[Video] Intro from the Bay
[Jacques isn’t sure what he’s doing here or how he even got here, but he is pleasantly surprised to see Weiss has opened up a branch of his company over here. Perhaps the girl had more of a mind for business than he had first imagined. Of course, it also could have been because of him; he’d given her ample time to think about things when he imprisoned her in her room.
With a few adept strokes, a video of him is being broadcast, glorious mustache and all.]
Good Evening. My name is Jacques Schnee, proud father of Weiss Schnee who you all seem to know. I trust that she’s been doing an honorable job of starting up a branch of the Schnee Company here in… Genessia, was it? However now that I’m here I’ll of course be stepping up to run my company just as soon as I get settled in. If you have any business with Schnee, be sure to send them my way and I’m sure we can work something out.
[He’s laying the charm on thick – it’s all about appearances, after all.]
Weiss, darling, be sure to call me and let me know where you are staying so we can have a little chat, just the two of us. I’m glad to see you doing so well.

With.. all due respect, Father, Schnee Company here is independent from the Schnee Dust Company in Remnant.
[ Does he not remember? The broken window, being locked in his office, Weiss running.. Maybe his memories don't go that far. She's not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. It's entirely possible that he just doesn't care. For a brief moment she wonders if he'll even notice that she's older here. ]
I'd be happy to meet you in my office at the Guardian Skyrise in Nova City, though.
[ Not home. She wants him to know that she isn't just SDC property, even if it's clear that she's holding herself back and playing the public niceties game he taught all of them so well. ]
video
Nonsense, my dear! Schnee is Schnee! Besides, running a company is far too stressful for one so young and inexperienced. You should be out enjoying your youth and having fun. I'll take over until you're ready. You're of course welcome to sit in on meetings and learn how to properly run a business.
But let's discuss the family business in private! I'm happy to meet you at your office. I can't tell you how glad I am to see you taking your work so seriously. You are your father's daughter!

Fucking
Kidding.
Of all the people to arrive at Genessia, it had to be him. It takes all of Jaune's self-restraint based on a promise not to go to the Bay and maybe give him a taste of his own medicine with an emotional blast of water Dust. He could. Weiss would never speak to him again and if her father was the way she described he'd inevitably find a way to work it to his favor and blame her, but he could. Instead he clenches his jaw, forcing his anger away for the moment, his reply extra bitter despite his attempts. He doesn't even pretend to be respectful.]
Hey, Jack? It doesn't work that way.
You don't know what you're talking about. Leave the business to the adults, boy.
[He recovers with a smile.]
Surely there's some nice girl you'd rather spend your time with than an old man like me. Run along, now.

[SO CONFUSED WHAT EVEN.]
Re: video;
Though he hopes he doesn't have a faunus on his personal security team; clearly and oversight on Weiss’ part. Perhaps a glance over his resume is required – he’s sure he can find some reason to rid himself of the scum.]
Yes, well, these things happen. However I'm sure it won't be much different working security under me. Just make sure me and my company stay safe and you'll be fine, Mr...?

[Regis cannot help but arch his brow some at this unlikely announcement. It seems that Weiss been blessed with the sudden arrival of her family. That's a good thing, no? Of course it is! Why shouldn't it be? Regis is completely oblivious here about the Schnees and their history with others. He's just grateful that Weiss won't be without her family. That's why this humble king decides to welcome this man amongst all the disbelief.]
Greetings, good sir. Your daughter has done much for Genessia ovr the past few years. I can imagine she's overjoyed to see you again.
video
Yes, I am very eager to see her again as well. Weiss has always been a special child, very near and dear to my heart. I am unsurprised to hear how much she's accomplished. Though perhaps you could fill me in, Mr....?

Ah, so you're Weiss's father. Running businesses must run in the family, I see. What kind of company will you run?
Re: [Video]
Yes, I run the largest company back where I'm from, the Schnee Dust Company. However I'll be taking over the company that Weiss has established here; it's using my name, after all. I'll take a look at the mission statement and then I'll make any adjustments I see fit. Weiss has done her best, I'm sure, but she's rather inexperienced in the ways of business. I'll mentor her in the ways of a successful company so that it can be hers once she's ready and of a proper age to run it - she's still just a girl, after all.

