[There are so many funny answers to that, each dumber than the last. It's hard to decide on just one, so he'll give them all.] Why not? Telepathy. Because you look like an Aya. Because many people who look different have different names, so it seemed the height of reason to suppose you'd have a name apart from them. And so on.
