[ She's still looking away from him, trying not to let herself become too flustered even if she's already basically failed at that by this point. ]

[Terrance raises his eyebrow.]

There you go then. Do you have a problem with being called 'love'? I suppose I can call you mate but that's a masculine form of the word and I've been told that girls don't like being referred to as boys. I could be wrong in your case.

Hold on a moment, that is supposed to be slang?

[ UGH. SHE'S REALLY STARTING TO HATE IT. WHY IS SLANG A THING. She's also trying not to squeak when she speaks to him. ]

Look, I.... I wish you would not use 'love' at any rate? It... It seems far too personal to me?

You've never been to England have you?

[His accent is notable but if she isn't from Earth she wouldn't know.]

[ She's shaking her head. Honestly she's never even heard of the country, not that he'd know but... ]

You sure you should be going on this ride?

[He's mistaking her for being sick. This is awkward.]

We're almost there love.

[It's a really difficult habit to kick...]

I-I am all right. And stop calling me that.

[ SO UNCOMFORTABLE. JUST WHEELING AHEAD IN LINE NOW... Nevermind that she might have trouble balancing on the ride but she still wants to try it! ]

[Terrance raises an eyebrow at her and steps up the metal stairs of the ride.]

I think it's two to three people per a compartment.

[He points at the groups getting into the tilt-a-whirl carts.]

Right.

[ One of the workers is helping her up the stairs and she ends up seated before they beckon for Terrance to join her. BECAUSE WHY NOT ]

[Terrance waits with his hands shoved into his pockets before sliding in the seat next to her. He doesn't know when she wants to ride but he isn't one to judge. They're both about to be thrown around.]

[ Welp.

This is awkward.

But Adela doesn't have time to dwell as she instead buckles herself in and hangs on. It doesn't take her long to forget about any embarrassment and instead yell and cheer, clearly enjoying herself even if all they're doing is getting thrown around in dizzying circles. ]

[Terrance feels a smile tug at his lips as then spin in quick circles only to stop and spin the other way. He tries really hard not to run into Adela but the seats are slick and he slides across them despite his best efforts.

Eventually he puts an arm around Adela, if only so his shoulders doesn't keep slamming into her.]

[ She might make a weird squeaking noise at his arm, but she's also still very very very distracted by the ride. Adrenaline junkie FTW? ]

[This is the first time that Terrance has been on a ride, that he's felt butterflies twist in his stomach or excitement thrill through his lips. As the ride stops his heart is pounding fast and his breath staggering.

He looks down at Adela before removing his arm and waiting for the bar to rise. He isn't a touchy feely person, he's just logical.]

[ Excuse her for giggling like an idiot Terrance.

She's still experiencing the complete high and it's effecting her completely. ]

[Terrance raises an eyebrow but doesn't comment. It's hard to get a read on this thoughts at the moment though he doesn't look particularly annoyed. After two grinding clicks the metal bar releases and Terrance is able to stand.]

[ Too bad that Adela can't do the same on her own, but at least one of the workers was willing to help her get back to her chair in good order. ]

I am still so dizzy...

[ More laughter. She's okay, promise. ]

[Terrances steps out of the way, watching the younger girl giggle manically. He doesn't really get it, sure the ride was fun but then it's over now.]

Have you been on this before?

[It doesn't hurt to ask.]

[ She shakes her head at the question. ]

No, I have not. I have never even seen rides before this place, it is all so incredible!

[Terrance rises an eyebrow at her, his expression inquisitive.]
