[ Without Airy, Dave or Jaune around Jefferson felt a bit aimless in his wandering. He'd stopped to look at a few things here and there but not much caught his interest enough to stick around. The Haunted House was just another one of the things that he had intention of turning away from, but before he could the sensation of being grabbed stopped him. The voice that he didn't know confused him more than the action, so he turned to face the source with an inquisitive look that turned a bit playful he realized it was a young girl who had commanded his attention. ]

Do I really look that scared? I thought I was hiding it well.

Maybe, to most. But Ibuki can tell these things.

[Not really. The fear thing was just an excuse for Ibuki to latch onto someone for company. For their own benefit, of course, and not at all because wandering by herself is boring and lonely and all those other words that serve no purpose at a festival.]

That's why she has stepped in to be your knight in shining piercings!

[Because those are the only shiny things they have on her. Still works, right?]

[ He couldn't help but smile. Even if he had no idea who she was beyond what he could only assume was her name she seemed like a fun, eccentric sort of kid. The knight comment just made him laugh. ]

If you're the knight does that mean I'm the damsel in distress?

[ What a quirky and strange first impression they were making. ]

Well. I did rescue you before you could step into the demonic dragon's lair all by yourself.

[Haunted house, dragon's lair, close enough. Ibuki's not one to let the finer details get in the way of her improvisation.]

Unfortunately Ibuki didn't bring her own horse. But maybe we can find a carousel and then we can ride off into the sunset.
