[ Waking up for a second chance at life after you sacrificed yourself for the galaxy may sound good, but to Cassian Andor it mostly sounds too good to be true. There's always a catch, but sulking or getting angry in this very large, comfortable prison won't help him figure it out any sooner.

Thus, as soon as he has overcome the first shock of not being dead, it's time to get to work. Explore your surroundings, acquire gear, and most of all, search for signs of Rebel activity. Yet it's near impossible to find agents laying low here without revealing yourself first, and bound to be even more daunting in Nova City.

And thus, Captain Andor who has never been interested in art, can be caught spraying the orange Starbird symbol of the Rebel Alliance here and there in Genessia City and Nova City.

Or, for the rest of the multiverse, it's just a sour-faced man looking oddly misplaced engaging in sloppy graffiti. ]

[It's the orange symbols what catches Kay's attention. He wonders if the crew of the Ghost is in the city and starts looking for the sprays, trying to find a pattern or some clue about who might be the person making them. It's only by chance that he spots the man after an hour of looking around for the 'artist'. Kay stops in his tracks, back straightening because his optics can not widen to show his surprise.

He's been looking for a long time all around the different cities, he had hope that perhaps the rest of the Rogue One team made it here too. But for weeks it has only been Bodhi and him and now this almost doesn't feel real.

Cassian is here.

Cassian is here, and alive, and well. And maybe Kay's processor is failing and his optics are only showing him what he wants to see. After a few more minutes, the droid approaches him slowly, he knows Cassian isn't fond of people sneaking up on him. There' so much he wants to say, to ask, to do.]

[He'd felt that uneasy prickle of being watched, but with chances higher that it's by someone who isn't suspicious, but will get so if he acts suspiciously, Cassian finishes the symbol. It's an eyesore, but he is no artist.

Cassian turns at the first sound of footsteps, spray bottle ready to be thrown, and sorely regretting he's not managed to get a blaster yet.

He stares, thoughts grinding to a halt.]

[And at that, Kay's shoulders relax and slumps again. It's really his Cassian then, they were never good with normal pleasantries. Kay likes it this way.]

Very rude of me, I know. If it's of any consolation, I took like two dozen of bucketheads with me before that happened.

[Kay sounds so causal that it might seems he's merely talking about the weather and not his own death. His tone is more serious a moment later.] I didn't think I'd see you again. I'm glad to see you alive and well, Cassian Andor.

[Perhaps a little while afterward, Bodhi was out and about. He had mostly been keeping to himself, still nervous about being here even with K-2SO around for some sort of company. But he was walking today, looking to see what was around - and up ahead... No, couldn't be. A familiar figure. Uncertain, he stepped closer, uttering a short, soft word.]

Hey.

[If it wasn't who he thought it was then maybe it could be taken as just a casual greeting as somebody passed them by.]

[Cassian turned to him, less startled by this miraculous reunion, but finding himself a little bit wary still on principle alone. After all he had yet to believe this was more than an elaborate imperial prison.]

I was told you had survived... of a sort. I'm glad to see it is true.

I... Well, I'm here. If that's survival.

[He looks confused for a moment before he gives a smile.]

It's good to see you here.

[Kylo Ren noticed the symbol before he saw the man making it. He knew what it was at once and it brought a frown to his face. He didn't have his helmet here so that expression could clearly be seen as he stared at the graffiti before glancing to the artist.]

What is the meaning of this?

[His tone was clearly a demand as to why Cassian was doing that and not mere curiosity about the symbol's meaning.]

[He sized up the stranger. Friend or foe? Hard to say just yet but he did seem to know the meaning of the symbol. Maybe he should have stuck to his first idea and sent out an anonymous message as Fulcrum to the entire network.]

It is art. I'm following a whimsy. [So much wasn't even a lie. That hadn't been a good plan, just a desperate one.]

[Ren's gaze was fixed on Cassian disapprovingly.]

[The bounty hunter had an eye out for trouble. Troublemakers could be profitable if they were wanted and he brought them in. The symbol was not a familiar one to him so that provoked no reaction in itself. Cad Bane was more interested in the man making the artwork. Now was this commissioned or was it vandalism? Not that he cared overly much unless somebody complained enough to put a bounty out on the perpetrator - but maybe more information could prove insightful.]

You're quite the artist.

[An innocent remark in itself - the reaction to it was what was important, Bane thought.]

[Definitely should have gone for the text message. At least this person seems to be taking more offense to his art skills, admittedly atrocious, than the symbol. But he's also a sentient of his own galaxy. Mixed bag, there.

Cassian lowers the bottle, careful not to move hastily like someone trying to hide it, and gives the man a bland look.]

I don't consider myself much of one, but it will do.

*Sonico was going about her usual day - a trip to a coffee shop, a trip to the library, nothing out of the ordinary. What was strange, though, was this man who was spray a wall with orange paint. Sonico stands nearby, but gets gradually closer, eventually standing just behind him, tilting her head at the design*

[He lowers the bottle, and regards her calmly, exactly like someone who should be doing that.]

There's no way Han can miss the spraying of the symbol. The rebel Alliance symbol.

" I guess there's no denying which side you're on." he comments. "Don't panic, we're on the same side...even though it wasn't exactly a willing thing in my case." But, willing or not, he'd ended up firmly in the rebel camp, and wouldn't trade the results for anything. "Name's Solo...Captain Han Solo."

This is unexpected, but not a bad turn. Cassian sizes up the man, then sizes him up again. He nods firmly.

"Captain Cassian Andor." He approaches him, still wary of anyone claiming to be on his side, but curious enough. "We haven't met before. I don't forget faces." But that says little, the rebellion is huge.

[Tori catches this stranger as he's working, keeping quiet for a little while as she watches him. Eventually, however, she decides to speak up:]

[Sure, there's room for improvement, but it's not bad. ...wait, she's supposed to be looking down on graffiti? Psh.]

Thank you? [Yes, it comes out as a question, he's not sure if being complimented for his graffiti skills is a good thing.]

But the art doesn't matter, as long as the symbol is recognizable.

[ ...Suddenly! Seriously, where did the little vampire come from? Either way, vandalism may get someone a price on their head, though in Nova City, she'd need a licence to hunt bounties. ]

I suppose that's one way to get attention. [ That's an accent that sounds very Twi'leki. Her red cat-like eyes, pale skin and batlike wings were the only thing unusual physically. ] Most people would post a message.

[The familiar accent catches his attention, making him pause, but... She doesn't look like a Twi'lek. Not like any species he knows, actually, though that means little. It's a large galaxy.]

It's one way to get attention without broadcasting your presence to everyone in this place at once. And it leads to personal meetings, instead of relying on that network.

[Garrus eyes the man spray painting the wall, debating whether or not to interfere. Graffiti isn't really Archangel worthy, though he's pretty sure Weiss will have a fit when she hears about it, and he is working on becoming a deputy, so he probably should do something. He sighs before casually strolling over.]

You might want to stop that. The woman in charge of this place has a real stick up her ass.

[What? He was working toward deputy status to help clean the streets, not because he liked the girl.]

[Rebels gotta rebel, or so a very special friend of Cassian's has told him. But... maybe this kind of rebellion wasn't the best idea, all things considered. It's sure getting him the wrong kind of attention.]
