WHERE: The Castle Royale Hotel, Genessia City.

The event space in the Castle Royale Hotel in Genessia City was decorated for this event. Fake cobwebs and skeleton decorations hung up among the many other different types of Halloween decorations. It took several hours to get it all decorated, but there was a decent amount of help in doing so. A DJ (Who is wearing a big bear costume) has been hired to handle the music to get people in a dancing mood.

The genre of music ranges over all types, but there was some Halloween themed music sprinkled in there to just set the mood when no one was hitting the dance floor. The event officially starts at 5PM, but the doors themselves open at 4PM. Though at that time, things are still being set up, but you won't be asked to leave if you decide to sit around and wait for it to start.

There is a minor police presence with GCPD staked out at the entrance way that leads toward the event space.






Refreshments Table

The refreshment table has many things to satisfy your sweet tooth with, many different kinds of cupcakes, fruit cups, lots of different types of cookies, caramel apple bites, brownies. There are plates and such at each end of the table as well as napkins. The catering service will constantly be refreshing the table as it gets low on food.

There are even many Halloween themed drinks. There are more traditional party items like fruit platters and the like scattered among all of the delectable food as well. There is a bar set up along one of the walls in the room with a bartender standing behind it for those looking for a more alcoholic type of beverage.





Tables/Balconies

The tables among the ground floor and the balconies have all been decorated in a similar manner as the rest of the place with Halloween themed tablecloths on each table. There are small electronic, battery powered candles on each table. There is no actual flame on it, instead it is just a light shaped to look like one.



Dance Floor

The dance floor doesn't have anything spectacular different about it. There is a small, light fog that coats it thanks to a fog machine just on the outside of it. Lights are hung above it to be used when the lights in the place go dim. The fog isn't so thick that you can't see your own feet, though.

[This time, Karla opted for a simple black dress for Halloween. It was light and easy to move around in just in case something happened. And of course, her sword was sheathed at her side, as she never went anywhere without it.]

[When she wasn't over at the snacking tables, she was on the dance floor, just dancing alone to the music, stepping back and forth and waving her arms elegantly in random directions. She may look silly dancing alone like this, but she's just feeling so good right now.]

[Around the snack tables, a woman dressed in a showy Playboy Bunny-style outfit would happen to end up next to her, quickly eyeing Karla up and down.]

[As Pidonus turned towards Karla, she smiled a bit, observing how the woman reacted to her presence. Right now, she was really only thinking of small talk...]

Liora | Open

[Halloween was a completely new thing for Liora. So she decided to come and investigate what this party was about.]

[The event space was elegant, the music sounded like fun to dance to (if only she could dance). There was all kinds of snacks...but sadly no insects. The scary thing was the people, all dressed up as all kinds of monsters and other things. Scary things. And Liora was scared of scary things...]

[Come help her to not be scared? Or scare her even more?]

[ It's thanks to a certain Strawhat Pirate that Adela is even attending the party in the first place. It's also thanks to him that she's dressed up as a pirate captain for the occasion, even if she still doesn't fully understand Halloween.

Throughout the event Adela will be wandering around, occasionally seating herself at one of the tables and busying herself with looking around at the various costumes the people around her wore. It's interesting to say the least, and before she's even aware of it she's wearing a smile, intent on simply enjoying herself throughout the event.

Chances are she won't be allowed to wallflower the whole time, and although she'll only approach her friends or acquaintances of her own volition she will at least try to make conversation with those who approach her. It's at least clear that she's more comfortable than she was at the masquerade at the end of summer, at any rate. ]

[Ever since the night of fireflies ball, Anastasia has been looking forward to the next party. She had a couple of costumes picked out already, but she had already worn one of them. So the only remaining choice was to dress up as her pokemon, Sylveon. Complete with a pink wig so her natural blonde hair doesn't clash with the rest of the outfit.

Anastasia can be found at the refreshment tables or the dance floor. Feel free to join her. but don't throw any pokeballs at her. Those hurt.]

Cute. [at the snack table Ace as an orange Zorro will tug at her ears] Some kind of bunny rabbit? [he picks up a plate of weeners-onna-toothpick (get them while they're picky) and meticulously eats them one by one]

[Pidonus had been interested in the Halloween party for a little while, and when she heard that it was coming, she'd done some research, acquired a costume... And showed up at the party in a showy Playboy Bunny-like outfit, with showy coattails, fishnets, and simple heeled shoes, using a bit of magic to keep her magic items hidden in a magic pocket just in case... Along with several more bunny outfits in various sizes. She was definitely considering talking a few ladies into dressing in something more to her show-offy preferences, if she had the chance.

