[over the course of the next few days, Ace will be wandering just about everywhere he can get access to (thats in public) and serving up, or attempting to serve up, a divine kancho -- at least to all the guys above a certain age. Children he'll leave alone and women will get a tap on the shoulder along with a business card which has 'You have been kancho'd' in a swirly font.

Feel free to bear his attack, dodge his attack or spread his attack to the unsuspecting denizens of wherever you happen to be.

It's a kancho long weekend everyone. Get your fingers ready]

haha yeah? Probably. That's why I only do it to guys. You have to be polite to girls which is why I have the cards. [points] I don't want them to be left out.

[ She can't help feeling a little flushed at the fire heart, scratching her cheek and looking away. She has to clear her throat before attempting to speak again as well. ]

Uhm... All right. What sort of sweet did you have in mind? I cannot guarantee I will like it, but I would be willing to try...

[aw man was that stepping over the line too? He hadn't meant anything by it. He lets out a breath but tries not to let on how he's feeling]

[ Thankfully it's not, it's more Adela not knowing how to react. Still, she doesn't have to wait too long before coming up with something. ]

Perhaps ice cream? It has been quite some time since I have had it last.

[ Surprising considering who she lives with, but hey. ]

There are still a lot of flavours for me to try, though vanilla bean is nice... Maybe something with fruits this time?

Not going to try something wild? [not that he's had much of a range of experience of ice cream either] I wonder if they're meat flavored ones.

Well, I have not tried a lot of it. Maybe there will be some in a fruit flavour I have never tried before?

[ Just where are they going anyway? Adela has no idea, and even if she's been being helped along with healing she shouldn't be pushing herself too hard so soon right? ]

Meaty fruit flavored. [it sounds delicious...] But listen I'm not sure where there are any of them--

[he darts across the street to kancho some bruiser in an alley trying to mug someone. The man snarls at him and there is a brief attempt at a knife fight before the man is a pile of concussive unconsciousness and Ace jogs back]

[ Yeah she's just going to watch him, frowning before shaking her head with a sigh. ]

You could have simply asked me to take his knife, Ace. It would not have been difficult.

I'm kanchoing people today. [geeze] You really think it's odd? I think it'd be great. [taps a random woman on the shoulder and gives her the card and a thumbs up grin without even losing step with Adela]

And it's not fun if I just ask to have his knife. [he flips it] It's not even very good.

I can tell, but I mean you would not have had to fight him. Having their weapon stolen so suddenly would be enough to discourage most normal men.

[ Shrug. She's not even phased at this point, it wasn't like Ace went overboard. ]

It is not a knife I would use for any reason, I will give you that. The quality of the blade looks subpar at best.

Man what's the point of doing it that way? It's not even any fun...

[he slips the knife in his belt to sell it later and then curious, brings out his own knifeand hands it to her] What do you think?

It is not meant to be, but it would be lower risk. Imagine if he had managed to get close enough to that woman to actually stab her.

[ She seems a little surprised before taking Ace's knife in hand and looking it over. ]

... It is very well-loved. Not in the best shape, but created to last and to serve for a long time. I would love to meet its maker.

[ Handing it back now, because she figures she shouldn't keep it for too long. ]

If you like, I could polish it for you. It does not look like it needs to be sharpened at least.

Man come on Adela you know I wouldn't let that happen! I knew what I was doing!

[it's lame that she thinks he's that dumb. He's a little hurt by it to be honest but he tries not to show it. But he's pleased at what she says about the knife]

Yeah? Could you? [he slips it back in the sheath and returns it to her] First mate got me that so I don't know who made it but it's pretty badass huh?

It does not matter if you would or not, there is always a risk that it could regardless. No... No matter how careful you are. I meant no insult, Ace.

[ She sighs, frowning because she doesn't mean to insult him but rather trying to exercise some caution. She's glad that he seems to cheer up when talking about the knife. ]

I am not sure of what you mean by "bad ass" but it is a fine piece. [ She takes the knife and flashes him a small smile, nodding to him afterwards. ] It will shine by the time I am finished with it, without even a trace of a scratch left.

There's always risk anyway. [though maybe he could have done that a little better. Oh well, next time]

Bad ass means it's awesome and looks like it could take on an army without breaking a sweat. [yep yep]

[sorry, distracted by the convenient if unexpected sight of a man carrying a barrel of marbles down the street.

A faint tremble goes through him.

If he kanchos that guy.... the results will be amazing...]

[ She stares at him, raising a brow before following his gaze.

SIGH. ]

[ She's learning. Or at least she knows Ace well enough to tell how he's going to think ahead of time. ]

[he picks her up around the waist and starts to run.

[ To be fair he said that he was going to do that prank anyway--

ACK! Adela can't help shrieking briefly when she's picked up and carried off, startled and squirming immediately. ]

Ace!? What are you--!? Put me down!!

[he slows down to a light jog but doesn't set her down]

But I still wanna kancho that guy to hell.

There will be marbles all over the street and people tripping like crazy....
