What: A Festival of Fireflies with games, food, rides and more!
Where: Genessia
When: August 15th-20th. Starting at 7pm

[The gates are open and the air is filled with the sound of music. Whether you're a reveler, a vendor or anything in between-- come and enjoy the festival!

I did not attend the last festival sadly, though I was new to Genessia at the time - I did not think of it. I see my error now though, I have had a lot of fun here.

"I once held a festival in my sub archway, but-- No. Nevermind."

[Anastasia would rather not bring up something dark. Not at a festival. She was now able to see the ride perfectly. It really did have metal horses, all colorfully painted.]

[ Adela hums inquisitively, wondering why Anastasia cut herself off like that but not questioning it for the time being. What did she mean though?

It doesn't take them long to get to the front of the line, and Adela can't help brightening. Just the sort of calm thing to help her get her metaphorical feet back under her. ]

It looks nice, does it not?

[It was a sad time that shouldn't have happened on her birthday. It was over and done with, though. Even more sad things happened since then and she has had enough.

Anastasia was managing a bright smile as their turn was now super close.]

"It really does. I want to ride the pink one."

[ She huffs a laugh, smiling and shaking her head after a moment. ]

You are welcome to it, I think I may sit on one of the benches on there.

[Now it was finally their turn. Anastasia went to the nearest pink pony she can find and climbs on to ride side saddle, since she was the kind of girl who always prefers skirts. She was facing the benches so she can see and speak to Adela.]

"Are you sure you don't want to ride one of the ponies, Adela?"

I am certain. Perhaps another time, but for now I am content here.

[ She'll make herself comfortable once she's assisted onto the bench, stretching her arms above her head after a beat. ]

I am not used to riding on horseback regardless, whether it is a false horse or a real one.