But she wasn't pushing it - instead traveling freely around the party, often hitting the refreshments tables and going up around the balconies to try and run into people who she either knew, or who looked alone to chat with. She was determined to enjoy the evening, even if she didn't use her powers even once...]

[ Oh Nehra she's blushing just looking at Pidonus.

Normally other peoples' clothing choices don't bother her, but when it's something so attention-grabbing as... That, Adela can't help staring briefly. She knows she's red-faced and she has to look away soon enough, pulling the brim of her hat low over her eyes because it's just too much for her.

Hopefully she can walk away and pretend like she never saw the other, but it likely isn't going to be that easy. Her luck is never that good. ]

*Sonico was looking forward to the Halloween party - it was a holiday she enjoyed and, for once, she didn't seem to have to do any real modelling work. Her agency had, however, suggested a costume, and so Sonico attended as <a href="https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/419wNgcI51L._SY300_.jpg">SnowWhite</a>.

At the start of the evening, Sonico is admiring all the various party decorations, just wandering around the beautiful space. Later on, she will be drifting around the refreshments table for snacks or an exciting Halloween cocktail. She goes nowhere near the dance floor, just watches from a distance, always keeping herself on the edge of all the major excitement*

[As chance would have it, a certain friend of Sonico's also showed up. Athrun is there clad in a red medieval dress jacket with black pants and white boots. As he usually does at parties, he's walking around looking for people he knows. He spots Sonico and waves to her to get her attention as he walks toward her.]

[Parties like there are events Yang can get behind. The blonde is dressed up like a vampire as she walks into the party. Though she's dressed it up a bit with two golden bracelets around her wrists.

The blonde could be found everywhere and anywhere there was people, at the food tables, at the bar for a drink, or even on the dance floor dancing a groove. Anyone wanna say hello to the boisterous blonde?]

[ Adela, in all her pirate-costumed... Glory? Runs over to Yang, grinning from ear to ear as she sees the other. Something about the night just makes her feel more giddy than normal, whether it's because she's actually able to run around or because she's having fun at that party itself is up in the air. ]

Luffy | Open

[Loud clanking would be the first indication of Luffy's presence. Thanks to Adela, Luffy's Halloween costume is a fake knight's armor made of cheap metal, definitely not anything usable in any circumstance. Though strapped around his neck still is his ever-present straw hat.

The pirate is mostly going to be around the food table, eating and drinking what he can manage to get into his mouth. He's at least going to try and do it politely.]

Konoka Konoe | Open!

Halloween party? You bet Konoka's there!

Konoka has opted to go for a more perky flavor, decked out in a frilly, idol-styled pink dress, replete with leg warmers and high heels. She's half tempted to open up a karaoke session, but is now just talking to the people she knows and exploring the huge space set aside for the party. Of course, that depends on if she avoids any drinks or not...

The voice comes from a girl around Konoka's age, maybe a couple years older dressed up as some kind of futuristic commando. She's holding a drink in her hand and from the looks of it, it's an alcoholic one.

[Chiaki was trying her best to enjoy the party, wearing a costume that was video game themed. It was a comforting thing for her at least. But Chiaki was not sure what to do with people she didn't know, a huge group of people she didn't know.

She knew she should at least get out there though, but instead found herself either finding some food to nibble on for the time being or lingering by the dance floor, wondering if she should give it a go. Her eyes darting back and forth from the floor over to the wall. After a small breath she stepped away from the floor for the moment, going over to see if anyone wasn't too busy.]

[Smoker, all dressed up as a baseball player, though apparently not having bothered doing up the buttons, sees the small girl on the edges, like a girl trying to figure out when to jump into skipping rope.]

[Ace is wearing a little something like this except foregoing the shirt, and everything is a bright orange and with his hat. To compensate for this lack of disguise he's also wearing his goggles.

He'll divide his time between the snack table and asking ladies out onto the dance floor and while his dancing is good it's not exactly elegant.

[At the moment, Athrun is taking a break from socializing. He's found an empty chair and is helping himself to a collection of food on the plate before him.

He does spot D.Va going back and forth. When she looks in his general direction, he waves to her. The chair near him is empty, too, if she wants to sit down and eat/drink.]

[Athrun is there tonight, dressed in a prince's coat, black dress pants, and white boots. For the most part, he's walking around the party looking for people he knows, but he's also been making stops by the snack bar to get food and drink, and occasionally taking to the dance floor to join in on the dancing. Or maybe you'll find him on the balcony, looking out over the view.]

