[Grimmjow’s device switches on and starts to record. It’s a low angle shot, but Grimmjow can be seen holding someone up by their throat. Grimmjow didn’t read the pamphlet or anything when he suddenly woke up here, mostly because he is pissed.

The person he’s holding is struggling to no avail.]

I’m going to ask you again. Where the fuck am I?! [The fact that his hand was cutting off the person oxygen and they were also pretty freakin’ scared right now was stopping them from giving him the answer that he wanted. Wherever the hell he was, he wounds were healed and he couldn’t get out of there with Descorrer.]

Are you going to- [Before he could finish what he was saying, the person he was holding had passed out from lack of air. Grimmjow threw them to the ground and made an audible annoyed grumble.]

Nnoitra..Ulquiorra..If I find out one of you assholes are behind this, I don’t care what your rank is, I will fucking rip you in half! [Nnoitra was already on his shit-list for stopping his fight with Kurosaki.]

[It's been a while since Orihime actually kept her spiritual senses open to seek out familiar reiatsu signatures. If she had, she might have been aware of Grimmjow's presence the moment he appeared in the city. Instead, this is the first sight she gets of him. Before she can protest properly, he's already dropped the person, much to her relief.]

[She's hesitant to speak up. She doesn't know what point of time he came from. But it's only a matter of time before he picks up her own reiatsu, so it's probably best to let him know she's there. Otherwise he might suspect she's hiding from him for suspicious reasons.]

Anou...they're not here. People just kind of get randomly selected to show up here!

[If Grimmjow wouldn’t have let his anger and annoyance get the better of him, he might have picked up on the fact that Orihime was here sooner. He pauses for a moment when he hears that familiar voice and he looks around before spotting her on his device on the ground.]

What the hell.. [He reaches down and picks it up.]

Kurosaki’s woman? [Now he’d just seen her not that long ago. And what she was saying didn’t make him any happier. He grumbles again. Figures he wouldn’t get his chance to take his revenge on those two.]

Then is Kurosaki here? I can just kill that bastard now without them getting in the way.

[Wow. There are so many things that are wildly incorrect about his response. She's not sure if she should put him straight or just...move on. Probably best to get him informed as soon as possible instead of quibbling over the inaccuracies of her nonexistant love life.]

It wasn't them, or anyone else we knew. You can feel it for yourself. There are a lot of foreign reiatsus here.

[He assumes she could just be lying to protect her friends, but he won't just take her at her word. Instead, he shuts his eyes and uses Pesquisa. The only reiatsu that he can feel that is familiar is Orihime's.

He opens his eyes back up a moment later, and he still looks annoyed.]

I guess I can believe you for now.

[Orihime sags in relief.]

Whew...that's good. We wouldn't get very far if you didn't! Did you read the pamphlet yet?

Pamphlet? [He reaches into his pocket and takes out the crumbled up piece of paper.]

You mean this thing? [Is the look of it evidence enough that he didn't read it?]

Yes, that's the one! It has a lot of basic information in there. It also has money so you can rent an apartment and go shopping for necessities, so make sure you don't throw it away.

[He uncrumples it and takes out the money. That's all he really needs from it, right? Then he crumples it right back up.]

There's information about collecting charms to make a wish, about opening archways, the necklaces we have to wear...it's really very useful!

What the hell is an NPC?

It's basically like a background character in a book. They're there, but they don't ever get enough development to really be 'human.' It's a term from games from some peoples' worlds, we used to use it for these things in one of the worlds I used to be from since they looked like people but they weren't anything more than like.. empty shells made to appear normal.

[ It's always hard to explain that. ] Sort of like anyone who doesn't have a necklace here, apparently.

So what the hell is the point of them if they aren't real?

I'm not 100% sure here, but back where I was before they were just to make everything seem more normal. If it were a completely abandoned world with only the few people that exist here, it'd be really disconcerting, right? Not that being surrounded by freaky fake things is any comfort, but I think that's the logic.

That's stupid. I would rather them not have any of these NPC things here, especially if they aren't here to do anything but fill space.

You're not going to find any arguments here. I think they're kind of creepy, personally.

Hm- I've done those sorts of tactics before. They always seem to pass out before getting the answers you need, however.

Just gotta find a person that can handle the pain better than others. [Come to think of it, it would be even better to have someone around that could heal a person so you could break their bodies as many times as you wanted to..]

And that's a rare find, indeed.
