[The alien can't help but chuckle. There's something oddly cute about having Bracken study him like this. He can tell the chubby mage means no harm. This strange human is actually fascinated with him and that makes him laugh.]

It does, doesn't it? [On cue, Katze wraps his tail loosely around Bracken's arm.] I have the same markings on my body too, around the neck and down the spine.

[He had never been much for wearing jewelry, so the makeshift bracelet on his wrist looked a little out of place.]

R-Really?

[Of course, he'd seen some stuff. It was right there.]

W-Were you born with it, or, is that something that y... that you did?

[He was genuinely curious. Katze was a brand new race for him.]

Yes, really! [More snickering ensues.] In my world, everyone has tails like these. Well, almost everyone. We have quite a bit of foreigners living there too.

[He points to his neck to show off the black diamond pattern there. Katze even has a few of those diamonds trailing down his chest too. Bracken can see them as plain as day there.]

See? Feel it. [He unwraps his tail from Bracken's arm and brings the mage's hand to his neck.] Cool, right?

[He let Katze guide his hand and trailed his fingers over his neck. It was so strange when he looked human.]

Do... Do you feel this, th-the same way the rest of your skin would f... feel it?

[He wondered how such a material could feel.]

[bergkatze]

[The giggling should be answer enough. Katze is ticklish there.]

Heeey! Are you trying to tickle me?

[A grin settles on his lips as he leans against Bracken again. He's purring once more.]

I-I wasn't!

[He was flustered by the accusation and stopped, but after a moment...

He kind of liked hearing Katze giggle. Tentatively, his slid his finger down a diamond at Katze's collarbone. His other arm was wrapped securely around him to hold him close.]

Eeee~!

[The giggling starts up once more now that Bracken is actually tickling him on purpose this time. Damn mage! His laughter is something mixed between an actual chuckle and a slight purr-like squeak.

It's difficult to describe but so very Katze.]

N-Now you are!

[He says in between laughter. The alien doesn't seem to mind the closeness at all. Bracken is quite warm after all.]

S-Sorry. I... I just like hearing you l-laugh.

[He felt like he'd toed the boundaries a bit, but Katze seemed okay. But, it would probably be going to far to just keep tickling him.

Instead, he wrapped both arms around him and affectionately nuzzled his cheek. He could snuggle like this all night long.

Unfortunately, the ride slowed to a stop at the bottom and they were expected to get off. Bracken wasn't one to cause a fuss. He carefully slid onto his feet to carry Katze back off.]

['He just likes hearing me...laugh?'

The entire concept of someone genuinely liking him is such a foreign concept to Berg Katze. He's so used to people hating him that Katze honestly doesn't know what to think about all this. He genuinely likes spending time with Bracken and it's terrifying that he does.

Didn't he just arrive here? Why is this happening all of a sudden. Bracken should be dead! Deader than dead! Like ten feet under kind of dead.

Katze doesn't understand what's going on and before he knew it, he's kissing Bracken smack dab on the lips.]

[Even if he wanted to resist it would have been difficult in his position. At least, difficult for someone who wasn't interested in dropping the person they were holding.

But, he was more surprised than put off. Man or woman didn't matter to him, and neither did race for the most part. For the duration he was shocked stiff. It was, after all, his first kiss like this, beyond pecks on the cheek, and he never expected it.

He stood in stunned silence for moments after the kiss, just holding Katze. He'd expected his heart to be pounding - and it had when it first happened - but it calmed into a quiet, steady beat. Being kissed was warm and comfortable and gave him a sense of security that he couldn't explain.

Well, if kisses were okay...

After taking in what had happened, he leaned in slightly to give Katze a small peck on the lips.]

[Katze was internally freaking once once he felt Bracken stiffen a little.

JUST WHAT HAS HE DONE?! Maybe kissing the blond was a bad idea. Yep, totally a bad idea. Katze has a problem of keeping his lips to himself but he's not trying to steal Bracken's appearance. No, no! He just wanted to kiss him! That's all! Just an innocent kiss---Oh?

He was just about to pull away when Bracken suddenly kisses him back. Ooooh...]

....[He smirks against Bracken's lips and returns the kiss with one of his own pecks.]

[He'd seen plenty of people making out - among other things - but had never gotten very involved, because he was both shy and insecure. Because of that, he was mostly left alone, neither rejected nor pushed to join. It didn't often take much more than a small push for him.

He was more than happy to stop in his tracks and quietly make out with the alien in his arms. He was more reserved, lip to lip contact, without trying to get into any tongue action.

But all in all, it felt great. Whether small or large, each kiss had him all twisted up inside, both excited and just plain delighted. Maybe there hadn't been any words, but the actions said a lot. If he had to be away from home, at least there was someone he could feel close to.

And then they were being shooed out of the way so that they weren't blocking the ride.]
