I have a few questions. [ she pauses, smiling as nee crawled onto her shoulder and the demon maneuvered to sit on top of her head. ] I’m going to work but I guess I can ask now… does the name “Garden of Amahara” relate to anyone? And um… if so, where or who did you hear it from? I know everyone comes from different worlds. Universes even! B-But someone has to know, right? Maybe.

Yes, I'd rather it last forever. But alas, Banality will eventually win. I'll be unravelled, sent away while my mortal form continues its life as an amnesiac. And then I'll be reborn... again.

At least, until humans manage to wipe out all the bengal tigers. Then... I probably won't be reborn again. No one knows for certain.

Today was my first day! It feels good to work again, and soon I’ll be out and looking for a new place to live once I get more money saved.

A new place? Well it's nice to have goals at least.

I don't really have goals right now myself, biut it's nice to see others who do.

I’m sure you have a goal, though. Sometimes they’re just not very obvious at first.

Oh I have a purpose, I just don't have goals beyond just making friends.

M-Me too! I didn’t have a lot of friends when I was younger. So I guess I want to make a lot now to make up for it.

[He knew what it was like to not have friends really when he was younger. he always found it hard and always ended up simply playing games by himself till High School.]

But in a positive, you truly learn that way whose a good friend.

I just… I never went to school. I just stayed home most of my childhood, so I was naïve and made friends with people who just wanted to use me for stuff.

( she sighs, but shrugs dismissively. )

But at least we know better now, right? I’ve made lots of good friends!

Yeah, though I don't think I ever went through that phase. I mean the friends I made did pick on me to try and make me a man, but they were trying to in a way get me to stand up for myself.

[He always saw the positive in things, or at least would try anyway.]

But yeah we learn from our mistakes and that is what helps us grow. I'm sure you would be surprised at what I was like when I was younger.

They shouldn’t have done that. You’re fine the way you are. I hope they grew to appreciate you as you.

We’re learning more about ourselves more and more everyday. Were you that different when you were younger?

Uh... thanks. [Well now he felt awkward, at least this was voice.] But it also helped me in slowly gaining confidence in myself. But they did. I mean I can stand up for myself now... Just not in the way they had tried and they accepted and now understand that.

[He paused to think about it.]

Up until high school I was very much the same, lacked confidence, found it hard to make friends easily. Only really had one friend. How about you?

I … uhh, I didn’t have any friends. I didn’t even go to highschool. I was, erm, homeschooled for the most part.

I just stayed with my grandma and she taught me a lot about flowers. She had a really big garden.

At least you had the confidence then. And friends. And went to school…

( sigh. )

What was home schooling like? Sounds like you enjoyed it to an extent.

Yes, but we all live our lives differently to make us who we are. You just went through a different route and you#ll learn in a completely different way.
