You know what? Something ridiculous occurred to me. Not once for all the time I've been here have I made any sort of post on this network on my own. I've had this useful source at my fingertips for over twelve whole months and I've never even considered starting a discussion of my own. It seems even sillier now that I've said it out loud. Typed it out loud? You get the point.

So, for those of you that don't know me, Jefferson's the name and hats are the game. As in I make them. Or I did. Been thinking about starting that up again, actually, so this is the part where this all becomes less one-sided. I'm looking for hat opinions. What's good, what's bad, what you'd use one of three wishes to abolish from history. Enlighten me.

Also. One other thing I've been wondering about. If you've lived here a while, how long? Do we actually know who's been around the longest? Who's the lucky record breaker? I get that this is an isolated question and probably not something people want to talk about and all but it's been on my mind. Curiosity and the cat.

[Hey he remembers this guy. They almost worked up the chutzpah to bust in an illegal fight club once. Didn't leave on the best of terms, but he's softened on it by now. Why he's using text instead of the always more personable video is a bit of a mystery.]

Aha, oh you meant just hats and not...in general. In that case, erm...anything...occult, I suppose. Is it possible that the beauty of hat and hair could play nicely without one depriving the other? If so, I know a few who might well wear that symbol.

Ah, so it's one's own state that decides whether their stay bodes good or ill. I was thinking along the lines of what this world looks for in its tenants. Doubtless you've noticed the arrival of some pretty unsavory characters.

Hats are the topic of the day but if you've got your heart set on discussing the dangers of communism I'm sure somebody around here will take you up on the offer. Depends on the hat and whose hair, but I think I could manage to get it to work. I do for myself, anyway.

Doubtless, but you can expect good and evil anywhere you go. Specific people being here for a reason can't be proven any more than the opposite so I keep it simple.

My favorite is the first one. But I think yours is the latter.

Knit caps are often worn by those up to no good. Particularly when they cut holes into them and break in somewhere. However, if a friend is cold they may don one innocently. See?

So, my personal opinion on hats? They're for people with bad hair. Or no hair. Also, if you wear them enough you'll have one then the other. Gotta say though, if you're going into business I think you should go for cowboy hats.

Hey. It's not personal man. My opinions come with storied observation. I spent most of my life in space. I know what a helmet can do to hair, and I know there's not much difference between that and hair.

You can't tell me that your hair looks amazing when you've had a hat on all day. You just can't. Meanwhile, look at this baby -
