[Excuse, Cloud, Rude is a perfect gentleman when he's not being paid to break faces on command. He wouldn't dream of speaking about such things, even with such minimal chance of there being any truth behind the thoughts and certainly not with someone he isn't convinced is entirely feelings-free himself.

And Rude certainly isn't going to compete with someone Tifa has a heck of a lot more reason to trust than she does him.

But that's a competition-that's-not-really-a-competition for another day. For now, Rude focuses on the challenge laid out by Cloud, scouting for something they should be on even footing on for what he can recall of Cloud's skills.

He's pretty sure throwing rings at targets isn't something either of them make much use of. So he'll nod towards that stall in response to Cloud's suggestion, brow raised in a questioning tick.]
