[Action] Huff and Puff and Blow your Dreams Down
[First, a beautiful unhappy ending was thwarted and now he's in a new disgustingly bright and happy sun-shiny day. At least he got a pretty-pretty necklace out of this. That makes up for falling asleep in the Shadow Realm and waking up in this happy land.
Not.
Ulric, a big bad wolf, floats above Genessia, taking in its sights with disgust, thinking over what the brochures and the hologram said.]
Genessia... A whole other world from my own. No Brute. No Bruha. No Rascal...
[A sinister Wolfy grin.]
No Glitter Force~
At long last, I can do what I do best. [Ulric produces a peculiar book.]

Genessia! Your picturesque fairy tale is coming to an end-

-as I paint your dreams black!
[Ulric crushes a tube of paint in his hand and smeared the ages with the only black paint. The magic of the book is activated, unleashing a wave that turns Genessia's day in a bleak, full moon night. His magic was re-writing the future to a sad ending.
Black aura appeared around people in the immediate vicinity, wisps of darkness gravitating towards the Book of Sad Endings.]
Every ounce of negative energy turns the Wheel of Doom one more tick, bringing me closer to the day I can revive my master; Nogo, Emperor of Evil!
[But nothing happens. Ulric didn't sense that satisfying tick of doom. In fact, none of the people appear to be incapacitated by hopelessness.]

Hey... What gives? [He flies down to the nearest NPC.]
Why isn't your negative energy turning the wheel of doom?
[The NPC shrugs and continues on with his day.]
Great. What am I supposed to do now?
Not.

[Okay, so, Ganelon hasn't been here long. The heavily armored, black-metal axe-toting merc with a bad attitude made even more sour by being here in the first damned place, frowned in confusion, then further into annoyance as the flying...wolf...man thing hurled a whatever of blackness at some innocent bystanders.
Speeches. What is it with villains and speeches, anyway. He takes the great, doubled-bladed battleaxe from his the leather harness on his back and shining blue runes erupt across its surface while a strange whispering in an unintelligble language starts to whisper urgently, either to people around, to Ganelon, or to all of the above.
A wicked sort of anticipatory grin touches the dark man's lips.]
Done with your evil mantra thing yet?
Re: [action]
[Huffing and puffing in frustration. He wasn't about to call off the magic-induced night until he gets the bottom of this. His growling grumbling was interrupted by a friendly curious passerby who may or may not have a death wish.]
Huh? What if I am? What's it to ya, bub?
[Nice axe, by the way. He prefers claws, though.
[action]
Good. Villain speeches are boring. Usually filler.

[Action]
[If there's such darkness lurking, she can't ignore it
as much as she wants to run away from it.So she spreads her wings, pushing up from the ground, flying straight up and then hovering close enough to the figure to get a closer look at him, while hopefully keeping enough distance to discourage any possible attacks. So congrats, wolf. You now have a glittery dragon hovering in front of you.]Um, what...what are you doing...?
Re: [Action]
I'm stealing everyone's hopes and dreams so that I can revive my master.
[Or trying to.]
Now, get lost, pipsqueak. You're bothering me.
[Action]
[She can't let that happen. Even if she has no idea how to stop him, she just can't let him get away with it. Maybe she can talk him down somehow...]

Oh man, are you kidding me?! A wolf with delusions of world power! Man, this is SOME dream!
no subject
Dream on, kid! There's nothing delusional about my goals!
[Brats this days don't fear the big bad wolf like they used to.]

The 7ft tall droid happened to be walking near when the atmosphere changed colors and he heard the shouting. All things considered, Kay doesn't look particularly impressed. It's easy to look unimpressed when you don't have a face that can properly convey emotions, though.]
As far as evil speeches go...I've heard better. New here, I take it?
Re: Action
[Well, it's no mystery why the Book of Sad Endings isn't effecting this guy. It has no hopes and dreams to begin with.]
What if I am new? What's it to you, tin-man?
no subject
Nothing. It's just very obvious, dog.

That's quite possibly the least intimidating thing I've ever heard. That's your big nemesis eh?
This is gonna be hilarious.
[Don't mind Dante just sitting on a bench near by enjoying a strawberry shake.]

For your information, the Glitter Force are just a bunch of school girls who think they can save the world.
[Never mind that he lost to them on numerous occasions. They just got lucky, is all!]
no subject
And yet they're your top priority, eh? Not making yourself sound very imposing.

Her eyebrow raises at the wolf's question but she considers it and provides an answer. It isn't a great answer but it's an answer.]
Maybe not that. [Her voice is even and passive.]
[Action]
Mavis suddenly feels a rush of dark magic relatively close to her. She looks up and sure enough, there's a wolf flying above the land and coming in her general direction. She can catch a few things he's saying, apparently to all and sundry.]
Glitter Force?
[It sounds too suspiciously close to Fairy Glitter for Mavis not to react, though she's pretty sure it has nothing to do with it.
Also she's going to ignore the 'reviving the Emperor of Evil'... In retrospect, 'Black Wizard' sounds almost nice in comparison.
And of course, Mavis being Mavis, she has to focus on the fact that he's holding a book, one that most likely doubles as a magical artifact.]
What kind of book is this?
Re: [Action]
This is the Book of Sad Endings, where I rob you of your hopes and dreams for the future!
[And yet it doesn't work on the majority of the city's inhabitants. It's odd, but this one looks like a bundle of joy. Naturally, he'll try to ruin her day by attempting to absorb any happiness she has and leave her with a feeling of hopelessness.
Unless she is firmly committed to her happy ending, in which case the Dark magic won't work.]
[Action]
[Mavis do not look scared or even slightly impressed. She simply looks curious.]
Hopes and Dreams are among the most powerful things in the world. Is this why you need them?

Ulric teleports a short distance to speak with this one.]
And who might you be...?
action;
[And that was just her as she crossed one leg over the other.]
Looks like amateur work, also.

[No. Nope. Not happening, bub.]
[A cold mist rolls into the streets of Genessia. People start glimpsing... things out of the corners of their eyes. And the moon slowly, slowly turns a deep, bloody red.]
Who's afraid of the big, bad wolf?
no subject
Those with common sense.
Who are you? How are you able to re-write the future without a Book of Sad Endings?
no subject
The future? Is that what you call this? [Soma tsk's and shakes his head.] This is little more than a parlor trick. Anyone could break it, with enough willpower. Or alter it, as I have.
[He stops some small distance from where Ulric floats, then... jumps up and floats in front of him. Humans can't do that.]
Given the week we've all just had, I suggest you crawl into a hole and pull it in after you for a while. Someone less charitable than myself might take offense, and decide to swat you.
