[There are a few clicks and some fidgeting, but finally the phone is being held upright, and a girl with bunny ears and a pretty dubious expression].

Ok, good. Have this working. So that's ONE thing that's going right. Kind of.

So it seems pretty clear that my "world" has decided to pull a Dorothy on me and throw me here, wherever here is, I guess. I'm a kid, I don't have time to listen to holograms when I can just complain about my situation and why it sucks. What can I say, my attention span is my undoing.

But you guys DO have the internet, and assuming its not full of weirdos and perverts like in my world, anybody have any directions to where a kid can grab some grub, and I guess, long term goals, a place that isn't this cave?

[Ok, she had to be joking about that. Right]?

Oh come on, that's...crazy. Like being here is crazyohgoditstrueisn'tit.

[Louise face palms hard: oh boy. So this is what purgatory was like, except she wasn't dead].

So if they're like that (ugh, Suburbia, really?) what's this place like?

It is crazy.

[There is a lot of crazy though it doesn't seem as frequent as the sort of crazy that Enis is used too.]

Genessia is like any other city though it's a little bit dull.

Aw, really? Of course it would be in the most boring city! Story of my life, ugh.

So how do you travel between cities?

You go threw the portal but you have to have that necklace on you. The one that was in the box you woke up with.

[Enis holds hers up for Louis to see.]

Portals? No kidding? Oh, that sounds bad ass! Ok, things are looking a little better now!

There is one in the north, east and west from the bay area. I'm sure you can easily find them. They are also marked on the map.

[Genessia is built like a waffle. Enis thinks that'll be difficult for the girl to get lost.]

OK, listen. I'm a kid, so I don't, you know, read maps? Because that's dumb? So what's so great about these other places?

[Enis shrugs but otherwise doesn't comment on maps. That'll be something that Louis will have to figure out.]

They're the other cities I told you about. Nova City has a lot more technology. Fayren has magic and similarly strange plants and animals. Everglade has monsters and is a bit like Salem.

Might be easier if I or someone just takes you there.

Salem huh? With the witches and the uptight dudes and the hanging? I'm game.

They all sound kinda kooky though. I think maybe I should have a companion. Do you mind?

It is very much like that.

[She can't help but smile.]

I don't mind. [It'll at least give her something to do.] Do you know where you are? I can come to you.

Really?! I was just joking. Wow.

[Yeah, she'd have to visit, maybe from a distance. Did they have monorails here?

Great! I'm right outside the bay. Oh, and watch out for this cranky wolf guy. He likes to make threats about cannibalism.

[Cranky wolf? Enis will have to see that for herself.]

I'll meet you there and I'll bring something for the wolf in case he bothers us.

[It may or may not be a small tranquilizer gun.
Enis flicks off the screen and then grabs her things to head out. She has two guns and a few blades hidden on her but since she's meeting a kid she decides to only carry her concealed weapons. She doesn't want to freak Louis out. Once she has everything she shrugs on a leather jacket and heads out to meet Louis.]

[Louise was expecting a teenager, but certainly not one this cool looking. Who thought that a teenager would even be able to pull that off? A leather jacket and everything: she looked like she was out to hunt vampires!

Wait]...

Hey, you don't know anyone named Blade, do you? This is a very important question.

[Enis snorted softly and then promptly tried to hide her smile.]

No but I wouldn't be surprised if he showed up.

[She's seen some strange things since being in Genessia and it honestly wouldn't surprise her.] Where too first kid?

[In a way, Louis is right. Enis is a hunter only she doesn't hunt strictly vampires.]

I will LOSE it if he does!

[That was a promise].

Oh, I dunno. How about some place all futuristic? That sounds neat!

I'll let you know if I see him.

[She turns towards the Nova City gate, pausing after a moment to redirect them towards a nearby pizza place.]

We'll head to Nova City but I'm hungry and I'm buying pizza. Want any? [It's Louise's fault for talking about pizza.]

If you want to beat him up first and ask questions later I won't hassle you about it.

[It's not like she'd watch or anything].

Pfft, yeah, I mean, if you want.

[Louise was STARVING, but as this was the first cool teenager she met, first impressions were everything].

[Enis smiles and shakes her head. She'd honestly have a lot of questions if she ever meet Blade but she'll leave that alone since it isn't currently applicable.]

I do.

[With that Enis walks inside and to the counter. She's direct with most of the things she does and orders two slices of pepperoni before looking down at Louise.] You're up kid.

[Who wouldn't have a lot of questions for Blade if they saw him? Louise knew she would].

Oh. Yeah, a slice of Hawaiian and a vanilla shake. You guys...do make those, right?

[They do have vanilla shakes! Enis orders herself a coke and pays. She doesn't care all that much about money. What she doesn't earn she steals. Stealing has never really bothered her, it all goes back into circulation and she only steals what she needs.

She grabs her slices and assumes that Louise is self sufficient enough to pick up her own food from the counter. The place is mostly empty but Enis finds them a table near the back, placing her back against the wall and begins to eat.

Eating doesn't usually require talking.]

[If only Louise knew about the stealing part. Really, this girl would seem much, much cooler to her than she already was.

She assumed correctly though: Louise was definitely trying to give off the air that she had always been here, topped with her giving the finger guns to a confused looking patron before sitting down to eat her slices.

Is Louise talking? No, not at the moment: she is eating with relative gusto, considering how long it had been since her last meal].

[Enis is similarly eating quickly. Eating had never been a time to talk, you ate and then you did other shit. It seemed like a waste to spend to much time eating and talking when there was other things to do.

When she was finished she stood and threw out her things. When she returned she was sipping on her coke which was still partially full.]

Ready to go kid?

[Louise was a fast eater, and even more so when she had places to be. She finished a moment after Enis, and had already gotten rid of her food].

Oh yeah. The sooner we get away from a restaurant the better!

[Enis flashes the girl a momentary smile before she heads for the door. Her pace is quick but her strides are small enough that Louise would have no trouble keeping up with her. Once outside she shoved her fists into her pocket and turned to head north.

Having a map in your head meant there is no need to mess with papers.]

There is a home for kids. I can show you on the way. Being a kid means you get things for free.

[That's pretty much what it boils down to.]