[Lenalee was holding her golden coloured dress with her gloved hands as she moved across the floor as she was looking for a place to sit down. After all she was not use to wearing heels and sitting down so she could rub her feet felt like it would be a good idea.

Taking a sit on the balcony she moved to take off her shoes, running her feet slightly she looked over slightly.]

[Surprisingly enough, Xander looks perfectly at home at such a party. Sure, everyone is in costume, himself included, but other than that, it's just another party to him. He mills about with a glass of red wine in his hand, or he's seated and partaking in some snacks.

Somehow, even eating cookies and cupcakes, Xander comes across with regal poise.]

[ in contrast to xander, sakura looks downright terrified to be here. she knows kaden is trying to help by dragging her along to these parties, but she's still pretty nervous around so many people she doesn't know.

hence why, when she sees xander in the distance, she beelines right for him; making sure to lift the ends of her dress up along the way; lest she end up tripping. ]

[Ibuki's never one to miss a party if she can help it and this one is no exception. And of course she's gone all out with her witch costume, complete with the pumpkins and the hanging Monokuma that would be particularly macabre to anyone who knows how she died. Fortunately, there's really only one person she can think of that would pick up on the connection and creeping out Nagito isn't really a concern for her.

Besides. This is an exercise in making sure she doesn't creep herself out and technically everything had been Monokuma's fault so it's a form of justice.

And of course she's into everything she can get into. She seems about determined to try a little of everything from the buffet, though that's partly because that's where a lot of people gather at any party and that gives her a chance to bump into people.

When she's not there, she's on the dance floor either rocking out to the tunes being played (and you can bet she does a mean Thriller) or playing in the fog - and that includes using it to sneak up on people, letting the chain of pumpkins hover in front of her targets as she speaks in a pseudo-spooky voice that's still very clearly hers.]

[Well, one of the attempts to sneak up on someone would work surprisingly well. Pidonus had kind of spaced out for a moment, adjusting something on her rather showy outfit, so when Ibuki began to speak, the succubus jumped a bit, spinning around, though not saying anything.]

[And there goes the kind of hyperconfident composure that would usually influence Pidonus' mode of dress so...]

[ the joke here is that hawke's costume is literally the outfit he wears every day back home. why bother changing when you already look like you're wearing a costume anyway? saves time, saves money, and it's also pretty hilarious when you think about it. that, and hawke doesn't even know what halloween is or the concept behind wearing costumes. but he goes because, hell, it's a party and it's not like he has anything better to do right? right. and like any ferelden-born piece of garbage, he heads directly to the bar to grab a drink before he starts mingling.

any familiar faces (all like, what, five of them?) will get a wave or a raise of his glass toward them in greeting. everyone else? eh, probably the same thing, let's be honest. he's not really picky who he associates with so long as they're not trying to stab him in the back or anything.

[Sun had danced a bit earlier, now he’s sitting down taking a breather. He’s on the ground floor, looking at all of the rest of the people as they chatted and danced and ate. He was going to get back out there eventually, but for now he rests. He was sitting there in his costume (specially tailored to accommodate for his tail). He has legit handcuffs, though the gun in the holster at his hip is a fake one. Kind of a funny costume if you knew about some of his past issues with the police.]

[He’s grabbed some food from the spread they have set out. It was kind of difficult not to want some of those cupcakes when they look so good. He grabbed at least two and placed them on a plate. Then the rest of his plate was filled up with some assortment of sliced fruits. Just inhaling the scent of his plate was making his stomach growl.]

[ Weiss was on a mission. A very important mission, and that mission was finding out what Sun was dressed as because gosh darnit, no one teases Weiss Schnee and gets away with it.

Okay, they do, all the time, but she's at least going to knwo what she's being teased about, even if it meant dragging Jaune along with her for a 'quick detour' before they went off to have a nice stay-at-home pajama party. At least her night gown was easy enough to pass off as a costume- Weiss was claiming she and Jaune, also sporting pajamas, are dressing as siblings at bed time. She doesn't even seem to care that Jaune is wearing bunnies in public. It works for her claim. ]

[ Sun spotted from behind! She points so Jaune can see, but she's half tempted to go grab his well-tailored tail for making her come here just to find out what he's wearing. She refrains, since all she can see from his back side is blue so far. Blue and handcuffs..? Uhhh. ]

[Of course David is going to be here. He’s the one that set everything up. It would be bad form not to show up to it. Plus he had to make sure he kept an eye on things. He has a tablet in his hand and he swiping over it. The staff tending to this event had a direct line to him from it and they could let him know if any situation arose. He doubted it, though. But he was there if they needed him.

