[The gates are open and the air is filled with the sound of music. Whether you're a reveler, a vendor or anything in between-- come and enjoy the festival!

[Terrance reaches above her and grabs hold of the door.]

After you.

[He's still debating if he wants coffee.]

Thank you.

*Sonico nods and skips past him into the small cosy place. She heads over to the counter and greets the girl serving her. After making her order, she turns to Terrance*

Would you like anything? To sit or to go?

[rockcollector]

[He follows behind her pausing when they get to the counter. At her question he simply addresses the woman behind the counter with an even tone, his accent making him sound as if he knows what he's talking about.]

To go and the blond dark roast, medium.

[sonicosuper]

*Which makes her feel all the more embarrassed when she gets handed over her mocha with cream and chocolate powder. At least it's hidden in a paper cup. Sonico takes some money from her pocket and pays for both their coffees*

You like good coffee hmm? It's really nice here. The hot chocolate too.

I don't eat a lot of sweet things.

[They're expensive and black coffee is easy and he's sort of to lazy to put anything in his coffee.]

I've never had a lot of chocolate.

[He doesn't hate it, just doesn't have a lot of experiance with it.]

[sonicosuper]

Right.

*She'll remember that, just in case she ever needs to know what he does or doesn't like to eat or drink. Sonico waits until they are back outside before taking a sip on her drink, eyes closed as she savours the taste*

That is exactly what I needed - something strong and sweet. It's been such a long, long day for me.

[Terrance takes a sip of his drink enjoying the warmth that spreads through him.]

I can't imagine.

[Seriously he can't.]

[sonicosuper]

Well, let's see... Yesterday was busy for a start. I had some...model work.

*Aka a wet shirt competition*

Then I was up this morning for band practise, then worked a shift at the diner, and I'm only just done with the concert. That part was real fun though.

[rockcollector]

I saw.

[Terrance wishes he hadn't just said that.]

Let's just get you home.

[sonicosuper]

You saw?

*Sonico's face lights up at the thought that he was at her very first concert here, especially as she wasn't sure that it was something he'd be interested in*

Did you enjoy it?

*But then she pauses and stares at him as she realises he wasn't specific about what he saw and her eyes open wide*

Which event..did you see?

[rockcollector]

[Terrance keeps walking a head of her.]

Both.

[sonicosuper]

*Good thing he's ahead because her face is bright red and to add to her surprise Sonico nearly drops her coffee cup, spilling hot coffee onto her hand*

Ow!

*Then silence as they continue walking until she has the courage to pipe up*

I - I hope you had a nice time at...both.

[Terrance looks at her when she burns her hand and sighs.]

Nice is one thing to call it.

[sonicosuper]

*Great, he turns in time to see her cheeks still quite red, and licking the coffee off of her hand. Her eyes meet his though as he sighs. He doesn't sound too enthusiastic*

You didn't like them so much?

[rockcollector]

[Terrance hums.]

Don't know. It was interesting.

[He certainly doesn't hate seeing girls half naked, he is a guy after all.]

[sonicosuper]

Oh. Yes. I suppose they both were...interesting.

*Sonico stares down at her coffee cup as they walk, trying to decide how she feels about him naming it as such*

Interesting is better than boring, I suppose!

[rockcollector]

[Terrance isn't sure he should voice his full opinions about the display. He'll most likely get slapped or get Sonico upset.]

It wasn't boring.

[He takes a sip of his coffee and continues along.]

You sing at home too?

[sonicosuper]

*Perhaps, but at the same time there's a part of her that does really want to know what he thinks, out of morbid curiosity*

I'm glad I didn't bore you...

*Sonico shuffles along a bit slower, struggling to drink and walk at the same time*

Yes, I do. Did? Do. We were just starting to make a name for ourselves.

[He's going to focus on the singing topic.]

My two friends and I.

*Yes, her two friends, because that's all she has*

Also known as First Astronomical Velocity.

*Which she can't help but say with a bit of grandeur and a smile*

Who are they?

[He tries not to sound eager but he's curious. She probably misses them. He has no one to miss and no one who will miss him.]

[sonicosuper]

Hmm, my friends? Fuuri and Suzu. They're the ones who bullied me into joining the band in the first place. I'm so glad they did.

*Sonico smiles and slows down as they come closer to her home*

Do you miss them?

[His tone is softer, sadder.]

[sonicosuper]

*It's a simple question, but there's something about the way he asks that makes her pause and bow her head*

Yes, I do.

[rockcollector]

[Terrance falls into silence as he walks her the rest of the way to her door. He doesn't really know what else to say to her or how to reply. He feels but he isn't the sort of person to express it.]
