks as if he hasn't slept in at least a month. He frowns, taking a moment to think as he sighs heavily.]

I'll make this brief. My name is Trafalgar Law and I, like many others, am new to this city. I've read the pamphlets, I've seen the video, and I've done some preliminary information gathering so I don't need any hellos or welcomes.

I'm looking for my crew. If you know of anyone who claims affiliation with the Heart Pirates, I'd appreciate it if you could point me in their direction.

[And with that the video feed is cut. No pleasantries included.]

[Law has only been here for a couple of days by this point, so he'll be spending most of his time wandering the city in order to get his bearings. He's also looking for a job. Surely there's a need for a doctor somewhere.]

I take it you're on friendly terms with some of them?

I am. I have met... I believe all of the Whitebeard pirates here and am on good terms with them, as well as Luffy and Bartolomeo. Not one of them is quite like how I imagined a pirate to be, quite honestly.

[That gets a bit of a smirk out of him.]

Oh? What did you imagine then?

Murderous tyrants who plundered, slaughtered, and terrorized people simply for the fun of it, their own gain, or both.

[ She might have said that a little too casually. ]

Well, I guess that is the common conception and there's plenty of pirates back home who would fit that description.

I have been told that the Whitebeards and Strawhats alike are anything but common, and having met some of each it is clear to see that is undeniable truth.

It makes me wonder just what sort you are, Trafalgar Law.

[He smirks.]

That depends on who you ask.

Well, it is you I am asking now.

An older generation of pirates would tell you that I'm among what they call "The Worst Generation". A group of 11 pirates who all have some sort of major conflict around them.

Others would tell you that I'm a Supernova -- a rookie pirate with a bounty over one hundred million beli.

The marines would tell you that I'm a former Shichibukai who gave them the hearts of 100 pirates to prove I was powerful and resourceful enough to carry the title. They'd tell you that I'm known as the Surgeon of Death and that the title isn't just for show.

All of them would tell you that I'm a dangerous man.

As for me? I'll tell you that all of that is true and you can take that for what it is.

Or you could make your own damn judgement call. Either way I don't really care.

I cannot make my own judgement without meeting you and witnessing things for myself, and part of it is what you say of yourself. If all of that is true, I would say you are a very honest man, if unsavoury with such willingness to take life. Still, you do not strike me as the sort who would do it without reason, and the fact that you are so up front about it proves that to me.

Of course, you may have more than people thinking ill of you if you try such things here, honest or not.

[He smirks a little. She's interesting, this Adela. Smart, too. Someone to keep an eye on, if nothing else.]