Not to mention from the looks of it, you just arrived. I bet all you actually even know about the company is that it exists.
Re: Video
The Schnee name is a trademark, meaning that the Schnee Company here belongs to me.
[Why was everyone here so god damn protective of Weiss? Time to play the doting father card again. He took a deep breath, trying to remain calm, and put on his charming facade.]
Besides, you have to understand, Weiss is much too young to have so much responsibility thrusted on her. She needs someone to help her bear the burden so she can have time for a social life, and I can do that; I only want what's best for my daughter. She's hardly versed in the workings of a business. I can mentor her and show her how to run a successful company just as I do back home.
It hardly matters what the actual area of focus of the business is; a business is a business. They all run the same. I'll look over the actual mission statement once I get there and I can revise and make adjustments then, teaching Weiss in the process if she so desires. You see, I'm doing this for Weiss. Doesn't every parent want what's best for their children?

You must be proud of her.

Yes, it fills my heart with joy to see how well she has done here, both professionally and personally. She seems to have made many friends and become quite successful. I'm worried that the poor dear is overworking herself, though.

The pleasure is mine, Ms. Kiryuin. I'm glad to see I'm not the only businessman in town; I was beginning to doubt the caliber of humans here; some of them have no manners.
I could definitely use some assistance setting up here if the Schnee Company is to flourish just as it does back home - I run the largest corporation there. Perhaps we could meet to discuss some business once I settle in?
yes, video, derp

If you know anything whatsoever of international law, you will know that a trademark is only viable within the polity it's registered in. Given that whatever world you registered yours in certainly isn't this one, I think you'll find your claim to be spurious at best, dismissed with derision at worst.
Your daughter has powerful friends and allies. Don't push it. You look like the kind of person who can build his own empire from the ground up - I suggest you put your efforts into that, rather than pursue this rank folly.
[Video] | I know jack about international law oops
I certainly could, but why should I when the company is mine? Weiss took the company and expanded here. Sounds like it's a subsidiary of my company, making it legally mine under international law. Weiss has done an admirable job, but now that I'm here I'd like to take the back the reigns.
[Video] It's okay! I don't think there are really many nations in RWBY anyway. XD
[Video] A few kingdoms but I mean even here. I'm just making shit up and hoping for the best XD

Good day, ser. I am Dorian, of House Pavus. [ He's moving on, because he's really not expecting anyone from Weiss' world to know what that means. ]
Weiss has done quite well for herself, hasn't she? And without any ties to your admittedly ample resources as well.
[ He looks thoughtful for a moment, stroking the small tuft of a goatee below his lip. ]
Wouldn't that, then, suggest her company was her company, not a placeholder? It's rather large, though, from what I've seen. I'm sure she could find a position for you somewhere within its structure.
video
No, she still used the Schnee name, and it's in my contract that any subsidiaries of my company belong to me. I am of course impressed with her initiative, forming several branches here, and of course she is welcome to remain a member of the Board, but it's only fair that I should resume control.

Re: video;
[He takes a deep breath. He's getting tired of all of this disrespect. Don't these people know how powerful he is? No, he supposes they wouldn't. Weiss might have started the company here, but she's weak. She doesn't
flauntwield her power as she should.]Did you listen to a single thing I said? Weiss has done an excellent job starting a branch over here, but since it is my company she's expanded, I have the right to take my seat back from her. I am more than willing to keep her on by my side if she so desires.

It was something she felt like was normal and had never been told otherwise. It really was something to ponder over.]
And she was also super serious like you. Is it just old people who are like this or what?

Hi there, Colonel Sanders. [And yes, he knows your name, but he just wanted to say that.]
Weiss has done a terrific job in the years she has been here and from what I've seen personally during my years here. I'm sure she will do what she wants with her company she built from the ground up, so if she wants to give it to you, that would be her choice.
[He paused for a moment.]
But if she doesn't, then you would have no right to just force your way in and it seems like a lot of people agree on that one.
video
Weiss used the Schnee name and created a subsidiary of my company. I'm not "forcing my way in," I'm taking back my seat and offering her the one next to me, if she wishes for it. I've heard from many people what a wonderful job she's done; I'm not about to kick her out.
And I believe you misheard me. My name is Jacques Schnee, not Colonel Sanders.
[They don't even sound similar. What's wrong with this man?]

Depending on whether in the Schnee family's world it is normal for a patriarch to take over, this could lead to upheaval. He won't know till he gets a chance to speak to Emerald. For now it's best to play it safe and hope that whatever this does, it won't keep him from doing his job - or from getting paid. ]
