There is more to purity than avoiding conflict, as there is any number of sins that may scare away honorable spirits. Again, I find myself unsurprised that fireflies would not show themselves with all this hubbub.

[This, unfortunately, is true. Even if people seem happy and pleased on the outside, they could easily be hiding things and unfortunately, Athena would be able to tell right away.

Or, even if they were happy, people could get up to...naughty things. Things she's definitely never accidentally found on TV while channel surfing with Apollo when they couldn't sleep. Nope. except they totally did]

The fireflies would be right at home in the Wright Anything agency, being able to sense things like that.
