Firefly Masquerade!
Who: Open to anyone who wants to attend
What: A Masquerade! Complete with masks, costumes, music and food.
WhenSaturday August 20th 8pm-midnight
Where: Genessia
Warnings: Tag them if they apply
[a field near the fairgrounds has been cleared away and set up into a tastefully decorated outdoor ball. There are balloons, trellises crawling with summer flowers and white holiday lights carved white chairs and tables, and a buffet table heavy with food. In the center is a beautiful wood dance floor in front of an amphitheater in which a small band complete with singer plays a variety of songs. Some instrumental, some not. Feel free to request or take the stage for yourself!
Dance the night away and at midnight get ready to pull of your masks and basks in the dazzling fireworks display bursting overhead.

[She can tell this girl's pretty much already wasted and now that means Ibuki on a mission to take care of her because who knows what sort of creep she could have run into otherwise.
Ibuki might like her cute girls but she has her limits.
Not that she has much practice in dealing with drunk people. Time to delve into the depths of her pop culture knowledge.]
Oh but you know what else is good? The water. Ibuki hasn't tasted anything like it. Let's go get some!
[And while she'd have latched onto Yukiko anyway to encourage her along, right now it feels all the more important that she does so.]

[She was hungry however as she was starting to look around, trying to remember where the table was that had the selection on top.]

[She's...not sure she should be promising that but she has to do what she can.
Like all but frogmarching Yukiko towards the food table as she hears that question.]
Let's go find that out, too. Ibuki's sure there's something you'll like here.

[And even as she's picking out a pastry for herself, she's quietly building a stockpile for Yukiko. She's not even sure if that's useful but it seems like it might be.
And of course, where there's food there's water and Ibuki fills two glasses, killing hers in no short order with a pleased sound that might be a little exaggerated.]
Mm-mm. Just as Ibuki suspected. This is the finest water this side of the city, and probably the other side too.
[And here's where she's holding out the other glass for Yukiko.]

Doesn't water normally taste the same as any other water though. Except the bottled kind... I guess.