His costume is that of an adventurer. Having to stuff his hair under the hat was a pain, but he managed it. He’ll be bouncing around all over the party, so someone can bump into him anywhere.]

[Karla's still dancing solo in her black dress, but then she decides to catch a breather, casually walking over in David's direction. She has to do a double take when she sees him, to get a closer look at his face.]

...David? I like the costume. I almost didn't recognize you.

[And she has her sword sheathed just in case something happened as well. Although she doesn't expect it to...but then again, she didn't expect to dance with Freeza at the masquerade either. So anything can definitely happen when one least expects it.]

[Yashiro hadn’t been entirely sure if he was going to come or not. Judging by the fact that he’s standing there now, it seems he’s opted to come. His costume is one he already owned. It was from his time on a television show. While he should probably pick something else, it still felt like it fit, as it was indeed a costume and not something he wore every day.

He sat at a table, sipping the drink that he had sitting in front of him occasionally.]

[Chiaki smile as she stood there, she at least guessed this was someone she knew anyway. Although within the next moment her smile fades slightly.]

Ayame Sasaki | Open

I. Arrival

[ Ayame arrives to the party a little later than everyone else. She had a lot of hesitation about going ever since she saw the invitation on the paper. But since she wanted a massive change in her life, she forced herself to go and hope it would be enough to distract her from her own thoughts. The music is already booming indistinctly in the quiet hallways leading to the ballroom. The every growing beat of the bass shaking the ground matches the clacking of her heels. Once she reaches the doors of the event space, the warm lighting illuminated her costume. The song that blared in the speakers matched the moment she stepped foot in to the party.

Even with the summer-themed costume that showed her generous curves, Ayame's calm elegance and quiet entrance muted the unintended sexiness of her outfit just enough to not be overwhelming. Ayame thought she might have gone a bit far for a costume, but if she's gonna be fashionable it's go big or go home. She even used her power over matter to change the color of her skin and hair, and added a glowing light in the flower attached to her hat. The wide brim of it obscured her face. But when she lifts her head up, it revealed her eyes that scanned the entire party. ]

II. Shaken, not stirred

[ First order of things: get buzzed. The first thing Ayame approaches is the refreshments table and the bar counter nearby that served alcoholic drinks. Throwing some bills on the table, Ayame asks the bartender her drink of choice like it's second nature ]

Starting small for the night. I'm not sure if you serve it but, for the sake of the theme... I'll have "The Zombie"

[ The bartender makes a quip at Ayame's drink choice, then gives a nod and goes to the back to gather what is needed for this actually very potent drink. Ayame just sits on and rests her back on the edge of the bar counter, crossing her bare legs and watching the party from the comfort of the bar. ]

II.V. Spooky Scary Carbohydrates

[ Second order of things: try out the baked goodies. Being an aficionado for baked goods, Ayame samples each kind. She didn't really want to reveal too much or even use her powers, but there's so much here that she couldn't help but just let them float around her. Seeing someone grab the last piece of a particular snack just as she telekinetically lifted it, Ayame let it stay in mid-air and talk to the person ]

Oh! I'm sorry. You can have it if you still want... I was just going to take a small bite to taste test it, anyway.

III. Crisis Averted

[ Ayame still thought she might have gone overboard with how detailed her costume is, even minutes in to her time at the party. Wanting to get away from the speakers blasting loud music, she took the stairs to the balcony to get a better view. It was there a couple of party goers were hanging out by the rails overlooking the dance floor below. Ayame have caught their attention, and it was when Ayame returned their looks that one of them got frightened - as if he'd seen an actual ghost. The man loudly flailed about before gravity dragged him down. But fortunately, Ayame, who seem to have teleported, was there to grab the man's leg and pull him up effortlessly with one arm.

"That's a scary mask, bro" the accompanying man says to Ayame just as she safely rescues his friend. ]

Well, it is Halloween... Though I'm sorry about that. I didn't mean to scare anyone. You two have a good rest of the evening...

[ All Ayame could do is respond with a sheepish expression, parting with the two men and cringing to herself. Yeah, she definitely went a bit far. But in her defense... this is her first Halloween party ever ]

IV. Walk, walk, fashion baby

[ After getting a few drinks in her system, Ayame had loosened up enough to talk to people, with a camera in her hand. With a respectful soft-spoken hello to each person she approaches, Ayame gives a small apologetic bow for taking up their time. ]

Hi. I was just wondering if you'd let me take photos of your costume?

