TWO [action]
//Sycamore Cycles//
[Trafalgar Law was having a Day.
When he arrived in Genessia a few weeks ago he had realized three things: his reputation and standing as pirate back home meant almost nothing, that in addition to being without his submarine and crew, his goals were literally unobtainable and he had no reason to continue a life of piracy here when he had other skills that could be put to good use, and that for some people from home (and others who would inevitably learn that he was a pirate as he wasn't exactly trying to hide it) neither of those facts would matter.
Of course being away from home didn't absolve him of his crimes nor did he expect the marines here to treat him as such. However, he did expect a certain level of decorum. A terse sort of forced friendliness if only because it wasn't worth the trouble to continue an antagonistic relationship. Perhaps tolerance would be the right word for it. After all what good would it do any of them to engage in destructive behaviors? It wasn't like he could be convicted and tried as a pirate here and he has done nothing to warrant any sort of punitive action.
Then there was Smoker.
Smoker who acted like he needed to prove something. Like he owed it to Genessia to keep the pirates from his world from causing trouble. Smoker who always, always, acted on his own justice. Smoker who told him that he still felt like he had to catch pirates. That he had an almost physical and psychological need to catch pirates.
It was Smoker who was responsible for Law's current situation. That situation was, in short, humiliating. Smoker had caught him. Barged into his office, stuck the tip of his seastone capped jitte into the center of his chest, and shackled him with seastone cuffs before Law had even had a chance to open his mouth and ask him what the hell he was doing in his office.
It pisses him off that he didn't see it coming. It infuriates him that because he didn't see it coming, because he had mistakenly allowed himself to be lulled into some sort of complacency ever since he started to work at the hospital, it had happened so damn fast. Then, Smoker had toted him along in those seastone cuffs with Law yelling and screaming at him the whole time even though he was exhausted because of those stupid things and ploppped down at Sycamore Cycles.
He made sure to cuff his legs, too. Just to make sure he wouldn't be running off anywhere.
Then, he left.
The asshole just up and left him there.
So, everyone, there is one very pissed off pirate chained up inside Sycamore Cycles shouting after Smoker's reatreating back, "GET BACK HERE, ASSHOLE! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING? YOU'D BETTER NOT BE LEAVING ME HERE LIKE THIS. I SAID GET BACK HERE!" Shouting long after he's gone and eventually quieting down into a stewing, heavily embarassed silence because why did this happen to him what is his life.]

Coming across Law screaming, that's what.
Like, he can't miss that voice. He knows that voice. There's just no mistaking it. But why is Trafalgar so incensed? What are they doing in there? It's just so...yeah, Bartolomeo needs to check this out for his own satisfaction. He doesn't know how the two know each other outside of White Hunter + Pirate, but it doesn't seem to matter. He ducks under the half-open shutter of the garage, hands in his pockets.]
...eh? What's all the ruckus about?
[action]
Barty will get his answer almost immediately.
Law's slumped back against a wall and the moment he hears that voice he all but dies on the spot. Of all the people to find him like this. Of all the people who could have ducked under that shutter and showed up here.
No, this was too much. This was awful. This was terrible. It was one thing when he ended up in chains thanks to Doflamingo, but this was another situation entirely and he is just so EMBARRASSED and ughhhhhhhhhh whyyyyyyyy Barty??? WHY BARTY??
He sneers, thrusting his arms forward and rattling the chains of the handcuffs.]
What do you think it's about, idiot?!
no subject
No but really. Bartolomeo blinks at the shackles and then breaks out into the hugest, most assholeish grin he can possibly make]
I dunno, maybe this is you being kinky or something. How am I supposed to know what you're doing handcuffed in Smoker's garage? Oho, is this a thing? Are you guys like... [whistles and gestures. AHAHAHAHAHAHA also that's a nasty mental image, eugh.]
no subject
He rolls his eyes, but ugh, he agrees though that's a horrible image. He doesn't want it. Take it back.]
No, it's not a thing! The bastard barged into my office and--
[No, he doesn't need to share details with Barty. The details are quite possibly even more humiliating than being shackled in Smoker's garage.]
-- he caught me. Started spouting some bullshit about how he needed to do it to test a theory.

having his brand of hearing doesn't help matters, naturally. ]
Law...san?
[ that can't be anyone else in there. it's the panda eyes that give it away. he just. he just doesn't wanna dare to believe, quite yet. ]
action
It is indeed Law and he is positively fuming. And embarrassed. Just so, so embarrassed and everything is awful and terrible.
Slumped back against the wall, he looks up at the voice. It's one he's only heard a couple of times before, but if the voice didn't do it, the hair color alone was enough to give him away.
He's still furious, still absolutely seething, and it shows in his voice when he speaks. It's icy and dangerous. Not that he can do anything in the state he's in nor would he necessarily do anything to Coby specifically. His target, once he's free of these bonds, is Smoker.]
Coby-ya. [He grumbles the name in a terse greeting.] You didn't happen to see White Chase-ya on your way here, did you?
[Video] / [OTA] (for anyone wanting to call Smoker up and demand he come back)
Thank you Doctor, I feel much better.
[He's still not coming back for a bit, BUT he DOES feel he owes it to the former shichibukai to let him curse him out a steady stream.]
Don't give me that bullshit! I tried to help you, you bastard! This is the fucking thanks I get?! Locking me up in your shop?!

And this is helping.

[Smoker, your right hand is upset.]
Vice Admiral. Do you have any notion of how difficult it is to run a doctor's office without the doctor?

[ Whoops, another lady in his life is mad at him. And this one can't be buttered up by any wrong-doings Law may have done in the past.
Seriously though she looks quite irritated. ]
I would hope you have a good explanation as to why I found Trafalgar trapped in the store, but from what I have heard that does not seem likely.

[video] / [locked] This is so stupid I am so sorry, Smoker is so dumb =\
[action] NOW THAT I'M HOME...
... Do I want to know what happened to you?
[ YEAH HE DOESN'T LOOK ALL RIGHT... She'll get to freeing him pretty soon at least. ]
[action]
Smoker happened.
[Law all but spits out the name.]
I made a stupid mistake and it won't happen again.
And why are you walking around? I told you that you were on bed rest!
[action]
I will go back after this, allow me to at least free you first. This is all seastone, is it not?

[Action before Adela ruined everything]
He leisurely strolled into the place, had a look around for the one he wanted to greet, until his eyes (taking far too long) finally fell upon Mr. Law himself. He figured him for an employee taking a rest in a strange position. Oh well, he's seen stranger.
"Oh! Heh, hello. He hired someone else, eh? What's your name? Has Smoke gone out?"
[Action]
"I have no idea where he is or when he'll return."
He'd say he doesn't care, but he definitely does. The longer he's gone, the longer he's stuck here. He can't exactly use his abilities to get out of these particular shackles.
Re: [Action]
Ted's better with names than faces, so he'd ask after the former. "Oh, my mistake. Then...what are you?"

Why are you here? [he's got his pockets stuff full of Smoker's purloined food and also has a small Pomeranian parked under his hat but pays it no mind]
What did you do, Trafalgar?

Hell if I know.
