The event space in the Castle Royale Hotel in Genessia City was decorated for this event. Fake cobwebs and skeleton decorations hung up among the many other different types of Halloween decorations. It took several hours to get it all decorated, but there was a decent amount of help in doing so. A DJ (Who is wearing a big bear costume) has been hired to handle the music to get people in a dancing mood.

The genre of music ranges over all types, but there was some Halloween themed music sprinkled in there to just set the mood when no one was hitting the dance floor. The event officially starts at 5PM, but the doors themselves open at 4PM. Though at that time, things are still being set up, but you won't be asked to leave if you decide to sit around and wait for it to start.

There is a minor police presence with GCPD staked out at the entrance way that leads toward the event space.






Refreshments Table

The refreshment table has many things to satisfy your sweet tooth with, many different kinds of cupcakes, fruit cups, lots of different types of cookies, caramel apple bites, brownies. There are plates and such at each end of the table as well as napkins. The catering service will constantly be refreshing the table as it gets low on food.

There are even many Halloween themed drinks. There are more traditional party items like fruit platters and the like scattered among all of the delectable food as well. There is a bar set up along one of the walls in the room with a bartender standing behind it for those looking for a more alcoholic type of beverage.





Tables/Balconies

The tables among the ground floor and the balconies have all been decorated in a similar manner as the rest of the place with Halloween themed tablecloths on each table. There are small electronic, battery powered candles on each table. There is no actual flame on it, instead it is just a light shaped to look like one.



Dance Floor

The dance floor doesn't have anything spectacular different about it. There is a small, light fog that coats it thanks to a fog machine just on the outside of it. Lights are hung above it to be used when the lights in the place go dim. The fog isn't so thick that you can't see your own feet, though.

[Did someone order bad puns? No? Well, here's the walking pun machine anyway. Gale wandered up beside her, decked out in what could easily be mistaken as some kind of pirate garb with his arms behind his back.]

Aren't you lookin' good. You look like you're here to steal the show.

[ Gale's pun was met with a tired groan ]

I can see now why you and Troy are friends. You both speak in puns.

[ Ayame inspect's Gale attire, with an at-ease and impressed expression forming from that exhausted one from earlier. She may not be a fan of capes, but the overall look of it suits Gale's build. He made the right pick for a costume ]

And you're not bad yourself, you make capes look tolerable. Where did you get that?

Oh, this? [He reached back and started playing with his cape.] Had to swing by the subarchway I have open for it. No one would know what I meant by the "reincarnation of the black tortoise" here.

[The history of the character he was dressed as was weirdly amusing to him. The concept was interesting for a fictional story, but ironic for someone who actually knows the aforementioned 'Black Tortoise'. And knows he's a huge dick.]

You're not so much of a fan of capes though, huh?

[ Ayame chose to let that pun go, but she's definitely judging him for that while she drank. She kept the info on that subarchway in the back of her mind, though. She's curious about them especially since she found out there's a Dubai gate here... ]

No. Not in combat, at least. But for events like these, they're acceptable... As arrogant it makes someone look.

I dunno, Kazuya sure seems to manage combat just fine with this thing. But I guess in fiction, you've got "Rule of Cool" to go by. But I guess the cape's a perfect match for me if it adds a bonus to arrogance, eh?

[He shrugged.]

But enough about me and my pirate look. Just what is that attire of yours made out of? The lighting in this place compliments your look perfectly.

I bought the hat from Fayren along with the flowers, while the dress is actually made from multiple clothes I got from my short trip in the Dubai subarchway...

[ Ayame still feels a little weird about Dubai being there that she glanced away for a second. She had debated over and over to herself about closing it, but she also felt it would be good to have an anchor to her world, even if it's not a place she is particularly fond of. ]
