Well heeeeello there everyone! We interrupt your day for a very special report! It's your favorite host with news about the City Guardian Election, live! We're so sorry this television broadcast had to be delayed in the wake of the most recent tragedies. It's thanks to them that we were able to get our Election Debate set up despite recent destruction. Now, let's take a look at this election's candidates.

We are broadcasting live from right here in Genessia City. Many folks are in attendance, including our very own GCPD who are here to monitor and keep the peace. Now onto the debate. Now let's begin the live debate-slash-Q&A you've all been waiting for. Here's how it works: You all come up with questions to ask each of the Guardians, and each Guardian will have the opportunity to answer it to help you decide which of your candidates is the right one for your city.

Look out Attleton, here comes Cassian Andor to challenge current Guardian Blaze! Award-winning cook and a man whose name is literally Blaze- they're going to set the stage on fire tonight!

Everglade, more like ever beautiful! Please welcome the lovely ladies Remilia Scarlet and current Guardian Grell Sutcliff, the baddest of the badasses running for City Guardian in Everglade!

Fayren's got one heck of a variety this time, the first election in a long while not to feature royalty! The peasants will rise to the rank of City Guardian! Welcome Qubine, Alice Margatroid, Mavis Vermillion, and Yukiko Amagi!

Watch out- It's Nova City candidates coming through! These two futuristic frontrunners are looking to fight! Welcome current Guardian Weiss Schnee and challenger Captain James T. Kirk.

And last bit not least, the center of the cities and center of our hearts, Genessia City! Let's hear what our candidates have to say, welcome the effervescent Princess Zelda, cool and collected Michio, current super Guardian David Haller, and ruggedly handsome Peter Quill.

Let's get started folks! Get out of the showers and into the town hall for this live debate, starting in 30 minutes! You've still got time to pop in, let's go, and don't forget to cast your votes this Sunday, June 25th at the polls!

{ OOC NOTE: Anyone can reply to this post with a question they want to ask the potential City Guardians. Each City Guardian candidate is tasked with answering any question on this post. No candidate is required to, but lack of participation may affect public opinion of the candidate! Lack of any activity during the election season will disqualify your candidate, however.

On June 25th, the polls will officially go up and each character will be afforded one vote for each city. So if you play 5 characters, you will need to submit 5 IC vote choices, if you only play 1, then only that character will vote. This means you as the player are voting on your character's behalf because it's going to be in the OOC comm just so that we can include instructions. There will be further information at that time as well as a link to a "booklet" with candidate information. For now though, the debate is here! }

I'd like to file a restraining order against you and my future sarlacc. You'll keep trying to steal it's food even if I put a fence around it, natural selection or not.

[ She's just imagining him teleporting into the sarlacc's stomach and pulling someone out and then teleporting out. Freaking cheater. ]

Also, while I'm at it, question for David Haller specifically: if you're this overpowering and you keep winning, how do we know you're not using your mind control powers to sway the vote? It's really suspicious.

I've been part of one election that had a vote while the other three I have run unopposed. That said, I don't know. But there are a few telepaths here that I would allow to have access to my mind and memories to check. That's the only assurance I could offer.

Yeah, didn't your opponent quit their campaign in one of them and just agree to be your deputy like a day later? That seems like mind control to me.

If she would allow it, the same telepaths could check her mind for mental trickery.

Are there any telepaths more powerful than you here?

[ Answer honestly bub. Or else she'll have to pull out the big guns!! ]

The strength of the telepath doesn't matter when checking minds for stuff, what matters is their skill. Two I have only become aware of recently while the other one I know of is Mewtwo, who seems extremely powerful seeing as he shielded the whole of Fayren with his psychic abilities which is a feat not just anyone could do. I don't know how I'd stack against him as we've never fought against each other.

One final question!

[ She takes a brief moment. It's dramatic but for once it's not entirely acting. Despite the dumb questions to everyone else and clearly screwing with Cassian outright, she does have an actual serious question. ]

Are you aware that the in-world evidence used to implicate Cinder Fall, one of your former "super prison" criminals before she disappeared from there, alone because of you and Weiss, [ she doesn't want any confusion with all of the other Schnits running around, so she'll call her by her first name ] was of crimes committed by a Cinder with a different memory of this place? Did you guys bother to ask or does that not matter?

Cinder acknowledged that she had been here before when she arrived. She was also held on crimes that she committed when she was here last time, which was destruction of property and assaulting the Nova City police force. I'm not entirely certain if I would have been alright with holding her only on the crimes she committed in the past, because I didn't trust the source, despite how close they were to her.

Because I told her she'd been here before when she talked to me before making that post, you dumb-