V. Just Dance

[ Even with the booze she had that made her a bit more relaxed, Ayame stood by the dance floor, hesitant to join in as evident in how her eyes shift around searching for others like her. She hopes she wasn't the only one who is hesitating, or she'd look rather foolish. She claps along with the beat and after every song with a melody she enjoyed just to make herself look less of an awkward wallflower. All this time she's just been forcing herself to have fun and be like one of the party-goers. But all of this is still so strange to her. Humans are odd, and trying to relate to them is harder than she thought. ]

[Smoker, despite the baseball outfit, and two cigars being smoked at once, has an entire bottle of rum he's drinking. Did somebody say "easily addicted?"]

Because that's how you wake up feeling in the morning.

Anise Tatlin | Open~

[It wasn't hard to tell she was pretty excited about the party. Social events were the perfect place to get acquainted with all sorts of people and learn the gossip of the town as well of course.

The puppeteer was lucky enough to have her outfit from the church play she did with Florian on hand she she decided to wear it to this event praying it wasn't too formal. If she isn't busy chatting with you to get to know you, she's either getting a bite to eat or dancing with Tokunaga on the dance floor...That is unless someone would like to step in and take his place. Dancing alone just wasn't her thing.]

[Guess who decide to attend the party just to wind down from work? This guy. He decide to attend on a whim, wearing his evil fonist costume, which is really his nobility attire, red flowing cape included, and his long chestnut brown hair tied in a brain.]

Good evening. My, my, who is this lovely young lady? Is this the same Anise that I know? I suppose dancing with a doll is a good dancing partner, but perhaps you would rather dance with a lonely noble on this night.

Refreshments Table
[Sync's crash course on Halloween had gotten him in at least an amused mood for the event; given he had needed to wear a make for most of his life, he saw little reason not to once more. Especially if it might help him avoid a touchy altercation. Having definitely taken to the more macabre aspects of the holiday, he went as something resembling a plague doctor for the party. Despite the cover of his mask, he was being obnoxious and eating several items from the refreshments whenever he had a moment alone.]

Balconies
[Preferring the higher places, he could easily be found perched on the railing or sitting directly on the railing while he watched the party below, seeming unafraid little was between him and a long fall below and clearly unwilling to move.]


Dance Floor
[Despite his preference for the balconies, he did come down, mildly curious about the dance floor, but he was very much of the wallflower variety when it came to this part and was firmly leaned against a wall so he could watch the local dances.]

[It wasn't hard for the puppeteer to spot the young man from above. In fact she didn't recognize him which is why she was opting to take a more sneaky approach to find out if the mysterious figure from above was a threat or an idle gazer. Finding the stairs up she started looking for the idle gazer to check nothing more nefarious was going on to ruin such a good night.]

[Though he had wanted to become more acclimated first, he did know of Halloween, and therefore opted to attend the party, also opting to dress memorably as well as impeccably with only a small mask.

Yet, a small loneliness hung about him, that was not to say he was morbid or unapproachable, quite the opposite; he could be found chatting up everyone that would spare him a moment of their time and answer a few small questions about themselves. Avoiding the refreshments table primarily save to pick up a single cupcake to nibble, he did stop by the bar to collect a drink to imbibe while he stepped throughout the proceedings, appearing at the dance floor to see what dances one might get a chance to partake in should a willing partner arise.]

[If one had the patience to keep up with him, or happened to be lucky; they might find him near one of the upper tables by a window, also reading quietly at some points during the party, and alternating from his reading to gaze at the moon and if one was quiet enough to listen, they might hear him wax poetic and sound as if though he were pining for someone if they could hold their tongue long enough.]

[Ibuki has always been too curious for her own good, and has always been inclined to ensuring the people around her are having fun. Of course, she's aware that more sedate pursuits can be classed as fun to some people but in the middle of a party?

[While Nagisa hadn't wanted to do something penguin theme, the other option was sadly not something he could do. Instead he had managed to ask someone to help make him him over into a zombie. They had done the make up so it made it look like flesh was nearly dropping off in some areas, areas were uncovered in others. Over all, Nagisa was glad for the look. It was different.

However it made eating hard. So he avoided it for the time being, instead sticking to the dance floor and going up to people with a smile.]

[Fai was wearing a costume he had made himself and one that he based fully on a friend. he had been tempted to act the part but refrained for the time being as instead he was busy currently looking at the refreshment table and judging it harshly.]

[Bracken was also dressed up in a way that reminded him quite a bit of a friend from back home. The idea, however, had been Katze's, when the alien decided to dress up as a combo of Mad Hatter and Cheshire Cat, and Bracken ended up as the hatter.

Of course, it looked very out of place on the normally very plain mage, but he did his best. He certainly didn't have Hatter's lithe figure or neatly trimmed hair, but he at least was a decent height.
