Sixteenth Reel: Polling the Masses [Video]
[The video comes on, and it's Grell, sitting in an office like space for a change with red walls and soft lighting. It shows her black desk, which is surprisingly organized despite the piles of paper stacked on it. Each pile was neat, which one side being stacked high, while the other much lower. A copy of the latest edition of the newspaper is also on her desk, opened to a certain article that has her attention.]
Good evening. Here in Everglade, voting will soon commence on an important law, which, strangely enough, is up for debate. The Indecent Exposure law. It's something that isn't enforced here, and there haven't been many instances of trouble regarding it, because it isn't a law. Yet.
[Grell gives pause to tap her chin in thought, looking to the side.]
I suppose by bringing it to light that they may increase... [OOPS]
[Waves a hand in a gentle, haphazard way.] Nevertheless, while the vote is limited to Everglade residents, it would be interesting to know your views on this issue. There is a Pro-Natural and Pro-Clothes movement slowly gaining foot, something of a sight for me to see. No one from my time period would ever show an ankle! [Thinking back on it makes her shake her head a bit in amusement.] Except one...
[Very much talking about Ronald.]
I'm very much Pro-Clothes, not because I run a lingerie store, but because I don't want to see anyone's nasty bits but my husband's. [Shrugs] Simple.
[She reaches over to turn off the feed, but pulls back suddenly.] Oh! And while I have your attention, what are we to do, exactly with these...Pokemon? They have extraordinary abilities, yet they're rather cute. Do people keep them as pets or battle companions, or both?
[Okay, now she's turning off the feed.]

[So says the cyborg who, for all intents and purposes, is pretty much only wearing a cloak and technically nothing else. But the cloak is important to him on a cultural level.]

Wait. You mean to tell me that is an actual debate goin' on in that city?
[What the actual fu- okay let's go to the next question.]
I think Pokémon can be both? I dunno. Two of mine just kinda became business mascots, so I'm prolly not the guy to ask.
video;
[Lots of rituals involved no clothing, after all.]
I wouldn't mind more pets, but Copper is already a handful, honestly.
[Having to clean up after dogs is so gross. She should hire a robot to do it.]
What mascots do you have?]

There are children about who should not be seeing such things. I approve of staying dressed.
As for Pokémon, I keep mine as pets and protection.

Hmm? Protection against what?

In Sornieth, dragons either wear apparel to look pretty, or who reflect who they are. And some don't wear clothing at all, and I can understand why in some cases. Such as Spiral dragons having a difficult time finding clothes that fit them due to their unusual physiology. And Tundra dragons already have fur, so clothing really is unnecessary in their cases.
My mask, gauntlets, and boots would reflect who I am. And this armband I wear is a symbol of my clan leadership.
[And he'll move his arm in front of the camera, where one can get a view of his gold gauntlet and black metal armband with red gems decorating it.]

[ Tannusen is a fucking amazing shifter, being able to subsume his clothes into his other form and reappear in them when he changes back.
But, it's a 3 point Merit that has to be taken at character generation, so it's not a common skill.]On a less serious note, maybe there's a happy medium here; everyone's required to at least be in lacy underthings.
[ IT WOULDN'T WORK, but it's a hell of a mental image, innit? ]

[It makes her wonder...]
Not everyone can look good in lace, darling. [SHE'S QUITE SERIOUS ABOUT THAT]

[He has been mostly joking when he suggested Cassian to go around shirtless but Kay is sure not a big fan of wearing clothes.]
What I ask what fits the criteria of 'Indecent Exposure'?
no subject
[Why would he even suggest that...]
From definitions of other worlds, they pertain to the exposure of sexual organs towards unwilling viewers in public and possibly incites disorder amongst them and/or society. So having sexual organs would be the criteria.

[Yugi doesn't get it at all. Wasn't there more important things to talk about than if someone wants to wear clothes or not. Unless it was a very boring day or something.]
As for the pokemon I find they are more friends, but then again a pet can be ones best friend, but at the same time if you are in trouble they'll fight... So really both.
video;
[It certainly wasn't something she thought about during her campaign.]
Hmm...point taken, but I'd rather not have my pet fight if they aren't suitably trained. That's just cruel.

I think my pokemon p-puppy is a really good pet. It's soft and f-fluffy.

Once the vote is cast, we can put it behind us and move onto other things.
