[The gates are open and the air is filled with the sound of music. Whether you're a reveler, a vendor or anything in between-- come and enjoy the festival!

[Terrance's lips crack into a smile. He shakes his head and begins moving pass the both so others could try.]

Good.

[Because it took a lot more money to get then he cares to admit.]

*Still squeezing the cat, Sonico follows alongside Terrance, looking around at the other stalls*

Now I need to win a prize for you! Or we could go see what the vendors are selling if you like?

I don't want anything Sonico.

[He's used to living a simplified lifestyle. He's never had anything and because of that he's never wanted anything. Unless it's a rock or can fit in his pocket.]

Oh. Okay.

*Sonico hugs the cat a little less tightly as they walk along*

Then thank you very much for winning this for me. It'll be nice to have something more like home around.

[Terrance shrugs, unsure of what to say. He is happy she likes it but something is stopping him from coming out and saying as much. He pauses when he hears a crash and looks up at the sky. When did it become night time?]

Fireworks?

[Another bright cloud of color explodes in the sky above their heads.]

*Sonico is also surprised, and she jumps as she is startled by the first explosion. But when those colours appear in the sky, Sonico hugs the plush cat in excitement*

Fireworks!

*They were in a relatively crowded part of the fair with people bumping into them when they paused*

Do you like fireworks? Maybe we can find somewhere quieter to watch them?

[Terrance looks around them and then nods his head.]

Sure.

[He doesn't know where she'd want to go.]

Lead the way.

*So Sonico begins to wander through the crowd, eventually coming to a park area clearly full of people gathered for the fireworks. There are a few spots on the grass here and there among friends and couples*

Should be stand or find somewhere to sit? We can use the kitty as a cushion.

[Terrance follows behind her, having very little trouble following the hair of pink and the large stuffed cat. When the crowd breaks he glances around and then points at a bolder sitting to their left.]

Let's sit there.

*Sonico heads over to the boulder Terrance pointed at and takes a seat, careful not to drop the cat as she rests it on her lap. She soon lapses into silence, head tipped back as she gazes up at the firework display, making appreciative noises with the rest of the crowd. Suffice to say she looks very content indeed*

[Terrance takes a seat next to her, his fingers lightly running along the rock. A voice in his head begins to name materials and note its roughness and formation. A small smile touches his lips as he lays back against the rock, looking up at the explosions in the sky.

His hands rest under his head and he enjoys laying out on the bolder.]

*The fireworks draw to a close, ending on quite a spectacular finale. A few times she turns to look at Terrance with a happy smile, pointing out her favourites and making sure that he's enjoying them too*

Time to go home.

[He pushes himself up so he's sitting on the rock and leans towards Sonico.]

Think you can make it back without trouble?

*Her attention was drawn from the sky and back to Terrance, her expression still bright, even if there was a flicker of disappointment that this was the end of their time hanging out for the day*

Mhm.

*Sonico nods and pulls the plush toy closer to her chest*

I might stay here for a while anyway.

Mmm? Why's that?

[It's late, personally Terrance might just crash on this rock. He's growing attached to it. Not to mention that the park is one of the places he sleeps on a regular basis.]

It's just so pretty out here. That, and I'm getting quite hungry so I wouldn't mind trying a couple of the food stalls.

*Then she pauses because she realises that his comment might be some sort hint to get her to leave while he stays*

In fact, I might go find something just now. I'm sure I saw someone selling sugared doughnuts.

[Terra just nods.]

If you want.

[He looks up for a moment and then lays back down on the rock.]

I'm going to stay here. [No reason to hide it though he hadn't mention that he's planning to stay there all night.]

*Sonico slowly stands up from the rock, holding the plush with one hand and stretching with the other arm. She would have just let it at that, but the way he lay back down made her ask*

You do mean just for a little while, don't you?

[Terrance shrugs, which is impressive laid out against the rock as he was.]

Maybe.

Or maybe...a long time? I don't know how long this will last for but you should be careful that you aren't locked in when everyone leaves.

*Just a little concerned as she glances round the slowly dwindling crowd*

[Terrance looks up at her, regarding her worry seriously.]

Mmm? It'll be fine.

[There is only a fence around it and in some places he could probably just walk out, assuming he found them. He's slept in worse places.]

*Sonico holds his gaze for a moment, wishing she could really tell how much he meant it. But he didn't seem uncomfortable or unhappy. Still, she didn't imagine that he might actually stay through the night*

Okay, if you are sure. But call me if you get into any bother, won't you?

[Terrance closes his eyes while he replies.]

I will love. You have fun.

*Sonico flushes when he calls her 'love'. He's done it several times now but it always makes her feel a little warm. When he closes his eyes Sonico stands and watches him, hugging her cat closer*

Thank you. Keep safe.

*And she reluctantly turns to move through the crowd for some food, smiling to herself all the way*
