Hey. I'm looking for someone who can cook dextro. Or could learn to. My race can't eat normal food so I need someone who can cook with dextro aminos instead, and the sooner the better. I'm running low on rations over here.

It's a protein. Most food uses the amino levo as a base. I need food that uses dextro instead.

Oh, then yes! Do you know what the chemical formula for the particular amino chain is? I specialize in molecular gastronomy, so if you tell me the difference on a molecular level, it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out.

Hm...

You mean dextrorotary amino acids? Those are typically only found in peptide chains of the cell walls of bacteria. I could try to artificially create some, since that's not exactly a common ingredient. Though I could be wrong since this is a different planet than my own, so it might be more common than I'm thinking... Either way, if I can find it and study it a little, I can cook with it if you're willing to pay for it.

Honestly, I don't know if they even sell dextro stuff here - I haven't seen any other turians or quarians walking around, so there probably hasn't been much in the way of demand for it. I'm a busy guy, though, so I never really learned much about cooking. More of a fighter than a chef.

((ooc: Mini rant time! I don't know why people thought levos couldn't have dextro. Like I didn't even know that was a thing because it makes sense that they can (bio nerd over here). It makes sense that the dextros can't process levo because we don't know any creatures to base this on, so it could theoretically kill them so the science still stands. End rant.))
