It occurs to me that with the change of weather, those who have Pokemon will likely be seeking to help their Pokemon adapt to the colder climates. I've recently cultivated a large crop of Aspear berries that I am offering free of charge to Pokemon trainers.
For those unfamiliar, Aspear berries promote healthy circulation and are very valuable when combating ice-type attacks, as it can help Pokemon recover from freezing. All I ask in return is a chance to see what Pokemon each trainer has.
I'll admit this is far from an act of altruism on my part. I still seek stronger opponents, and knowing what Pokemon are in Genessia can help me find those opponents. Battles are purely voluntary however, and I will not pressure anyone into such a situation or hold the berries back from those who do not wish to participate.
Are they spicy? [Gengar's picky. Hey, wait a minute]
Erm, where did you get those?
They're actually rather sour.
[Have a deadpan look.] I grew them. Why?
Re: [Video]
"Well, of course, I know what 'cultivation' means. Not to imply you stole them or anything."
[Wouldn't be the first time...]
"But all right; where did you grow them?"
My subgate. Where else?
Re: [Video]
"Oh..." [Dang.]
"Well, ah, good afternoon."

So...you are seeking to become stronger as well? And what exactly are..."pokey-mon?"
no subject
We are beings from another world that manipulate a wide variety of powers, in simplest terms.
no subject
[Okay, wow. That's impressive in itself. It already sounds way out of her league, but how else is she going to improve?]
There is something I must do back home, so I need to become stronger...I just don't know how to do it in this world...
no subject
For Pokemon, the path to growth is simply through battle. I'm afraid I cannot help you in seeking power elsewhere.

["A little intense...?" Says a young lady from a race of people who thrive in the cold.]
"How would you want to see our pokemon? And how would we pick up these berries?"
video;
You can pick them up at the Subgate in Fayren leading to my sanctuary of Lake Purity. I simply ask that you allow your Pokemon to walk outside of their pokeball. I can gauge desire to battle as well as strength with a simple glance.

[The perks of being a child. She has all the time in the world... Unless Satsuki says otherwise.]

Any time would be acceptable.

So...how many of those berries would be needed for a large bird?
[A pause.]
And by large, I mean like...can't fit it in my room, made of fire, and probably only tolerates that I use it as a heat source some times because I feed it lots of tasty bird food.

...With that description, only two Pokemon come to mind. Ho-oh and Moltres. While both are unlikely the latter is the more likely of the two. Are you claiming to have caught one of the legendary birds of Kanto?
[A beat.]
To answer your question, I would say one crate would do for a week.
no subject
A crate per week huh? Hm...could I keep coming by to pick them up, or should I just carry them all home?
[Yes. All at once. Pokemon aren't the only ones with super strength.]
no subject
[Excuse Mewtwo for a moment. He's going to just... be wordless at the flippancy with which Yang speaks of Moltres.]
...You have no idea what you have in Moltres.
[He shakes his head a bit.]
Whichever is most convenient.

[ The rest are all ice-type or partially ice-types Pokemon except for her Castform, but Atmo is an ice Pokemon when the weather is cold so it's all good. ]
Atmo knows Hail so any time it gets too warm for the rest of the team in other parts of the year we just have a snow party. [ Between Weiss's ice dust and that she's been handling the weather changes just fine. ] Can Arcanines drink hot cocoa? I know dogs aren't supposed to, but he keeps trying to sneak some and I know Pokemon are different so I'll take this opportunity to ask before she makes herself sick. Oh, and I wanted to ask if you have a way to get ahold of TMs? I need 11.

