[Anastasia looked on ahead, her eyes narrowed.]

"When I inherit my father's kingdom as Queen, I intend to make it stop. The Endless Blizzard will ground the Great Phoenix."

[Giving it some thought.]

"From the sound of it, if you are going to be queen, you can change the laws and help save lives, and improve the welfare of your people."

"You misunderstand, Sir. Allow me to clarify...

I'm Anastasia Kitty Leonheart, Princess of the Kingdom of Rivera, land of holy rivers and eternal winter. Our enemy is the Great Firlandic Empire, land of Mana-technology and blazing summers.

My people are permitted to do as they wish, within limits of our laws. It's the Imperial citizens who are abused."

A nervous laughed. He has trouble keeping up with conversations. "I...oh. I'm sorry! Forgive me. Politics isn't my strong suit. I'm a simple priest, you see. Still, with you being the queen, would that be a good thing?"

"I don't know. Most of my people and our allies have no objections. But there is one other super nation across the sea that threatened my nation's destruction just because I'm a girl."

[She twisted the cap off of the second bottle and took a small drink from it.]

"If I become Queen, I have a feeling a new era of civilization may follow close behind."

[Abel nodded. Looks like she's feeling better, so perhaps she should be good for that Ferris Wheel.]

"You seem afraid and uncertain. Are you afraid what the future entails? Well, you're young now, so don't rush into growing up. Enjoy today."

"That's true... I should be ready for anything by the time I'm Queen."

[She was feeling better as she just opened her parasol, holding it up to shield her from the sun.]

[She looked like she's feeling better, so Abel smiled again.]

"Okay, so do you want to go on that Ferris Wheel? I would like to go to enjoy the view."

"Okay, but only if we sit across from each other."

[It's no offense, but Anastasia really has not had ample interaction with males growing up.

She rises from the bench, keeping her parasol steady and smoothing out her skirt, she was ready to go with Abel to the ferris wheel.]

"Fine by me."

[They walked together, joined a line, and when the car is ready to be board, he did as she asked. He took a seat, sitting across from her, and the staff closed the door.]

"I can't wait to see the view!"

[As the wheel begins to turn, Anastasia remembers how nervous she was the last time she was on a ferris wheel. But like before, she was able to hide it moderately well, at least until...]

"...Do you think there's a chance the ferris wheel could tip over?"

[The car does swayed side to side due to the movement of the wheel, but Abel isn't the least bit scared. He is calm, and with a reassurance.]

"I don't think so. The people rode on it all day. I think we'll be all right. Just enjoy the view."

"Right..."

[She peered out the window, appearing to be holding on to the seat as the car swayed. She was beginning to feel anxious as the car got higher and higher. She even shivered for a moment. She did trust nothing bad will happen, as proven from her first time, she was able to note something about the city.]

"...Genessia is not as bright as Nova City."

"You know what? You're indeed right. Such a peaceful city. It's a nice to live."

[Abel stayed calm for the entire duration of the ride, and in time, the ride is over, and Abel opened the door for her.]

"See? The ride is finished. That wasn't so bad, isn't?"

"I still prefer my home city..."

[When the ride was over, Anastasia side in relief. They say it gets easier the second time, and she doesn't quite agree in this instance. She approached the door and carefully hopped out, stepping aside to let Abel out as well.]

"I suppose it will take time to get used to these rides..."

"So do I."

[Well, Abel ran out of ideas for rides.]

"It does." [Then with a smile.] "Well, it's still early for me to go home." [Abel tends to stay up late at night.]

"I'm going to hit the gaming alley to win some prizes. If you want to come with me, I might win something for you."

[Anastasia shouldn't be staying up late, but she was entering her teenage years and virtually lost all of her friends, so she wasn't in the mood to obey the rules. She'll stay up until she can't anymore.]

"Oh, okay. I've been looking for games to try lately."

[With that, she's ready to follow Abel to the gaming alley.]

[And if she stayed up too late, Abel will escort her back home. So he and the princess walked through the aisle through the crowd, where is many gaming vendors. Prizes are plush dolls and other novelties are being hung up for display, with blinking lights that light up the night.

Abel played some games. One game in particular that he seem to excelled at is a game with a rifle, and you shoot at the targets, and his aim is deadly accurate as he seems to hit the bullseye every time. Once he won a prize, he gave her an orange tiger plushie, which is big and fluffy.]

Here, this is for you.

[It's been awhile since she's seen a firearm. It reminded her of one of her old companions from back home. In fact, she can see him in Abel. She couldn't help but smile brightly when the tiger plushy came her way and happily hugged it.]

"I love it, thank you!" [A brief pause.] "Um... What animal is it?"

[She's never seen one before.]

"It's called a tiger. It's a big wild cat with stripes over orange or white fur that makes it's home in a tropical jungle. Ah, this animal is extinct in my world. Used to be endangered and people tried to protect it, but then the majority died off due to hunters and poachers. Some people believed, some of it's body parts has medicinal value, which isn't true."

[Abel recited that from memory of his reading in an encyclopedia entry from his version of the world history. During the Dark Age of Armageddon, a lot of human and animal lives were wiped during the wars...and Abel is part of it.

He said sadden inwardly, but he doesn't show it, not in front of his new front.]

"Aww, poor kitties..."

[Her suppressed childishness finally surfaced. She never got many opportunities to really be a kid. She was indeed saddened by the thought of such a cute "little" animal no longer existing. She would've loved to see one in person.]

"I don't know if they exist on my world. If they do, there are not native to the land of eternal winter..."

[She thought about it for a moment. She was so taken with such a gift that she was willing to be more open.]

"You know, speaking of cats... My middle name is Kitty."

"It is? I think your middle name is lovely."

[There isn't anymore games to be played, and while there are other amusements to be discovered like the halls of mirrors and the haunted house, Abel went through those already and found them very boring. And it's getting dark and he checked the time on his phone.]

"It's getting late and I'm getting tired. I'm going back home. What about you?"

"I... I don't know yet."

[Rather, she doesn't know which home to return to. There's her friend whom she's staying with in Nova, and her own sub archway in Fayren.]

[Okay, technically his home is a temporary dwelling of the Genssia Commonspace, so it wasn't a home, not by Abel's standards, but he's working on moving out.]

"You'll be all right going home alone? I can go with you as a friend."

"...I'd feel safer that way, yes. There are dangerous people out there who don't discriminate. I'd rather not be alone."

[If only her new tiger plushy could protect her.]