Quantity is not an issue. As for chocolate, I do not know of a single Pokemon that can't eat chocolate. In fact, chocolate is a very common treat for Pokemon in Unova, commonly used by trainers to start fostering friendships with newly caught Pokmeon.
As for the TM, I do not have any, but with time and materials, I could probably create some for moves that I can use, and Sunny Day should not be an issue.
no subject
[ She just wanted to make sure since she knows Frost and Sleet can't have them and while an Arcanine isn't a typical dog, it's still dog-esque in feature. ]
I have TM35 and a Magmarizer if you'd like that in exchange, or I can try to get something else to trade if there's something specific you want. I had Atmo learn something instead of Sunny Day before since my team was largely ice, but I'm thinking it'll go a long way to help Char, Joan, and.. probably Sun. [ He's not a Pokemon but she knows he'd enjoy it not being freezing in the winter.
..Oh, and the thing he was actually asking for. ] Charizard, Arcanine, Lapras, Glaceon, Froslass, Castform, Amaura, and Smoochum.
no subject
It would probably be easier to convert the TM into the desired move rather than attempting to create one from scratch.
[He makes a gesture toward the side of the screen and a piece of chalk behind him levitates and starts drawing what looks to be blueprints on the wall behind him.]
You may stop by any time to pick up the berries. [He pauses as he considers the team Weiss has. An odd collection of types, leaning toward fire and ice. If he didn't know any better, he'd think she was attempting to make a gym based on the two types.]
I see. I would still like to meet them in person to gauge their willingness to battle and power for myself, but again that is completely optional.

[Action] - I have permission to do this
Walking on the clear water, Ayame listens to the harmonious sounds of the various wildlife and feel the sunlight against her face. Closing her eyes, Ayame takes a deep breath and just let the natural wonder of Lake Purity engulf her weary senses. As someone not completely human, Ayame wasn't bothered by the high elevation. In fact, she welcomed the feeling, bringing her back to her childhood training in the mountains.
Ayame feels her Resonance powers are a little more "in-tune" in this place with how serene it is, helping silence her anxious thoughts and make it clearer to hear and feel the presences of each Pokemon living in this mountain. A Lapras was the first Pokemon to approach her, lowering its head enough for Ayame to rest her palm on it. All of this was enough to make Ayame give a genuine smile. ]
This place is even more beautiful than I've imagined. I'm grateful that you granted me permission to visit.
[ Ayame speaks to Mewtwo, all while her eyes remain fixed on the Lapras on her side as more water Pokemon feel less worried about her. ]
[Action]
[Mewtwo had been watching since Ayame entered his gate. Immediately, he knew something was... off about this person. She was far from ordinary and probably not just human. Still, she posed no threat to the area or the pokemon living there. A fact he'd had to impose upon a Gyarados that took offense to her entering his part of the lake, though he kept to the depths for the moment.]
It is a natural anomaly in my world. There is no place like it, and I am lucky that the natives of this place accepted me when I came. All are welcome, but I am this place's guardian as much as resident.
It would seem that Lapras has taken a liking to you.
[Action]
Then the feeling is mutual.
[ Ayame lowers her hand from Lapras to let them get back to their business. Lapras gives her a small appreciative glance before it returned to its own small herd. Out of all the Pokemon here, it seems Lapras has the smallest number, Ayame notices. ]
I don't intend to pry too deeply, but you had me curious about your relationship to the humans of this universe. I can tell you don't feel fond of them. How come?
[ She feels she already knows the answer, but she wanted to hear Mewtwo say it so she can get a better understanding of him and why he's so protective of the other Pokemon. Her tone is polite and her demeanor meant no offense ]
[Action]
[There's a pause as Mewtwo calls over the Venusaur that was napping off to the side, looking more plant rather than Pokemon.]
The humans of this universe have not wronged me. The sentiment is... more general than that. I was created by humans to serve one man - Giovanni. He sought to use my power to dominate any that stood in his way, and ultimately bring the world to its knees. I did not take kindly to that.
The Pokemon with the markings like that on Venusaur here are clones - like myself. Genetically engineered to be superior to their natural brethren. Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise were results of my attempts to recreate the process that created me in a misguided attempt to replace the natural Pokemon of my world.
[Ever since putting his story in the paper, it was getting more and more easy to talk about his origins with others, though it helps he can sense no ill will from Ayame.]
